I prefer a pretty chocolate dense red velvet but this was delivered well.

The pink velvet had great flavor but the chocolate cake was lacking severely in flavor. Would not come back. Ambiance was okay? Nothing notable, was clean.

I think we went on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy. There was almost a line out the door, but it moved pretty quickly and we were able to find somewhere to sit. For drinks, we got the Espresso Martini, Thin Mint Martini, Caramel Mudslide Drunken Shake, and Tiramisu Drunken Shake. My favorite was definitely the Thin Mint Martini! Everything we tried was on the sweeter side, so just something to keep in mind if you prefer less sweet drinks. For dessert, we got the Birthday Cake, Carrot Cake, Chocolate Mousse Tart, and a Cannoli. Everything was delicious! The Birthday Cake and Carrot Cake were especially cute, and I loved that the cakes were smaller portions, perfect for sharing and trying a few different desserts. Overall, such a cute late-night spot for drinks and dessert!

Service: The line for the desserts moved really fast. We had a lovely interaction with Jason (who was probably one of owners), about how his grandmother, Carmella, was from Philadelphia. Made the visit just a bit more special!

I also was able to get the ice cream in a cup with a cone on top, which is something I always request for as a clumsy ice cream lover. The inside is well lit and had plenty of seating. We dined in and enjoyed our ice cream. It was pretty packed when we entered with a line to order with no free tables, and by the time we were able to order/sample ice creams there was two tables open! I was looking for a place near the event to do a neighborhood tie in and they made me 7 dozen mini cupcakes. I sent an inquiry and we worked out the details over email. I initially was going to get a few dozen regular sized cupcakes, but Christen suggested the mini's for bite sized snacking in a mingling... setting which was perfect. We set a pickup time and I went to grab them just before my event. Christen had them ready and greeted me at the door. She actually does all the baking off site at a commercial kitchen and then offers pickup from her beautiful home downtown. I love this old school way of doing business and it adds a personal touch. Now for the cakes! Everyone was raving about them and asking where they came from... even people who said they don't even like chocolate cake (weirdos if you ask me). I lucked out because my guests had restraint and didn't devour every last mini cupcake so I took home about a dozen of them and enjoyed all of them with zero judgement from the party goers. I can't wait to try a whole cake from this place... it's gonna be amazing.
