Our experience with this office has been incredibly frustrating. For our first appointment, we drove more than 3 hours and waited in the waiting room for an hour and a half, only to discover the front desk had no record of our check-in and couldn't locate our appointment. We were ultimately turned away because the order required a formal doctor's visit, forcing us to reschedule. ​We returned the following week--another 3+-hour drive--only to be told the order was no longer valid, despite having a later expiration date. After waiting an hour for our doctor's office to send a new order, we were told the doctor was at lunch, fully booked for the day, and we would have to reschedule again. ​Driving 12 hours total across multiple weeks with absolutely zero care provided is unacceptable. The aloofness of the front desk personnel and the lack of internal communication is astounding. Management seriously needs to review patient files ahead of time to ensure everything is in order before forcing people to travel these distances. read more

I am giving this place a two star review and only because the lady that I first talked with when I first got there was extremely nice and I really liked her. Other than that I had an appointment at 11 o'clock at 11:30. My husband went up and checked, and they said that they were needing to get authorization for another scan. That is something I think should have been done before I got there. By 12 o'clock I was getting hungry so we went and got something to eat. They called and said 1245 appointment. I went back for the 1245 and was told that I may not be able to get out of there in time to make my 2 o'clock appointment in Lancaster because we had to wait for the doctor to come back for lunch so apparently their time is way more important than everybody else's. I do not have the time to sit here and wait for you guys to get your stuff together and so I needed to cancel the appointment cause I had another appointment in Lancaster at 2 o'clock. Very unprofessional and very disrespectful and wrong on so many levels. Do better people do better!!!!! read more

I had an appointment but still ended up waiting an extra 40 minutes past my scheduled time. It felt like everything was moving really slowly during my visit. I am not sure if they were short on rooms or if something else was going on, but the delay made the experience frustrating. The staff were polite, but the pace was noticeably slow compared to what I expected with an appointment. Pain Dr referred me for a bone scan. Called to make appointment, got appointment. Arrived 20 minutes early. Checked in and about 10 minutes later was told they did not have authorization. Called Dr while in waiting room, Dr said they were faxing now. About 20 minutes later was told still no authorization received. Called Dr again, they faxed again and also emailed. This time email worked. Now waiting for one hour 35 minutes. Tech has taken every person before and after me. Bad communication between offices and patient. Wish they would have called me like I hear them calling other patients. In excruciating pain from sitting over an hour. Why do patients pay for errors made by Drs? Not a good place. read more

This place is the worst. I called the other day to make an appointment for an x-ray, was told I did not need an appointment, that these were done on a walk-in basis. I arrive at the Palmdale location today at around 4:35 pm, only to be told, "Oh, the x-ray department is closed for the day, but you can come back tomorrow." What exactly is the point of telling someone they can walk in, with me then showing up at a reasonable time, only to be told to come back a different day? Where do I begin. Made an appt. for mammogram. the evening before the appt. they call to cancel the appt. (this happens every year) reschedule the appt. and again they cancel, after waiting another month. finally get appt. I was told that the MD that reads the film needs to be there. Ok this is where it gets good. While waiting for the appt. for over 30 minutes, sitting there a lady was told that the MD was not in she left and would be back in just a few minutes. After my appt. I was asked to wait for the MD to review and come to find out she still hasn't come back from where ever, knowing that there are people waiting for her. so I left and I have never heard from them since. I will never go back. Not sure if the MD ever came back. I was scheduled that day because the MD would be there. This is the readers digest version of this horror story. read more

This place has been great to me. During the pandemic I found a lump at the base of my neck. My doctor felt the lump and knew it was an emergency. He reached out to AIC and expressed how concerned he was over my lump. They told him to send me to them immediately. They ran every single test he ordered and I was diagnosed with stage 4 thyroid cancer. I have so much appreciation for this place, the staff and the doctors! My cancer was moments from bursting out of my neck area and going throughout my body. If not for them working me in and getting my results so fast my outcome could have been different. I had to get up and ask them are they going to call me... after I do.go to the back I wait another 30 mins and they still have not serviced me. Went in to have a CAT scan arrived early as I was told my appointment was at 10:15 am didn't get called back until 11:15am I'm diabetic sat in the back for another 30 minutes before my procedure started was unable to eat anything due to the procedure they do not care. I've been here before today and had the same poor experience. I had a bone scan ordered at this facility and had to return. I signed in at 2:30 early as always to give time for paperwork and maybe an early visit. No one acknowledges you. They want you to sign in and be seated and they'll call you up. No one smiling. I waited and finally at 3 o'clock. I walked up to the girl who is sitting behind the desk and she's told me to sign in. I said I've already signed in at 2:30. I've been here for 30 minutes and no one has even called me. I was wondering if I needed to present you with my order. She took my order and said oh yes, let me check you in. your appointment is at 3 o'clock and proceeded to give me stacks of paperwork that I could've been doing the last half hour. Even at this point she had no personal skills and appeared to be bothered. After she checked me in I was taken back and the scan only took 5 minutes but I was told to have a seat for an X-ray. After waiting 20minutes i caught someone and asked what X-ray I needed because I was waiting. They didn't know. Wasted my time. And to top it off this facility is like being in a county welfare office and they treat you like that too. I will just say my personal preference is AVOI a block or so away *****. My husband had a great experience today at Advanced Imaging on Avenue Q in Palmdale. Tre, the PET Scan technician, made the procedure much less stressful than it could have been. He is professional but also easy-going and friendly. The very friendly woman running the facility from the reception area made the wait pleasurable. I had an appt for 9/14 at 5:30 at the Palmdale location. Someone called to change it to 4:35. No problem. I go and wait a half an hour and go up to the receptionist to ask why I had not been called. She said the appt was cancelled and rescheduled to 9/29. No one, no one at all called to inform me of this. Not only did they change the appt without informing of that, they changed it to the Lancaster location. I live in Palmdale. This is rude, unacceptable, and extremely unprofessional treatment. IF YOU ARE A WOMAN WHO CARES ABOUT HER BODY AND HERSELF, DO NOT COME HERE! Came here for a mammogram. The older lady that was the tech was AWFUL!!! Just HORRIBLE!!! I told her I had a mammogram and ultrasound about 12 years prior. She proceeded to tell me "NO! You've never had a mammogram or ultrasound. There's no way. This is your first time" What?!?! How does she know?? Unbelievable. Then as she's putting me on the machine, she's yelling at me the whole time "Don't move!!" "I told you not to move!!" "Push your chest out!!" "Pull your shoulders forward!!" "Turn your head to me!! More!! More!!" She would push my entire body towards the machine, like a bully would. She wanted me to hug the machine and be right on top of it. When the scanner turned, it pushed on my face and pulled my mask off. It hurt. I tried so hard not to move so she would stop yelling at me. No such luck. She just didn't care about me as a patient at all. I left. When I got home I cried for a long time. I felt so attacked, bullied and even physically assaulted. It was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Being in a vulnerable position and having someone basically abuse you verbally, physically and emotionally took a toll on me. It traumatized me. I will never come back to any of these locations. I later visited City of Hope in Santa Clarita, and several doctors there told me that Advanced Imaging is the worst place to go for scans and tests. My special needs adult daughter is having surgery and I had an appointment for a chest X-ray. The front desk staff was beyond kind in accommodating myself and my daughter. Antoine was the X-ray tech and was helpful, patient, sweet, and kind and worked with us to get what we needed. They are in charge of their billing company. An $1100 bill was paid by my insurance company, but they sent us to collections. Their billing company won't call Blue Cross to verify the payment sent. That is their job, not mine as the patient. I have been asking Advanced Imaging Center to deal with their billing company and nothing has been done. If you don't want to fight over paid bills, don't go to this imaging center. Find another one!!! read more

Started with them not calling me to book and appointment, a number of calls to get the appointment booked (they could not find my referral‍ and it magically appeared)! I have been going to AIC for about 10 years. I have had MRI's, CAT scans and ordinary X-rays depending upon doctor's orders. I have never experienced any of the problems reported by several of the reviewers. Appointments are easily made on the telephone and are always honored, usually within 15 minutes. I try to get a printed copy of the imaging order and hand carry it in. I can see where the doctor faxing the order to AIC could get into trouble as they are a busy office. My latest appointment was one week ago for a hip x-ray and I got in on time and was out the door in about 20 minutes. The radiology report was fax'd to my doctor the next day. They are so much faster and easier to use than the local hospitals' radiology outpatient departments. read more

I live in Lancaster i got a referral to get an MRI done. I have stents in my heart, either way, they made me an appt to go in. when i got there they told me they needed a release form signed by the surgeon that put the stents in. They called me back 10 days later and told me they couldn't find the surgeon, i got on the phone I got his fax number in 3 calls. now I call back to give them the fax number to send the release form to be signed after being transferred and wait 5 times, I was told I needed to be transferred that's when I realized I was not going anywhere with this and I started laughing. I couldn't stop, they are so unorganized or have an ex-genius for an office manager who never taught the staff how to deal with a situation starting with the first transfer. this isn't very good. It's the worst I've ever seen. You will get it I have faith in you. You are just ignorant whoever you are running the place. read more

Do not ask them to mail your results to anyone!! I asked to have mine mailed September 7 to two doctors 1 doctor got the reading but no CD the others doctor hasn't seen any yet I also asked to have the doctors report mailed to me on the 7th NOTHING! Had an MRI tonight at 6pm and Danielle was the one doing the exam. I have severe claustrophobia and started to have a panic attack. If it were not for her incredible patience and kind heart, I truly do not think I would of made it through. She stood there with me until I stopped shaking and was able to go in and then talked to me the whole time. I cannot say enough about her patience and loving spirit. This is a new, beautiful facility. It was a real pleasure to enter and be greeted by such friendly staff. The center was also proving themselves willing to go far beyond the call of duty in giving us a tour before testing was required to ensure that we were comfortable with the MRI and so forth. The staff were extraordinarily nice, very helpful, and answered all of our questions. They completely set our mind at rest. Moreover, this is apparently the biggest and newest MRI unit that's been brought into the Valley. Overall, great experience, a definite recommendation. read more

My mother had an MRI this morning and MRI itself went smoothly. Technician was very nice. I was shocked to find out after her appointment that the office forgot her in the exam room and went to lunch PRIOR to her exam. This is unacceptable. I tried to post feedback on the company's website but to my surprise though they have testimonials listed no one can add new comments.
