He does not hesitate to refer us to specialists if the need arises. He got me to a hematologist, a rheumatologist, pain management, orthopedist, and mental health. He is really good about checking on lab work and meds. I don't like going to the doctor, but from day one I have been comfortable keeping my appointments with him. I am glad he hasn't retired yet! Front desk staff is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I've had three ultrasounds there and every time I have excellent service. Even my CT scan went well. The appointment side is just as great. They have friendly staff and the wait has reduced since the Old River location opened. Parking at the Sillect location can be a bit congested, but seems better with the other location now open. The actual Heart Hospital... fantastic. Nothing but excellent service from everyone I encountered. Highly recommend for your cardiology and vascular needs.

Read this horrible experience!…read more I had an appointment at 11:30am, I arrived at 11:28am and signed in. After waiting for 20 minutes I went up to the receptionist to ask how long the wait would be because I had another appointment at 1:00pm (work meeting). She looked at the list of people signed in and said that there was 4 people ahead of me. I asked how long she thought it would be and she replied about 30-40 more minutes. I then asked why they set my appointment at 11:30am if I wouldn't be seen until 12:20-12:30pm? She said that there was some walk-ins that came in so it set them behind. I politely asked what we could do because I couldn't miss my 1pm meeting. She asked another lady for advice (possibly the office manager, middle-aged, wears glasses and shoulder length dark hair). The other lady says to the receptionist, "Well he'll have to re-schedule if he doesn't want to wait". Mind you I'm standing right in front of them. I now speak to the other lady and say that I don't mind waiting, but I had an appointment at 11:30 and the receptionist is telling me that walk-ins are ahead of me. She says (with an attitude), "Well the doctor is busy, I don't know what to tell you". Horrible way of addressing their patients. It's understandable that you may get busy or backed up, but you need to know how to address your patients in a respectable manner and you cannot have walk-ins be helped before appointments. I have found this with Dr. Bhardwaj. I never wait more than 20 minutes to be seen. I can call and be seen usually within 24 hours. All the staff are friendly and efficient. On my last visit I explained to the doctor that I will be out of health insurance in the next month. I explained I had researched my medications costs out of pocket and found one would cost me over $400 a month. True to his caring nature for his patients he helped me figure out a way to not have to miss this vital medication. Thank you Dr. Bhardwaj and staff.
