I passed by three ice cream shops to get to this one lol I picked this place because of its high ratings. The place was huge with lots of seating. The ice cream here was definitely pricier than other spots i went to that week. (Went to 3 ice cream shops within the week) The ice cream was great. Staff were great. They did greet you as soon as you walk in which I love! A good experience overall.
Excellent quality ice cream with unique flavors. You can't go wrong with anything you choose there. It's a great late night dessert spot or on a hot day. We came on a Saturday night around 9pm and there was a line at the door but it moved quickly.
A great addition to Charleston and especially good on hot days! A great variety of vegan and regular ice creams. My favorite is pistachio, creamy and nutty flavor. They also offer a military and first responders discount here. My girls love this place!
A bit busy, but I think that is what is expected. The line moves quickly, so don't be deterred if the line is out the door (it will be). The menu is gf friendly, with anything with gluten marked with a "W". They even have gf sugar cones which, I think are better than "regular" ones. Had a single scoop, half and half, of the oat milk cookie and coconut cold brew honeycomb. The oat milk was easily the best ice cream (and it's vegan!) I've had in this decade. Looking forward to coming back again the next time I'm in town!
Came in to try some ice cream. Ended up getting a Cookie Monster and a waffle cone, the vegan version. 4/5. Got a fudge brownie. Very heavy, very rich. It's definitely a good brownie, and I gave it a 4/5. The location is very unique and had a really good experience.
We stopped by Off Track Ice Cream while walking around near King Street and it definitely lived up to the hype. I had heard it was one of the best ice cream spots in Charleston, so we had to try it--and it did not disappoint! They have a huge variety of ice cream flavors and tons of fun toppings you can add, like whipped cream, pretzels, sprinkles, almonds, and more. We ordered the chocolate fudgy brownie ice cream and added pretzels on top, which gave it the perfect sweet-and-salty combination! Everything tasted delicious, and it was the perfect treat while exploring the area. If you're walking around King Street and craving ice cream, this spot is definitely worth stopping by!
Great tasty vegan dessert options!! It's hard to find a good place that has dairy free dessert. Love the area of town too close to the college
I love the vibe of this place & it is in an amazing area! The service was amazing and they were so friendly! I personally made the mistake of getting a vegan flavor that I did not love, but my fiance got strawberry and his was amazing! The only thing I didn't love was that I felt a little rushed when it came time to order, and I wasn't quite sure what they offered, but... We will definitely be back!
Great place for clean ingredient and vegan ice cream options. I tried the brown sugar oat milk and cookies and it was great. Very clean place and welcoming staff.
My first time trying this location and while the interior was cute and the staff were friendly, I thought a little over $11 for a milkshake was a tad much. Despite this, the milkshake was very filling and the chocolate fudge brownie flavor was delicious for any chocolate lover.
Our friend recommended this place since they seem to accommodate different types of allergies and seems like they have a healthier approach to ice cream. It was pretty busy and seems to stay quite busy from what I hear. Very cute place and friendly staff! We gave it a try and got the flight so we had a few different varieties - dairy free, gluten free etc. While I do appreciate what they do here, I personally didn't love the ice cream. I think the only one I enjoyed out of the flight was the chocolate chip cookie dough bc it was made more traditional. I felt the vegan and gf ones didn't have a lot of flavor and wasn't as pleasant. However I do know that this is more of just a preference and I do not want to rate this place lower just because it's not my style. I think they use quality ingredients and do offer many healthy options if you're craving something sweet.
Really good ice cream flavors, staff is friendly and the place is clean. I definitely recommend coming here for your sweet tooth and trying as much as you can.

Cute and exclusive ice cream shop!! So many vegan options (not vegan, but my friends are lactose so this was such a treat to get ice cream with them). I think I got the key lime, but everything I sampled was delicious. From the brown sugar oat milk and cookies to the fluffernutter blondies, amazing. The staff was very kind and happy to allow us to sample some flavours before ordering. Very easy experience. I also was able to get the ice cream in a cup with a cone on top, which is something I always request for as a clumsy ice cream lover. The inside is well lit and had plenty of seating. We dined in and enjoyed our ice cream. It was pretty packed when we entered with a line to order with no free tables, and by the time we were able to order/sample ice creams there was two tables open! Very popular and inclusive spot for delicious ice cream! read more

Hi Kimberly,…
One of the best icecream shops in Charleston, and off of King! I came by around 8pm on a Thursday, and the service was super fast, and there was a fair amount of seating available. The staff was very friendly and everything was delicious. I got a single scoop of the Brown sugar oat milk and cookies flavor, and it was a good portion for $7 (after tip and tax). I love that offtrack has a good variety of vegan options and can accommodate to some allergies. read more

Workers were super nice. Got the ice cream flight with 2 vegan and 2 non vegan flavors. If you're not vegan I wouldn't suggest the vegan ice cream the consistency just wasn't as good. Still great ice cream overall though and loved the variety! Location is just off king street and easy to find, not easy to park. read more

Found this ice cream place on google and pretty impressed with the good clean local ingredients of their ice creams! The flavor of the ice creams is so fresh and delicious! We came at the right time before all the crowd and the service was pretty fast. We can also see the action in their kitchen since they have glass window over their kitchen area, pretty neat place and spacey if you want to sit inside. This is the best place to get ice cream if you are in downtown area! read more

My husband and I split a cone with chocolate chip cookie dough and both of us agreed it was some of the best ice cream we've ever had. You can really taste the difference in the quality of the ingredients, which are all natural and without additives or artificial flavorings. With ample dairy and vegan flavors, most anyone can find a great option at Off Track. A short walk from King Street, the line may appear long but don't let it defer you - the staff keep the line moving, and the ice cream is more than worth the wait. Can't wait to return next time I'm in Charleston! read more

I came back today because I needed something cold and creamy, and the milkshake was made correctly this time! It was very milkshake-y, and I tried a flavor I wasn't offered a few days ago--nutterbutter or something. It made for a very good vegan milkshake, so I'm updating this to five stars! read more

I never leave yelp reviews but I have been coming here for over a year. Tonight is probably my last time. I came in 15 minutes before closing so out of politeness apologized for coming in late. The brunette girl working was upset and just frowned and shrugged ignoring me. She then gave me probably the smallest portion I've seen in my life. I honestly feel totally cheated to have paid over $10 for these two scoops. Really disappointed and bummed. read more

We got the ice cream flight, which was perfect for splitting for two people. The line was long but moved quick. The shop is cute but there's not enough seating for how popular it is. (But that's a testament to how popular it is) The flight is a half scoop of four different flavors, and was very yummy. read more

Hi Jasmyne,…
I popped in on a Friday night and this place was super busy! Maybe it's because I'm from the Northeast but I was shocked to see how dressed up people were at an ice cream shop... although I'm sure they were in the area for more than just ice cream. The vibes were nice and the place was pretty big, with lots of seating. I sampled a few flavors and decided to go with the Brown Sugar Oat Milk & Cookies, which was one of their vegan flavors. At first I wasn't sure if I was totally sold, but the more I ate it, the more I liked it. The cone was especially delicious. No complaints! read more
