Want Fast & Same Day Service? Say NO to Jacks! Want good customer service? Say NO to Jacks! I have never wrote a bad review in my life. But, this business has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. First off, if you are looking for same day service, don't even bother. I am new to this part of town and needed my laundry washed and folded. I have called before I even dropped off my laundry to make sure I would receive my laundry same day, she agreed. I than dropped off my laundry and the attendant than told me it may have to be tomorrow for pickup. I was in a rush for work, and agreed that would be fine. They did not weigh the laundry in front of me or give me a price per pound. There is also not ONE sign of the cost for there drop off service. I would agree that I should have asked but didn't expect the results I have. Just take note they have SAME DAY service signs plastered everywhere, but not one sign for pricing on any of there services? Anyway, my fiance and our friend showed up next morning to pickup our stuff. The "owner" is the one who happened to be there. He than tells my fiance $76+. My fiance obviously shocked, explains how could that be. We only dropped off a couple towels, shirts, socks, etc. Literally two small bags. My fiance tried explaining to the owner that we were not aware of the pricing, otherwise we would not have dropped off. The OWNER just kept repeating the price over and over again. NO apology and did not even try to satisfy us as customers. My fiance than paid and walked out, angry. I am not mad about not receiving our laundry same day, you know what I am not even mad about the cost at this point. I am mad at the fact that the owner has no respect for customers. He did not handle this situation well at all. I am new to town, you lost a potential future customer, your getting a bad review, and I certainly will be telling people to not bring there business to this company. He seemed to have no care at all and just wanted us to pay and leave. Let me school you on some GOOD customer service sir: 1. Customer is always right. 2. Be polite even if you may think the customer is wrong 3. If you have an issue with a customer do everything in your power to keep this customer, even if your going to loose a little money. It is truly that simple as that. If you would have knocked off $5.00 or even gave us a piece of chocolaty to us that you surprisingly give to customers. I would be mad still at the price but at least you tried. Lastly, I would advise that you weigh the items in front of the customer and make sure they agree to the pricing!
