By the time I arrived at ER I was in excruciating pain and at the point of passing out. From ER check-in through X-rays, Ultrasound, and being placed in a room, the care was exceptional. The ER Staff, Doctors, Surgeon, RNs, and CNAs who worked during my time in the hospital were informative, answered all my questions, and truly made me feel valued as a patient in their care. Medications, Vitals, and Follow-ups were handled on time and clearly communicated on the board in my room. Highest level of cleanliness you would expect to find in a hospital. The Pre-Op Experience was meticulous, attention to detail and the Post-Op Care was truly best in class. I was discharged after 3 Days with nothing but a favorable experience. The Staff at this hospital are simply best in class. They really care about their patients. This hospital is a great asset to the City of Palmdale and surrounding communities. Jay Jay

My Mom was taken here on 1/6 only to be discharged without a proper diagnosis. There was no urgency of care/treatment for a biopsy to her liver. They discharged her to "PT" which didn't help. Ultimately we pulled her out and took her down to Cedar Sinai where we immediately seen by oncology and given immediate. I want people to see this so they know who/what to expect if they are reading this in the ER Room. ER Nurse Taylor: Kind and Attentive Jamie from GINP: She had to deliver hard news but you can tell she was limited on what she can say. Dr. Sette, MD: I am not sure why this physician is a resident and allowed to make calls on patients. He showed NO URGENCY to get my Mom treatment. He would do his rounds and always , everything it was an I do not know. Very disappointing bed side manner. Dr. Shafieh Makehei: I know this doctor tried her best but was also limited. She did her best to get answers from Oncology and Dr. Sette but there was just no urgency. Dr. Michael Cohen: Came to my Mom's room without reviewing her chart which baffled me considering she was there for many days. Ultimately my Mom was diagnosed with end stage cancer but not with them. The fact that I took her out of this place and took her to Cedar Sinai gave us two more weeks with her. If you are able to make the drive just do it. Or uber yourself. In 4 hours Cedar Sinai did what it took this place 4 DAYS to do. Think about that. If you're reading this , do what you need to do to get your self to a hospital that will treat you with dignity and urgency. Or it will cost you your life.

Very kind and understanding. I appreciate all of you wonderful ladies. Have a wonderful week ladies. Dear Antelope Valley Board, Either pay these wonderful ladies more or hire more people. One person should not have to do 3 jobs. The ladies have a smile and are very kind. Time to hire more staff and you (the Board) take a pay cut. There is a problem and I gave you a solution. Try it! You are jeopardizing peoples lives by over working your Staff. I vote!

I was there for another child who had a toothache. They developed some type of fungus disease in the ER with all these nasty sick people that they want you to sit next to even in the same chair that a person that had in either digging in a butt or in their nose or had the flu without cleaning the chairs, they never clean their chairs yet they want you to constantly sit down and wait for someone to come and see you it's atrocious. Feet hand and mouth their bumps develop at the bottom of your feet palm your hands, and in your mouth you get a fever really bad and feel very sick for the first day after that you gotta deal with the rashes that last for two weeks, I never in my life heard of something like this until I had to take my son to our primary doctor to be checked out. They have no Health cautious a Ville environment inside of that ER. I advise if you can go to any other hospital do not go there cause you will catch hepatitis A through Z while trying to address whatever else you have came into the ER .

I have…read morehad about six MRIs in the last two years and I've never had to undress down to nothing nor have I had to take out my titanium earrings out the only thing I had to remove was my hearing aid. This is a magnetic scan and it can pull metals, but it does not burn you. If it burns you, you couldn't have the titanium implants that are inside your body go through an MRI machine without getting burned or injured so it doesn't make sense that this place makes you undress completely naked, I guess wear a gown. then you have to walk through a room with a whole bunch of technicians who are male and female where I'm sure they could see your bare ass from the back of the gown. Because as we all know, they don't close up in the back. It puts you in a very vulnerable situation along with severe exposure to a group of total strangers who are not doctors or a hospital. It is absolutely disgusting and horrific that they would make you undressed down to nothing for a plain image. So if you don't want to undressed and be naked, don't go to the radiology on 1818 16th St. in Bakersfield. There are other radiologist facilities that do not make you undressed completely for any kind of image taking. Stand your ground and demand that they do not do this so don't give them your business at that facility.. You should not ever have to get completely naked for a radiographic imaging ever.! I wish I could give them a negative 1,000,000.. The staff is horrible too, not friendly and they run late. There were people they're still waiting that had appointments 30 minutes before mine..

The location is fabulous because it is low key and offers plenty of parking. The people working are also very kind, friendly and professional. They helped and answered all of my dad's questions and made the whole process simple for him. They also offer a very nice waiting area and it is very clean. Also adding that this location is open late for those of us that work during the day. Very good people working at this location. Thank you.
