I would like to THANK Lynn & Nayelly who did my stress test. Both of them are so caring & they listen well to what you're saying & feeling while they're doing the test. They made me feel at ease knowing they are right there to help. BOTH very professionals!!! The test was fasting & after waiting when the first test was done - my sugar is getting low & I'm feeling dizzy. I approached Jessie & asked her if they have a candy dish so I can have some sugar in my system. She said due to Covid-19 they've taken away the candy dish. She asked Lynn if I can have anything since I'm still due for a second test. This awesome lady Jessie handed me her OWN NutriBar (something like that, can't remember the name) to keep me from having a very low sugar in my system. She went beyond & above of her job. I had one appointment here, and that was all I needed to know I did not want to return. I've seen offices like this before. They seem to pack patients in as if they're all given the same exact appointment time. I was told that Dr. Habib usually runs over an hour late. I understand he wants to be thorough with each patient, but it's kind of ridiculous. I read other reviews about rude front desk employees. These reviews were not wrong. I have called numerous times and all I've gotten were messages that said they will call you back within 24 hours. That's bad enough, but worse is not ever being called back. I did have a procedure at the hospital, with one of the doctors from Comprehensive Cardiology, named Dr. Banarjee. Very nice and personable man. I will not be going back to this office however. If you need to see a cardiologist, well you're not gonna find one here. I have scheduled appointments 6 months out because that is the earliest appointment. They call you THE DAY OF the appointment to reschedule because "the doctor is not in today". You would think to yourself, surely they will get me in this week, at worst case next week. Hahahah ya you thought. You're going to be scheduled ANOTHER 6 MONTHS OUT only for them to call the DAY OF AGAIN to cancel and reschedule. Currently going on 18 months trying to get in, I am already expecting another call saying the doctor is there today. Absolute nightmare of a doctors office, do not come here. read more

I saw Dr Habib. He seems knowledgeable but I have had to wait an hour and a half past my assigned time every time I see him. His assistant said this is normal for him. To me that is very disrespectful of my time. I even asked to be his first patient of the day and still waited over an hour and a half to be seen. I will not be seeing him again. read more

Dr Habib was my cardiologist from 2017 till 2024 as my doctor he advised and oversaw my health care. I had several procedures including cardioversion and Ablation these worked for a short time both were done twice. Dr Habib in 2024 advised me that I had an AV Block which means my heart stops beating and told me I needed a pacemaker. I am grateful to live in a time that my life can be saved, truly blessed by God. Habib told me two types of pacemakers were available one is placed in shoulder the other is placed in the heart leadless and can't be removed. I was devastated I was under the impression I was getting better. I walk 6 miles 4 to 5 times a week after being told I had AFIB and heart failure in 2017. I was giving a date for installation of pacemaker. I went from a 21% RF to a 53% RF I felt strong Dr Habib told me in the 30 years he was a cardiologist he had never seen a patient turn it around like that. To go from that to needing a pacemaker, I was crushed. Habib did a 14 day monitor that was attached with tape to my chest, 6 miles of walks in August in Bakersfield and the monitor would be falling off. The AV Block was diagnosed under these circumstances. I saw another cardiologist who installed a Loop this device goes under the skin and has a three year battery life, after three months, no AV Block is found. Please people get a second opinion if you need it you need it, but if you are getting stronger and you feel it, get that second opinion. Either pacemaker would have been permanent, your body grows around the machinery the leads are wired to your heart to remove is very difficult to remove, be safe. read more

It took me a year to get an appointment, because they kept on canceling on me. At one point I showed up to the office and no one was there. When I called the following day they told me my appointment was canceled because they didn't have the office open. Only problem is that they never called me to cancel.. After finally getting an apt I waited in the waiting for two hours and my 87 yr old mother is waiting for me in my car. I asked at the desk what is taking so long and they said they forgot about me. The girl Danny canceled my apt with the imaging clinic and told the clinic she would call me to let me know the apt was canceled but she never called me and I live in Mojave and the apt was in Bakersfield. Found out there was no reason for her to cancel my imaging apt and that she's not a good employee. I was wondering if she's taking edibles during work hours? After about three more similar mistakes by the office workers and them making me have to postpone my surgery two times, yes 2x!, I decided it was time to go to another cardio clinic. read more

My dad had an appointment and I was his driver. First we had trouble even finding the office because there are so many different medical buildings there they all look the same! When we walked in a lady at front desk shouted "make sure and sign the paper on the table when you walk in!" No good morning or any social skills whatsoever! They had to take our temperature due to COVID-19 and we had to have our masks on the whole time in the waiting room. The chairs were extremely uncomfortable very small and crammed together. They would have 2 chairs one direction and 2 the other to try to create some social distancing in the place. Sometimes when I have those masks on I briefly have to take it off but then I put it back on. Well I barely took it off for a few seconds and this rude lady behind the counter shouted"sir you have got to keep that mask on to be in here!" So I just got up and walked out of this prison cell( that's basically how they treat you!). I told my dad that I will be waiting out in the car until he finishes! Also I couldn't even feel any cool air in that stupid place! It was actually way better sitting in my car with windows down! All of those ladies behind the front desk are the rudest most disrespectful people I have ever encountered at any health care or medical office! They have 0 social skills they yell at people and treat people like a 5 year old child or like you are in prison! That's how I felt and I was only inside the place maybe 20 minutes! I just wanted to let everyone know how unprofessional the employees at this place are! One more thing..... they kept using the same pens over and over again when patients signed in and filled out paperwork! Talk about unsanitary! It doesn't do any good to sanitize the front counter if hundreds of different patients are all handling the same pens all day. I've had good experiences with this office, but twice now they've sent me to the hospital for an angiogram and somehow screwed up the appointment. I've been told to show up at 6:30 am, arrange for someone to cover for me at work, have my wife take off too, only to have the hospital tell me they are not expecting me. On 3/14/19 Dr Kahn, Cardiologist, performed a Venous Closure/Fast procedure on my left leg. Complications began immediately, I ended up going to ER, who was so concerned about my huge swollen leg that they did an ultrasound which showed I did not have a blood clot, and they gave me a cortisone injection in my knee as I couldn't walk due to the pain. They told me Dr. Kahn would call me on the next work day and would see me. No never happened,...so I went to see my PCP who told me I need to see Dr. Kahn. I could not get in to see him for 3 weeks, in the meantime, I sat home in a recliner with leg elevated using ice packs. Nothing helped. I could not walk... When I saw dr. Kahn, he said to take Benadryl and use heat. Which didn't help. He also prescribed water pill.... Told me that he had done hundreds of these procedures and no problem. Well, he had one, and it was me... I have cried from the pain and the terrible swelling, & had to walk with a cane. My leg looked like an elephant's leg. After several doctor appointments and no relief from the terrible swelling and pain, i made an appointment with a Vascular Vein Specialist and began seeing him for treatment on 5/17th. I am still receiving care from him to correct the problems that Dr. Kahn has caused me. I honestly believe that Dr. Kahn did this procedure for the money. Please, if anyone needs a vein procedure, see a vein specialist. This whole experience has been a terrible nightmare.... I also am going to another Cardiologist and will never ever recommend anyone to see Dr. Kahn. read more

Even 1 star is too good for this place. The front office ladies are rude. The MA's, when they do call you back are unhelpful and rude. I was supposed to have an ablation done by Dr. Habib. After I met him and with how this office treated me, I got scared and am being sent to another doctor. This place NEVER answers their phone and you have to wait all day for a call back. Now they are making me wait as long as they legally can to give me my records. They care nothing about their patients and seem to enjoy their ability to be rude and unkind, especially the MA's and front office. When I met Dr. Habib he was not caring or sympathetic. He just read my records, mumbled under his face mask, and rarely looked at me. Thank God my daughter who is a nurse was with me and got some of what he said. I've spent weeks thinking I was going to die before my surgery. This place could have cared less. read more

Dr. Habib should have his license stripped. My friend who is 34 was told he would need an ablation. Habib told him he had a 90percent chance to fix my friends issues. Fast forward to after the ablation and he's doing ten times worse. He can barely breathe and is dizzy all the time. Habib acts like my friend should be fine when my friends quality of life is horrible. Habib and his staff refuse to take ownership of their incompetence. Habib is rarely in office and his staff will hang up on you and is extremely rude. When someone is suffering they should be met with compassion and this office completely lacks that. Do not go to this man. He may look and act nice but he's completely incompetent and will screw you over along with his staff. Other people have complained of the same issues as well. The two elderly ladies were shocked and didn't say a word .One receptionist especially just glaring at everyone while smacking on gum "gross" Looks horrible smacking on that gum . No good morning .No have a nice day .A elder man walks out and says thank you to all of them not one of them responded! Receptionist are supposed to be educated and friendly -not in this case . Where was the education the manners ?
