I recently had surgery here at MSC and was pretty close to backing down since I'm not a person who visits the hospital bed often. The last time I had surgery was when I was giving birth to my youngest who is now 20yrs old and that c-section kicked my butt. When I was brought to the back, I was greeted by several people to confirm my surgery to make sure I was the right patient and to verify what surgery was being done. This is protocol at hospitals and surgery centers to preventive errors. By the time I was brought to the surgery room I was having anxiety at this point. If it wasn't for the amazing staff at MSC I would have backed down. I was so shaken up, I asked the nurse in the surgery room if she was able to please hold my hand and without hesitation she was happy to hold my hand and then the other nurse came around the other side to hold my hand and after that I didn't remember anything. The anesthesiologist walked me thru and was talking me thru the process til I fell asleep and if it wasn't for the anesthesiologist and the 2 ladies, I probably would have backed down. I wish I remembered the ladies names to give them some praise and acknowledgement, but I was so nervous at the time I forgot. I have worked at medical facilities and I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and empathy. MSC is above standard and if you're going to have surgery here then you should know that you'll be taken care of. Staff is amazing. No one looks forward to surgeries/procedures, but MSC makes you feel at ease. I recommend this surgery center and I hope your visit is as successful as possible! read more

Minor surgery today scheduled at MSC today. It was an easy checkin with Adianis she was friendly and professional. Super clean Comfortable waiting area.i was called back after just 5 minutes. Darlene friendly assistant came in took my BP pulse she was great and friendly. Met with Anesthesiologist and Dr Irani I was ready. This entire staff is very united and on point. I could not remember everybody's names, but I remembered Dakota and Sonia before being put under anesthesia. Everybody was so helpful and the type of care that they provided was very friendly, almost family like. They honestly cared to make sure that I was as comfortable as possible, and they took a time to explain things in detail several times. I felt so relaxed for someone about to go into surgery even afterwards they weren't very pushy to get rid of me they were all about comfort. This is a rare situation where I enter a building and EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE is on point with their job. They should all get raises. I am beyond beyond grateful. All of you are awesome!! read more

I went in to get my tubes tied. I went in at 45am was early so waited in the car at 5am the security who was patrolling the area walked to my car and walked us to the front of the building when entering the nurse at the front desk greeted us super nice and sweet not many people like that in the morning but she was on it. When getting called back the nurse who took me back seated me said thank you and good luck, and had another nurse come in check my vitals draw my line for antibiotics, and IV and she was sweet she called my sister back and was just so good to me too, anesthesiologist came and explained what was going to happen asked questions very informative then the nurse who would be helping made her laugh she was sweet too and over all the best her bedside manner is amazing I told her that too because not many people are like that in the Healthcare industry. When getting to my room to do the surgery I asked if it was okay to pray and they said yes, they stood there silent and let me pray for them and to my god. God is great I tell ya. After getting the mask on me I was talking just saying I'm ready and was out. Dont remember much on and off, just remember my sister helping me get dressed, going to the car coming home and sleeping all day, thank you all for the love and care today. Went in for a scheduled surgery, was greeted by a security officer who was kind and opened the door for me and my husband. Reception was also very polite and kind when checking me in. Every staff member I met/ interacted with was so kind, so compassionate and overall just so great. Everyone that helped with my appointment was patient and kind and caring. They made sure I was comfortable and they treated me with respect. Even when I started crying due to nerves I was hugged and had my hand held. My family has used this surgery center multiple times and each time we have had a good experience. This facility is clean and has a good size waiting room. This morning I arrived at 5:45 am so it was empty, in the afternoon it can fill up. They have a gender neutral restroom available in the waiting room. There is a coffee bar next to the reception area, I have never tried it so I can't say how it is. If you get bored waiting for someone they do have plenty of magazines. Check in is very easy and the staff up front has always been very nice. I have been very lucky to have Antoinette as my nurse on several occasions. She is friendly and caring, always explains what is going on at each step of the way. I have had other nurses and they also were very nice. read more

Upon check in we were warmly greeting and had our temperatures checked due to COVID-19. The receptionist was friendly and very helpful. They asked us to come in earlier than our appointment time which was fine. The nurse Billy was very kind. However, after my son got home he had severe throat pain. They hurt the back of his throat and damaged his tonsils. I spoke to someone there next day and although she seemed caring nothing was done to resolve the issue. read more

I had surgery this past Friday and my son today. I have had several outpatient surgeries at Millennium throughout the years. I've always liked their center and felt completely at ease when we took our son. The staff is friendly and they seem to run a tight schedule which is helpful. The nurse assisting my son post procedure was friendly and informative. My nurse called me today to follow up as well and he was a pleasure to talk to. I was going to give 5 stars and the only reason I'm not is because of their newer location. I originally went to their location on Stockdale Hwy which I feel is in a safer area. I had surgery here this morning. My first time here and the whole experience was great. The staff was amazing and made me feel comfortable the entire time. I feel bad that I don't remember everyone's names, but they were all equally great! From check-in in the reception area, to each nurse that checked on me (I think there were 3), the anesthesiologist and of course, my doctor. I'm very happy that this is where my doctor chose to have my surgery instead of in a hospital. I recently had a buccal fat removal process done at this facility. I was told by my doctor that the charge would be $500 for the surgery room and $315 for the anesthesiologist. This would be cash since my insurance does not cover a cosmetic procedure. What I had not noticed was that my doctor had put me down for a 30 min procedure. Obviously, this procedure takes more than 30 minutes. So, 2 weeks later I get a separate bill for another $450 from Millenium. When I signed into Millenium the day of my procedure, I specifically asked the girl at the front desk if there would be any more charges later. She said "No" not unless I had a medical emergency or went into a coma or such. NOWHERE in the paperwork that I signed did I see an hourly rate that I may have to pay. I spoke to a lady by the name of Corina today in billing and she said that my procedure had taken an hour and that I would have to pay the additional $450 or they would send it to collections. So if you are having a procedure done at Millennium watch out for hidden cost. I was not told I was only paying for a half an hour of surgery room time nor was I ever shown an hourly rate. Besides this the overall experience was fine, the nurses were great and the place looked clean. read more

My 5 year old daughter had surgery here Wednesday the 10th, and the whole staff and experience was amazing! Everyone was so kind, calm and helpful. They literally made my daughters surgery experience great! Nurse Cindy, and Nurse Silver (i forgot the 2 other nurses names, sorry) were both very friendly and comforting. I had surgery here in January and I will say that this place is so amazing! All of their staff was very friendly, made me feel very comfortable and even sat and talked to me while I waited for my surgeon to arrive. Second time here for my husband to have Surgery. First time went really well, this time we ran into a couple hiccups. First of all we received two consecutive phone calls from the business department asking us not to forget to bring our Co Payment. We were also told they would prefer we bring cash. They said this both times. We were somewhat offended because it's really none of their business how we choose to pay our bills. What brought this on is still a mystery to us as we hope it has nothing to do with race profiling based on our last name. Second incident was the condescending attitude from the Surgeon who's name I will refrain from mentioning out of respect for his title and quite frankly his reputation. I was told by a close source to the medical field that he has a "dull" personality. He certainly didn't let us down there. My point in mentioning this is that we are all in this together. Please treat everyone with respect and kindness. Don't assume the worst in people. It can leave a tarnish on "Your" reputation. read more

I have to say that this facility is organized, efficient, friendly, and very much concerned with the well-being of their patients. They were very professional, but at the same time, cordial and interested in giving the best service possible.
