I came to my appointment 30 minutes early as they insist and required. Jessica the bully got my insurance card and ID and disappeared for 23 minutes then she decided to have me come sign the paperwork so now we are past my start time for my scan. I get to the scan area and the assistant finally comes to do his menial job of asking the redundant questions and then I have to change into the gown and pants that are made for a 600 pound man. By this time it is 6:30 pm 15 minutes past my start time for the scan. I'm waiting and waiting no one comes to get me so I start yelling out can someone tell me what is going on and the assistant plays dumb and says he doesn't know. Finally at 7 pm the technician comes and doesn't apologize for being so late. He was rude. It is absolute bullshit to arrive 30 minutes early and have your appointment start an hour late yet I was there for an hour and a half before the scan actually started. This is the second time I have had a shitty experience with this place. They could have told me they were running late. They could have offered me water and they could have killed me with kindness instead of treating me like I was the one who caused their lateness. They don't care about the patient at all. Negative stars for this facility!

From patient care, to their daily duties. It was nice with no TVs on in the waiting areas this time. While I wish I could skip the check in process, I know that the consistency in application helps the staff and the patient. The only thing I could recommend is that they make so minor repairs to a few things, like the blinds and the restroom could use some repairs.

My wife was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer and Dr. Foulad was so kind when he explained it to us. He had tissues for my wife, gave her a moment to process everything, answered all of my many many questions and left us walking out feeling like things were going to be alright. They got her started on treatment shortly after the diagnosis. We went through a meeting with the RN Susanna Bell who's a life saver to say the least. She explained everything we could expect during chemo and how to try to make it as easy as possible. Dr. Patel was amazing as well. He went over everything with us and met regularly to keep us informed on how things were going. She got through chemo thanks to the wonderful staff and Dr. Foulad even came to my wife's surgery at Cedar Sinai as he has operating rights there so he was in the OR with her surgeon assisting and giving her peace of mind that her original doctor was there. While the journey isn't over yet, the worst of it is over and it's been bearable thanks to the wonderful people at CBCC.

The Doctors that are good are retired or too busy to get an appointment with. I have seen a few…read morehere and the most recently one Radiation Oncologist and a Med Oncologist. Go out of town or go to AIS or anywhere but here. I would have been at stage 0 or 1 if my Doctor cared enough to listen to me or order a CT or biopsy when I had a small nodule. Unfortunately I waited until my symptoms were worse and asked for a second opinion a few months later by then the nodule became a large mass . A month after had metastasized to lymph nodes and by then I was beyond pissed because now it can no longer be treated by surgery or radiation and bumped me to stage 3. I decide to get a second opinion on the cancer and go to an actual NCI out of town and they look at the last PET scan and they said so CBCC missed another lesion so another metastasis!!! Now making me a stage 4a. If you care about your health or your family member, please find better care. The worst Doctor here is Ravi Patel because he is unprofessional, negligent, pompous, arrogant, dismissive, and incompetent. Hopefully he will retire once this merger is complete and stop hurting patients and their families.

They wanted me to take off all of my clothes and my titanium earrings to have an MRI done. I have…read morehad about six MRIs in the last two years and I've never had to undress down to nothing nor have I had to take out my titanium earrings out the only thing I had to remove was my hearing aid. This is a magnetic scan and it can pull metals, but it does not burn you. If it burns you, you couldn't have the titanium implants that are inside your body go through an MRI machine without getting burned or injured so it doesn't make sense that this place makes you undress completely naked, I guess wear a gown. then you have to walk through a room with a whole bunch of technicians who are male and female where I'm sure they could see your bare ass from the back of the gown. Because as we all know, they don't close up in the back. It puts you in a very vulnerable situation along with severe exposure to a group of total strangers who are not doctors or a hospital. It is absolutely disgusting and horrific that they would make you undressed down to nothing for a plain image. So if you don't want to undressed and be naked, don't go to the radiology on 1818 16th St. in Bakersfield. There are other radiologist facilities that do not make you undressed completely for any kind of image taking. Stand your ground and demand that they do not do this so don't give them your business at that facility.. You should not ever have to get completely naked for a radiographic imaging ever.! I wish I could give them a negative 1,000,000.. The staff is horrible too, not friendly and they run late. There were people they're still waiting that had appointments 30 minutes before mine..

The location is fabulous because it is low key and offers plenty of parking. The people working are also very kind, friendly and professional. They helped and answered all of my dad's questions and made the whole process simple for him. They also offer a very nice waiting area and it is very clean. Also adding that this location is open late for those of us that work during the day. Very good people working at this location. Thank you.

The doctor wanted to make sure there wasn't any other damage missed by the X-rays. The first place we tried an MRI it had a small machine so it's scary for a first time patient. This machine is big and doesn't seem so confined. It was a success we got the necessary pictures. Monica you are amazing and we appreciate you so much.

Despite confirming multiple times--both with the doctor and the receptionist--that our prescription needed to go to the Walgreens on Gosford because Costco was closed, it was still sent to the wrong location (CVS on Panama). Mistakes happen, but given how quiet the office was, this felt like a total lack of effort and care for the patient experience. We will be seeking care elsewhere moving forward.

They took my daughter in the back pretty quickly, and she was back out in less than 20 minutes. The front receptionist did inform us that the x-ray technician had just left, but I still wanted to see if this Dr would be able to help my daughter. My daughter said the Dr was nice, but that the Dr didn't know what was wrong and just offered pain relief. Maybe it is the reason we went to urgent care that urgent care couldn't help us, im sure they did the best they could, which I still appreciate.

Each time I have visited, it's always been a gentleman that has done our X-rays and every time he has saw any of us, he was very pleasant and professional. Service is always quick and once everything is done, we usually walk back over to Mohawk Medical Group and they already have our information. This place is located in the same area as Mohawk Medical Group, but it's a building over. I have never saw their lobby busy and the wait time before being called back has never been more than 20min. The building is clean and the staff is pleasant. I would definitely love to come back if they send us here for X-rays.

When I was leaving, he rushed over demanding a $20 copay. I explained that my deductible and out-of-pocket maximum had already been met, so I did not owe a copay. Even after I verified this with my insurance, he continued yelling and instructed the staff not to let me leave until I paid. His behavior became so aggressive that I felt frightened and ran out of the office. Although my procedure had been fully approved, I never returned because of how I was treated. They called me everyday for almost a month asking me to go back in to have my procedure done. I also never received a bill which showed I did not owe them the $20 they were demanding. This happened some time ago, so I hope things have improved since then.
