Dr. Wolfson has been my doctor since I "graduated" from a pediatrician, so approximately 12 years…read more I went to him because that's where my parents go, and I was so young I just didn't know how to shop around for a doctor that's a good fit for you. Now I'm older, and I'm looking around for someone who better meets my needs. Let me start off by saying this... Dr. Wolfson is a good doctor. He's experienced, is part of a good practice, and is very competent. My review comes down to his personal style, which will hopefully be helpful to you in determining if he'll be a good match for you. I personally find Dr. Wolfson to be very conservative, usually taking a "wait and see" type approach to most things. He is very matter of fact, which sometimes comes across as poor bedside manner. I never particularly felt comfortable with him, but that may just have been a "chemistry" thing (in the doctor/patient sort of way)... As a woman, I think I would have been more comfortable with another woman (which is who I'm looking for now). I'll add that his practice is fairly good at getting appointments in same day, and I've had good experiences with the nurse practitioners there. If you like someone who is very matter-of-fact and doesn't need a lot of "fluff", Dr. Wolfson might be a good match for you. If you like more discussion and proactivity, you might try someone else.

This review is a piggyback off of Kate L…read more She is correct in the sense he is very matter of fact. I have only see him once so I cannot say much else other than what I have experienced thus far. The practice is great and I can say if you don't see a Dr b/c they are unavailable, their nurse practitioners are amazing. You may prefer this depending on what you need to get checked out. Dr. Wolfson was the one to deliver the news that I was pregnant. Literally the conversation over the phone was "Hi Amanda. So, you're pregnant". Funny when I really think about it. He did ask me if I knew my options since it was a surprise, but he didn't need to go much further than that. He also did ask if I was ok when he dropped the news on me. Dr. Wolfson is experienced and is knowledgeable. I say that's enough to stick around as his patient. I am not sure how he is as far as his treatment style [old vs new] but I was overall a happy patient. If I compare him to another doctor I went to when I was searching, Dr. Wolfson was 8 out of 10. The previous doctor I saw, a measly 2 out of 10. Dr. Wolfson does care, he is just short and to the point. Since my happy news visit, I have been in to see the NP for a lovely cough (bronchitis) and I love her, her name is Bether. Very thorough. Hope this helps.

This place is truly a slice of the twilight zone. Absolutely…read morecreepy. They gave my info to another company, P3, and that company called me endlessly, in a tirade that was so abusive that I had to threaten them with legal action. MHC never gave me a rational explanation. No one in this company will ever take responsibility for their actions. There were numerous violations of my privacy from MHC, despite very firm boundaries on my part. They continually called me, harassing me to schedule appointments. They didn't defer to the practitioner. Greg Cook, the nurse practitioner I saw, didn't believe I had asthma, but as I told him, no other diagnosis would explain my condition. When the inhaler performed and it was apparent that I did have asthma, he failed to recommend an RSV or pneumococcal vaccine. I later contracted RSV and ended up unconscious on the floor 6 or 7 times. During one of those episodes, I broke my ankle, requiring multiple surgeries. To not recommend appropriate vaccines to someone with asthma demonstrates absolute incompetence. What a horrible practitioner. And I will attest to my own experience with nurse practitioners, that they don't possess the competence of MD's and that they are usually much more defensive when confronted on issues of competence. If you want to practice medicine, get a medical degree. What an absolutely horrible place!

First. I have been a patient of Dr. Iveson for many years and LOVED her. Very caring, knowledgeable…read moreand felt like I was going to a friend. Unfortunately, she moved her office and is now part of TMC One and things are not the same. As my primary physician, I visit for annual physicals and the things that pop up from time to time. My specialists take care of my diabetes control and related concerns. In mid 2015 I scheduled my annual physical and waited several week to be fit in to the fray and was given an appointment in June. Days before this appointment I started having strange stomach issues and they resulted in an emergency room visit. Happily, I knew I was vising Dr. Iveson within a few days, and would be able to discuss it. Once at the appointment Dr. Iveson told me she did not have time in her 15-minute increment based schedule to address my current issue and the physical I had waited so long for. Instead, she said I needed to choose what I wanted to talk to her about. While I should have walked out then, I stayed, concerned with what was going on with my stomach and shocked I would have to choose. I left, rescheduling my Physical for the next available appointment, in DECEMBER. Just this morning I was heading into my appointment scheduled for 9:30a. As I was driving in, I encountered a traffic stoppage on Houghton Road, the only direct corridor into town from Corona de Tucson. I called the office 40 minutes ahead of time to let them know that I may be 10-15 minutes late for my appointment. The very nice receptionist put me on hold saying she needed to talk to Dr. Iveson. When she returned, she said that Dr. Iveson didn't want to "short change" my 30 minute physical by fifteen minutes and felt it may be best for me to reschedule. Again, married to her fifteen minute increment plan rather than shifting a waitng patient ahead of me and letting me fill in when I arrive. Now, I was late, and I fully accept this. I also understand that the keeping the schedule benefits the following patients. Even though a waiting patient my have been happy to go ahead of me in my temporary absence. And while this may seem on the surface that she is concerned about "my" care and wanting me to have my full time with her, the recent track record shows a complete dedication to her fifteen minute "herding" of patients. It is a true shame that Dr. Iveson is more concerned with the mighty dollar and keeping the herd moving than she is with taking the time to work with the patients. I reluctantly dissolved my patient relationship with Dr. Iveson this morning. It is a true shame. I have been a true fan.
