Front desk staff is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I've had three ultrasounds there and every time I have excellent service. Even my CT scan went well. The appointment side is just as great. They have friendly staff and the wait has reduced since the Old River location opened. Parking at the Sillect location can be a bit congested, but seems better with the other location now open. The actual Heart Hospital... fantastic. Nothing but excellent service from everyone I encountered. Highly recommend for your cardiology and vascular needs.

Once he came in, he checked the diagnostics results, the hospital records, and told us she needed to go to an "electrphysiologist", that there were many in town, that there would be no charge for the visit. After 2- 2.5 hrs, we left with no referral and, turns out, not even ax récord we'd been there. So we had to go back to PCP and request a referral, and now she has an appointment with another cardiologist in March. My aunt ended up in the hospital again for the same thing. I really resent the fact that he did not bother to save her a little time with a referral.

The tests for this were inconclusive but he still has a treatment for me, whereas other doctors have blown me off. Dr. Puga is polite. He listens and asks questions that make sense. His office is nice as his staff are good at communicating. Possibly the only negative might be is that it took quite awhile to get an appointment but that may have been due to everything being slow restarting from the pandemic. But I will echo what has been previously mentioned by other reviewers. The issue is with some of the administrative staff. One area where incompetence needs to be non-existent is within the department that deals with the coding and billing of insurances and all that that entails. Assumptions about whether or not an insurance company is going to approve or disapprove a particular prescription or medical procedure is not for that individual to make. In this case, one of the staff assumed that they knew that a particular insurance was going to deny, or even give push back, regarding a particular medical procedure that was ordered by the doctor, so that individual didn't even bother to push the referral forward. Rather, they assumed that they knew everything about how the insurance company was going to respond, thereby withholding the referral request and prolonging what may very well be a life-altering test. Playing God in this manner is not for any staff member to do. They are there to do a particular job without bias, as should anyone employed in any capacity in the medical community. This should be important for anyone who is seeking a provider for their medical care. This is just my experience, and everyone seeking medical care must make those decisions about whom they see for care themselves. I am simply providing a little information about my experience to help others make sound decisions for themselves.

He took my BP and hooked me up for a CT scan Diego was very professional friendly. We finished in about 10 minutes. I had a short wait before the PA Marianna came in to review Diego's readings. Marianna was very welcoming I hadn't met her before super friendly very professional, answered all of my questions and she made some recommendations which I'll follow. My checkup went great. Thanks CCI. I hope I'm that lucky when I take my clearance to the dentist next week.

I told the doctor I had a kidney stone and in addition to that my foot was also swollen to the point where I couldn't even walk on it. The doctor takes a look at my foot and says Yep it's swollen. And the conversation ended there regarding my foot. Anyone that's had a kidney stone knows that it is very painful in addition to the pain from barely being able to put weight on my foot. You would think that the doctor would offer some kind of pain relief. Instead, he let me sit there for six hours, suffering and pain when he easily could've given me something to help ease the Pain. To top it off while I was there, I hear him talking to the lady across from me that fell and hurt her harm, and he begins to listing off numerous pain medications. He can give her to help her ease the pain. I was just in disbelief But the worst thing about this encounter is I was discharged and I'm still at home. I can't walk and I have no idea what's wrong with my foot. The doctor didn't email address it. Absolutely unacceptable. Avoid this doctor at all costs.
