I came to my appointment 30 minutes early as they insist and required. Jessica the bully got my insurance card and ID and disappeared for 23 minutes then she decided to have me come sign the paperwork so now we are past my start time for my scan. I get to the scan area and the assistant finally comes to do his menial job of asking the redundant questions and then I have to change into the gown and pants that are made for a 600 pound man. By this time it is 6:30 pm 15 minutes past my start time for the scan. I'm waiting and waiting no one comes to get me so I start yelling out can someone tell me what is going on and the assistant plays dumb and says he doesn't know. Finally at 7 pm the technician comes and doesn't apologize for being so late. He was rude. It is absolute bullshit to arrive 30 minutes early and have your appointment start an hour late yet I was there for an hour and a half before the scan actually started. This is the second time I have had a shitty experience with this place. They could have told me they were running late. They could have offered me water and they could have killed me with kindness instead of treating me like I was the one who caused their lateness. They don't care about the patient at all. Negative stars for this facility!

They wanted me to take off all of my clothes and my titanium earrings to have an MRI done. I have…read morehad about six MRIs in the last two years and I've never had to undress down to nothing nor have I had to take out my titanium earrings out the only thing I had to remove was my hearing aid. This is a magnetic scan and it can pull metals, but it does not burn you. If it burns you, you couldn't have the titanium implants that are inside your body go through an MRI machine without getting burned or injured so it doesn't make sense that this place makes you undress completely naked, I guess wear a gown. then you have to walk through a room with a whole bunch of technicians who are male and female where I'm sure they could see your bare ass from the back of the gown. Because as we all know, they don't close up in the back. It puts you in a very vulnerable situation along with severe exposure to a group of total strangers who are not doctors or a hospital. It is absolutely disgusting and horrific that they would make you undressed down to nothing for a plain image. So if you don't want to undressed and be naked, don't go to the radiology on 1818 16th St. in Bakersfield. There are other radiologist facilities that do not make you undressed completely for any kind of image taking. Stand your ground and demand that they do not do this so don't give them your business at that facility.. You should not ever have to get completely naked for a radiographic imaging ever.! I wish I could give them a negative 1,000,000.. The staff is horrible too, not friendly and they run late. There were people they're still waiting that had appointments 30 minutes before mine..

When working with pregnant women, there should always be grace, patience, empathy, and understanding. You never know what someone has gone through to get to this point in their pregnancy. Pregnancy can be difficult enough, and these appointments should be an opportunity to create a positive, memorable experience. Pregnant women are the reason this business is able to operate, and they deserve to be treated with care and respect. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing: 1. My appointment was scheduled for 10:30 AM. * I was not going to be taken back until approximately 11:00 AM. An entire 30 minutes late. Each appointment is advertised as being 30 minutes total per the booking app. If the appointment before mine wanted an hour-long service, two appointments should have been scheduled accordingly rather than allowing it to interfere with the appointment that followed. 2. There was no acknowledgment or accommodation for the delay. * Even after I mentioned that I had been waiting an entire appointment time, there was no apology, acknowledgment, or attempt to make the situation right. There was also no accountability for the delay, which I found very careless and disappointing. 3. The package I selected was changed without clearly explaining what was happening. * I was asked if I wanted to "add" a stuffed animal. What was not explained to me was that this would involve changing the entire package I had originally selected to a different package that already included a stuffed animal. I specifically chose the original package because of what it offered and was completely willing to pay the additional fee for the stuffed animal. I should have been clearly informed before my package was changed. 4. The timing of the appointment was especially frustrating. * Around 10:45 AM, the ultrasound tech came out to collect my payment and then went back into the room with the family from the previous appointment to continue their session. Meanwhile, my family and I were still waiting. At that point, I was prepared to continue with the appointment because I had already brought my family there and they had been waiting for 30 minutes. However, after discussing it with my family, we all agreed that canceling was the best decision. If this was the experience we were having before the appointment even started, we were concerned that the remainder of the appointment would feel uncomfortable rather than exciting or special. I truly hope this feedback is taken seriously. Pregnancy is such a significant time in a person's life, and these appointments should leave families feeling excited, cared for, and valued, not frustrated and disappointed. Maybe some type of training should be done.

My wife was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer and Dr. Foulad was so kind when he explained it to us. He had tissues for my wife, gave her a moment to process everything, answered all of my many many questions and left us walking out feeling like things were going to be alright. They got her started on treatment shortly after the diagnosis. We went through a meeting with the RN Susanna Bell who's a life saver to say the least. She explained everything we could expect during chemo and how to try to make it as easy as possible. Dr. Patel was amazing as well. He went over everything with us and met regularly to keep us informed on how things were going. She got through chemo thanks to the wonderful staff and Dr. Foulad even came to my wife's surgery at Cedar Sinai as he has operating rights there so he was in the OR with her surgeon assisting and giving her peace of mind that her original doctor was there. While the journey isn't over yet, the worst of it is over and it's been bearable thanks to the wonderful people at CBCC.

The last time I had surgery was when I was giving birth to my youngest who is now 20yrs old and that c-section kicked my butt. When I was brought to the back, I was greeted by several people to confirm my surgery to make sure I was the right patient and to verify what surgery was being done. This is protocol at hospitals and surgery centers to preventive errors. By the time I was brought to the surgery room I was having anxiety at this point. If it wasn't for the amazing staff at MSC I would have backed down. I was so shaken up, I asked the nurse in the surgery room if she was able to please hold my hand and without hesitation she was happy to hold my hand and then the other nurse came around the other side to hold my hand and after that I didn't remember anything. The anesthesiologist walked me thru and was talking me thru the process til I fell asleep and if it wasn't for the anesthesiologist and the 2 ladies, I probably would have backed down. I wish I remembered the ladies names to give them some praise and acknowledgement, but I was so nervous at the time I forgot. I have worked at medical facilities and I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and empathy. MSC is above standard and if you're going to have surgery here then you should know that you'll be taken care of. Staff is amazing. No one looks forward to surgeries/procedures, but MSC makes you feel at ease. I recommend this surgery center and I hope your visit is as successful as possible!
