I questioned (a few times) why my "notes from my visit" kept saying my "weight" was discussed. I mean I had lost 60 lbs and weight had never, ever been discussed. His nurse called and put him on the phone with me and this guy become so defensive and rude and all but called me a lier even tho I was quite polite w him. When I sent him a screenshot he did not call me back and apologize as he said he would. I got a half-assed apology a few days later in an email saying it was not seen on his end. BUT he wrote me up on my Medical records (IN ALL CAPS) for all to see as if I was somehow in the wrong for questioning why it was never discussed as a health issue, obviously to cover his own ass. Dr Murray is the best doctor in town. I work in medicine and went to him because my patients kept telling me how great he was. They were not wrong! He always takes time with my husband and I to listen and explain things. He doesn't try to rush us out the door. He is kind and extremely intelligent. He has worked in several specialties which makes him knowledgeable in many areas of medicine. It's so great to have a primary care doctor that we trust. The first time I write a review for this doctor was ahead request because he had gotten a bad review from a customer that he apparently had never seen. After not seeing this doctor for over two years due to a lot of things one of the most important things is not be able to fill out FMLA paperwork correctly, as well as being charged for it even though I have AHCCCS and it should have been a office visit? I am very confused by that. But I remember my last actual visit with the doctor very clearly because it was a very disturbing visit. I came in because I have not slept very well and then I am very tired during the day so I asked him about what was going on and the only thing that he could tell me was that I am an adult and I should be powering through the nap I shouldn't be sleeping during the day that was my problem, and this was an ongoing issue for many years since I was 18 years old so I was very upset with the fact that he treated something so import like it was not a big deal. So please be very cautious when seeing this doctor, when I first started seeing him he actually cared. Now it seems through the years he just doesn't care. I think for this doctor it might be a really great wake up call and a reminder if he got really sick and someone didn't care for him. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Murray for a year and a half and he has been very caring. Always listens and takes the time with me. He is an excellent Dr. and his assistant Peggy is great. I saw Dr. Kermit Murray for knee pain and an eye issue. I was provided some of the worst medical guidance I have ever received. First, the doctor gave me instruction that was not only wrong, but so comically wrong that it has become a running joke. Were someone to follow that advice, they would not only create knee pain, but would likely hurt other parts of their body as well. Thankfully, I sought better medical advice and was able to successfully rehab the issue with no recurring problems. Dr. Murray completely avoided any attempt to figure out what was wrong with my eye and referred me to a specialist. Upon paying my 90 dollar copay there and waiting 3 hours, the eye doctor told me that the issue was textbook standard aging that any doctor would be aware of and was surprised that I was referred to the office at all. In sum, I spent a good chunk of money and time for medical advice that was not only substandard, but so bad that it is literally a joke and shocking to other professionals. That being said, the staff at the facility are quite pleasant and, aside from charging me the wrong amount for my co pay, seemed to do a good job. They were even quite polite and professional when I brought this issue up with them. However, office policy prevents them from addressing customer complaints in any meaningful way, which is why I have to resort to reviews to encourage change at this office. read more

Dr. Murray has been our primary care doctor for 10 years! He is knowledgable and easy to talk to. His nurse Peggy is awesome and gets right back to us. We never have to wait to get in, either for an appointment or at office. He's a five star doctor to us! read more

Dr. Murray has been my ppo for quite awhile and he is always putting the patient first. When I go in he makes sure to go over my overall health and the reason I come in to make sure he is treating all the issues I am having. This doctor seems more interested in complaining about the healthcare system and what he can and can't do than really solving your health issues. He interrupts you and doesn't really listen. He compares you to other patients instead. He doesn't run necessary, basic tests in my opinion. And if you ask for one...he says you have to make another appt so he can bill the visit differently. If you challenge him he'll just say...well you'll probably get stuck with a huge bill. Just bizarre and strange. He hands out referrals instead of diagnosing you. I even called to get a flu shot and they said they didn't have time for that...just go to your local pharmacy. Very poor. read more

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Murray. He is a great listener, compassionate, patient and so easy to talk to. Its not hard to get an appointment and wait times are very reasonable. The staff in this office are awesome. Friendly, helpful and go above and beyond to help you. When you call with a problem, they ALWAYS call back promptly and show genuine concern. We love this office staff, esp. Peggy and others whose names I don't know. We trust DR. Murray completely. read more
