He is very through in describing your test/ lab results as well as explaining different treatment paths and why he thinks one path is the best. Recently I was out in a new medication and when I started having negative side effects I was able to message Dr Maxwell through their patient portal and he messaged me back the same day and had a new prescription ready for me soon after that. I can't recommend Dr Maxwell high enough!!!

BUT he wrote me up on my Medical records (IN ALL CAPS) for all to see as if I was somehow in the wrong for questioning why it was never discussed as a health issue, obviously to cover his own ass. I had been going to this place for years, seeing an np usually just once per year due to a…read moreprescription that I am on. Recently cvs contacted me because the foothills office was non responsive for an RX they were trying to refill. I called the foothills office and was told that my np left over 2 months ago (I was never notified). I said fine, assign me to someone else there. They said every one of their providers had a 6-7 month wait to see them to establish care with the new provider. I said ok, but can you refill my prescription until I can get in. The office gal said no, you have to see a provider first. Horrible that existing patients are not given priority to see someone there, and I believe this would qualify as patient abandonment (ie lawsuit). I am on a drug that is critical to take. Now I am left without a provider. Called TMC One and got assigned to an np (where are all the doctors in Tucson???) but can't get in until early June (9 mos!!). In the meantime, I am left with no prescription and will probably have to get it off the black market. In summary, I plead with anyone looking for a new provider to avoid the entire Carondolet Network, they don't care about patients only the bottom line.

Shown to my room quickly and Dr. Gallo came in soon after that. (It is an absolute pet peeve of mine when I schedule an appt but I'm not seen until much later!) -Dr. Gallo was professional but extremely personable. Friendly, good sense of humor--NONE of the arrogance, uncaring attitude or rushing out the door I've experienced in the past. -My procedure (removal of stitches) could be done in the office by Dr. Gallo's staff (who were also very nice and funny) Will DEFINITELY be back and highly recommend Dr. Gallo if you are looking for a great doctor!

LISTEN TO THE REST THE REVIEWS - find a different doctor…read more I constantly had issues with, Laura (the manager) and I should have just found another PC - but I just thought "yeah they're rude, but I can deal with that because I can make appointments relatively fast". A mistake that's now cost me health, money and a lot of time. They didn't submit the proper documentation to my insurance on time - even though I called and asked multiple times - each time I was met with a rude tone, as if "we're not stupid - don't ask us again". Well, my insurance confirmed that the office ignored multiple phone calls and faxes trying to get it covered. They lied and wouldn't even try to help resolve the issue - then calling the company that she works for - they couldn't care less. They "looked into" my issues and found no problems. They wouldn't talk to my insurance or care to look at the evidence - they said "we talked with Dr Gallo's staff and everything was done properly". No, it wasn't and that's why I'm not liable for THEIR referrals - because they wouldn't submit it within the timeframe needed and lied about it. We choose professionals to do things like that because it's a complex deal understanding the processes and policies involved. They don't act professional and it's as if they enjoyed my issues - both Dr Gallo and Laura. I'm going to sue them because it's cost me months of treatment, a financial loss and countless hours of my life - not to mention the stress it's put on me. Run away - don't walk - this office is only interested in your money.
