The staff was polite and attentive upon drop off and pick up. The cost for the 4 items I dropped off actually ended up being fairly reasonable as well. I was just a bit concerned about that as I wasn't told upon dropping them off. I was given the option of how quickly these needed to be turned around. Overall a very good experience. Nothing to do with Herman Jackson's, but parking is always an adventure in San Marco and it would be nice if they had their own parking. It would also be nice to have an idea of what the cost was going to be before leaving the drop off but the fact that it was reasonable more than made up for that. To say I am shocked would be an understatement. They did an amazing job, even trying a second time on a few of the more stubborn stains to basically make this dress from 1993 almost look new again! I asked why there were bleach stains on my dress and he claimed I brought it in that way. I insisted I did not, there was no way. It's so noticeable the woman who took the dress would have noticed and I would have noticed when I dropped it off. He said it was noted on the ticket. I told him it was not as it wasn't on my ticket and it wasn't noted when I dropped it off. He said they noted it after I dropped it off. He refused to do anything about it insisting it was my fault. I could feel by how quiet he was and the way he avoided eye contact with me that he knew they had messed it up. I am livid. My nice dress is ruined. I went out with friends and wore one of my favorite dresses and got a stain from dinner. I also had a shirt that needed a seam repair and another in need of a button. I love that they have a drive-through! Charles, the owner, explained my items would be ready the following week by Wednesday due to the schedule of the seamstress. He also explained that due to Covid, both the shirts would have to be dry cleaned after the seamstress repairs were complete. Charles provided excellent customer service! Most of the time he remembers my name even though I only visit a few times a year. That's impressive! I paid the bill when I dropped off the items which cost a little more than $30. I felt this was reasonable. I was so happy to see he removed the stain from my favorite dress and it looked brand new. And I was pleased with both of my shirt repairs. And Mr. Lee guarantees me that his water gets hot. This is true and so I've switched.
