I was fortunate that there was an opening to see him the following week. The office is quaint and cozy. I was checked in by the nice lady at the front counter. Wait room was small and every chair was filled. Took about 30 minutes to be called into one of the exam rooms. Another 15 minutes before the doctor came in. Dr. Thomas D Nelson is one Cool doctor! He immediately made me feel at ease. He took his time to answer all my questions and concerns. It was worth the wait. Been feeling much better since he took care of my foot issues. Highly recommend Dr. Nelson for your foot issues.

We love Dr. Kessler he took great care of our daughter for many years and then I went to him for some problems I was having. I needed orthotics for my tennis shoes. He scans your feet to get the right size, he is very through and explains everything that needs to be done. Beth that works at the front desk is amazing. She is on the ball for authorizations and anything related to insurance. Every time we would go in we talked and caught up what was going on with our kids. She always has a smile on her face and was upbeat and cheery. That always makes going to the doctors not so bad. We haven't had to go for awhile. But we appreciate all the great care we have received from everyone at this office.

A 10 minute visit is billed over $800 (maybe because they are tied to UCLA they get away with much higher billing and reimbursement rates). I constantly complained I felt the issue in my foot potentially from previous injury, and a car accident. He was fixated on it being plantar fasciitis... after getting a MRI $2600 plus, all he focused on we looking at the image & he said it confirmed this diagnosis, & treatment options. I asked about my large toe joint & he said it wasn't included in the MRI & if I needed it examined, I needed to make another appointment to be worked up for that as a separate issue!? Talk about money hungry!? Just bill for an intermediate or advanced exam, since I am already here!? I asked for a copy of the MRI, when I read it, it showed a fractured bone which he didn't even address!!! I sent it to my primary care who said I should have been placed in a "boot" but mind you it is now 2 months later. At no time was my MRI scan reviewed much less in its completeness! I feel this is malpractice and my ankle may now never be the same! I would not recommend this doctor

He wanted to leave in the laboring process and told my daughter to cross her legs n he'd be back. Hours later, after much suffering he returned. He also told my daughter to be quiet as she was scaring other girls there in labor. She acquired a large hematoma we suspect from holding the baby in. Also, he stitched her with no pain medicine. We also found out the pleasant surprise she could not get an epidural as she had titanium rods in her back. It was told before hand it would be no problem.. I used him when I delivered her- my daughter, so I thought it would be a special thing to use him too! SO WRONG! Such a horrible experience. And my fault. Damn Anyway our experience was dreadful and I was so disappointed. I truly do not recommend this man to deliver your child.

I am a labor and birth doula and Dr Finberg was the on call dr for my clients birth this morning. I…read morewas only in the room with him for a short amount of time and his care was very disappointing. One of the first things he said to my client was "stop screaming because you are going to scare the other women on the floor". He gave my client an unwanted episiotomy without telling her or getting her informed consent. When he was stitching her up and repairing the unnecessary episiotomy, my client said she wanted more numbing in the area. He ignored her. Then I said to him multiple times, she said she needs more numbing in the area before you proceed, he again ignored me and proceeded to stitch away. Lastly, when the father of the baby came over to cut the chord of his baby, as instructed by one of the nurses, Dr Finberg had already cut it and made an excuse that the NICU team would get upset with him if he didn't cut it. The NICU team was there and it was non emergent. The baby was not in distress and non of the NICU team had said he needed to hurry or get the baby to them immediately. These things were in the 30 minutes I was in the room with Dr Finberg and I am extremely disappointed in his care. He was rude and did not listen to the birthing women, let alone get her informed consent before he did things to her body.

As I stood outside with my 3 month old to wait for the facility next to her office, she walked outside and asked me to move my car. The parking signs clearly said that they were for both her address and the doctor next to her, so I went inside to clarify before putting my baby back in the car seat and moving my vehicle. This excuse of a woman began yelling at me, saying she's tired of "us people" taking up her parking spots (mind you this was my first time there), she literally threatened to call the police to impound my car, told me to shut up, after I clearly told her I'll move my car but only to avoid problems with her, she was disgustingly rude, stood out of her chair to intimidate me as she waved her hands and yelled "I said get out!!!". I wasn't even there for her services but if she treats bystanders with a baby like this, I can only imagine her pathetic services. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere where there are actual professionals.
