Not only are pleasant and prompt, the quality of their work for the price is unbeatable in my opinion. I never have to worry about my clothing in their hands! Photo below shows their work with taking in a waistline and hemming up a skirt that I wore this past weekend as a bridesmaid (I am wearing a corset & skirt in the photo). They also steamed/pressed my top and skirt for free. In all, alterations cost $75 with a 1.5 or so week turn around (they could have gotten it done much sooner, but I was in no rush). In my opinion, that is an incredibly fair price for the absolutely incredible work they did! My skirt fit like a glove....better yet, it was a one and done deal. They got it perfect the first time and I have never gotten more compliments on how something has fit me. Recommend them so much so I am writing this review before I drop off items for service! Don't waste your time getting burned by other cleaners/alteration spots. Handicraft Cleaners gets it right the first time and every time!

I've been dog sitting so much this summer and recently a Yorkie peed on one of my rugs. Of course I used Resolve to clean the spot, but that wasn't going to cut it for me. I saw Jack's in the Valpak monthly coupon mailing. I'm always willing to try a business when they offer me savings. I had a 50% off coupon (max of $10), so I rolled up the rugs, packed them in the car and headed to Jack's. I almost fell over when he gave me the price but they needed cleaned. I had to prepay and was told they will be ready in a week. He called me Friday and said they were ready so I picked them up Saturday morning. They looked and smelled fresh and clean. The owner Jack was courteous and told me he had been in business for 14 years. He was the first store to open in the Target shopping center. I liked the location as he was on the end so there was plenty of parking. And he helped me carry the rugs to my car which was nice.

I left the shirt with a ticket for pickup Monday, after 4:00pm. I went in after 4:00pm Monday. I was greeted with rushed disrespect and informed how much trouble the woman who received my shirt experienced for taking one shirt. I said, "It does not mean I don't have more." Meaning I had more to bring in. I received a gruff response so I then said, "Then I won't be back." To which the reply was "That's fine." $3.97 for one shirt seems a little high considering the poor service and customer relations.

I brought in a comforter in good condition, and it was returned drastically shrunk. When I asked for a refund and a discussion on how they would rectify the damage, I was met with immediate hostility. No apology, no professionalism, just excuses and a refusal to take responsibility. It is clear that Ecowise has no interest in quality control or basic customer respect. They are happy to take your money, but they will not stand behind their work. Avoid this place at all costs.

Unfortunately, my dress was never cleaned or preserved after my wedding and after 30+ years had terrible stains. We decided to take a chance and try to have it cleaned to at least use some parts of the dress. I found Oceanside Cleaners and had a few chats with Clare about what could be tried. To say I am shocked would be an understatement. They did an amazing job, even trying a second time on a few of the more stubborn stains to basically make this dress from 1993 almost look new again! We have scheduled time with their seamstress later this month to make the changes my daughter wants for her dress!
