We don't get to visit this location very often, but it is by far our favorite Coney Island. Wish they'd open up more locations on the East Side. Every time we come here the service is prompt and friendly. Orders are always 100% accurate and delicious. They have the best mozzarella sticks around. Not many places can achieve an across the table CHEESE PULLLLL quite like Kerbys. Not sure who supplies their chili for their coneys, but it is my favorite. read more

Have been going here once a week during the pandemic to get either breakfast or lunch. Food is reasonably priced and a decent amount. My favorite is the chicken lemon rice soup! Rude staff. Food is not fresh. They openly disparage their customers...surprised this place stays in business.

I tend to order more than one thing when I go out to eat because I am always hungry. But it is not okay to me if the food is not fully appetizing. The Mushroom & Swiss Burger with Onion Rings and the Chicken Yeros should have been enough to satisfy me. To start, the burger could have been much better. The mushrooms on it were barely cooked and they did not taste like real mushrooms. There was also onions on the burger (which was not mentioned in the menu) but I am good with grilled onions. Like the mushrooms, the onions were also barely cooked. The onions were still really crunchy and it did not come close to the texture of the mushrooms. The chicken yeros was not anything special to me because it was bland. It lacked flavor and seasoning. If this Kerby's Koney Island did a better job with cooking the burgers and flavoring the yeros, I would be open to coming here again. read more

I'm giving two stars because our server was very attentive; besides that, the meal was terrible. The hot dog was chewy and way over cooked. The fries were undercooked. The restaurant was practically empty and meals came out at different times. There were gnats and that was annoying AF. read more

Me my Aunt gave this place a try after a cheeseburger sounded great to both of us on the way back from a doctors appointment today. Now like 8 years ago me and my other buddy stopped here before the bar next door for some coneys and chili cheese fries and for what we paid for them then, the quality sucked and the food came out cold so we stopped going. After the bomb ass cheeseburgers and zucchini fries we had today, they might start knowing me by name I'll be hitting it up like mad! Place was super clean and spotless, waitress were awesome, complimented the owner I believe and he said don't thank me thank the cook. Gave the cook a shout out there and he seemed like he really took pride in his work, which he deserves. Bathroom was super clean like it was new and no toilet paper or crap on the ground. Went here for a late breakfast / early lunch and it was very good. Bacon was great. The "Kerby Sami" (hani) was excellent and super fresh. I went with the baby kerby and my buddy tried the full size. The difference is that the big is on 12" and baby is 7", but there is basically no difference at all. I'm happy I got the baby. I then topped it off with a coney dog, but it was just okay. Their hot dogs have skin on them or at least was more noticeable at this place (I hate skinned hotdogs). Overall very clean and good service. read more

This is a great spot for breakfast. I love their carry out because it's always fast and the food is excellent. I like the fact that they will customize my scrambled eggs. I usually like Swiss and cheddar in my eggs, which some places don't offer. The amount of food that you get is also a very good value. You'll have more than enough for one person. Their service is fast and friendly. They are always willing to give you all the condiments that you need. Even their carry out boxes are sturdier and nicer. This is a small Coney Island, but they go out of the way to make you feel special when you come in. I always make a point to stop here for breakfast when I am in the area. read more

Both Ordered breakfast which was good. Although, when getting the check noticed both breakfasts were $1.00 more (each) than stated on their menus. Asked waitress why I was being charged $1.00 more for each breakfast. She didn't know so asked. He said because price of eggs. As far as Coney Islands are concerned, this one is a great location. It is close to the expressway, right across from GM'S tech center. It is very large, almost always has enough staff to make sure you are served quickly. The wait staff is very nice and my food is always served quickly and correctly. The coney dogs are great, I like them better than National or Leo's for sure. Some other things to try are the Greek salad, chicken gyro and any of their omlettes. Coney Islands are a Detroit staple, you can get breakfast anytime and they are open late. This is a great example of what makes Coney Islands so much fun. read more

I come here quite often despite it being like 15 min away... why do you ask? Well the food is amazing just like any Coney Island place, but they have chicken Kirby melts which are delicious, like seriously the best thing on their menu. My go to is a Kirby melt meal which comes with French fries which are crispy but may lack salt compared to what you are used to (definitely healthier). The melts are amazing and come with ranch dressing, the chicken is crispy and the cheese is good but what makes it the best is the flat bread it's on; something with that combination is bound to taste good. I have also tried their hot dogs and they are good; but try the Kirby melt it's the star of their menu. Now the reason I drive 15 min each way to get to this one is I'm lazy and this is one of the few coney places with a drive thru; and the service is quick and friendly even in the drive thru interaction. read more

As far as coney islands go, I really am a fan of this one. It was pretty busy on a rainy day and the service was nice and fast. I ordered a gyro combo and was surprised how big the gyro was. The menu is pretty big, the breakfast menu looked delicious and smelled delicious based on the food some co-workers ordered. Everybody has that spot close to home, the one you go to when you don't feel like arguing about whats for dinner. This is a good spot to get something quick without settling for fast food. So if your in a pickle, stop going threw a list of places to eat and come check out Kerby's Koney Island. Kerby's offers some killer weenies slathered with chili, finely chopped onions and a line of mustard that makes you wonder how anyone could dislike a coney dog. The Kerby Melt here gives National a run for its money. The National's chicken hani from back in the day, not the current chicken hani combo that costs 10 dollars. Kerby's Melt has more then one skimpy chicken strip chopped up and thrown in a pita served with a handful of raw blanched french fries void of any seasoning. One thing you will notice here is almost every table has a waitress delivering mounds of curly fries (similar to Arbys). These fries are a must, and I couldn't imagine coming here and not getting an order. Kerbys also has some great salads. My favorite is the Greek salad minus the beets (very few things I don't like, but dirty feet is a taste I can live with out). Fresh cut lettuce, cucumbers, wedges of ripe red tomatoes, tossed with crumbled feta cheese and kalamata olives served with fresh pita bread and a personal pitcher of Kerby's own Greek dressing. On a cold day nothing beats adding a cup of their chicken lemon rice soup with oyster crackers. Another things worth mentioning is the plate of the zucchini fries. Thin strips of squash with the skin on, lightly battered and fried crisp served with ranch. Kerbys has a great menu as far as a coney goes and has more then a few ways to pair different items in a combo. I may be partial to this area and location given I've been eating in this building since I was a teenager coming here after school with my friends to eat back when it use to be a Denny's. The staff here is super friendly, the food is always up to par & I'm glad to see Kerby's Koney Island step up and fill the void in the area creating a wonderful diner for our family to visit and share memories together on the days we didn't feel like cooking. read more

This is my go to place by work for my breaks at the Tech Center. Orders are usually correct. My one complaint is that when you give your credit card in the drive-through they'll keep it for 5 to 7 minutes while they gather your order and help other customers. I would feel better if they had a register by the drive thru or even run your card and bring it back right away. read more

I eat here several times per week. I like the chili better than National. I love the marinated chicken, and breakfast is consistently good. They also have good Saganaki. This Kerby's does a better job with grilled chicken than every other restaurant I've been too, including Greek and Lebanese. The marinade has more flavor and they never overcook it or char it. You can't go wrong with a Kerby's. Most of these places are the same. They serve the same types of food: coney dogs (which are naturally delicious), Greek foods (like gyros), breakfast stuff, Kerby melts (similar to a hani from National), etc. Even though the food isn't necessarily unique, it's always prepared perfectly at this particular location. I enjoy breakfasts here. Their pancakes are effing fantastic. They have this crispy edge with a soft (not soggy) center. I also love the bacon here. It's always cooked to perfection. The one thing that really stands out for this location is the tremendous service I receive every time I visit ( which is about once or twice a week). Amanda is quite possibly the best in the biz. I have never had the wrong order. My food is always exactly the way I order it. This place is always clean too. You can't ignore that. If you are in Warren and need a coney or some chili fries, come here and ask for Amanda. You won't be sorry... I've ate at this coney island many times and always had a good experience with staff and food. I really like there gyro (which has good portion of meat), sauce and curly fries. The homerun chili bowl is really good also. The inside is always clean and has friendly staff. We just ate here for the first time this evening and had breakfast. The sausage, eggs and especially the pancakes and bacon were outstanding!!
