I still make that drive because this team is truly exceptional. From the moment I walk in, I feel respected, seen, and genuinely cared for. Molly and Val, in particular, are two of the most incredible people I've had the pleasure of knowing over the years. They are the reason I continue to come back. Their warmth, kindness, and professionalism make me feel completely safe and comfortable every single visit. Before coming here, I used to hate going to the dentist. Now, it feels like visiting people I truly enjoy seeing. We catch up, laugh, and somehow a dental appointment turns into something I actually look forward to. Molly makes me feel so relaxed that I can honestly fall asleep during my cleanings. That is how comfortable she makes me feel. I recommend this Gentle Dental location to everyone I know because of the amazing staff here. I truly believe every single person on this team deserves recognition and a raise for the care, dedication, and heart they bring to their work every day. Thank you to this entire incredible clinic and a huge, heartfelt shout out to Molly and Val for everything you do. You make all the difference.

The hygienists continue the same caring vibe, making sure you're comfortable and well taken care of. Then the dentist comes in--polite, respectful, and always with a reassuring smile. Gentle Dental is a keeper, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a dental office that treats you like family.

I have been going to Dr. Gary Cowart and his son Dr. Joshua Cowart for 24 years. These guys are so…read moregood, I brought my entire family to them for all of our dental needs. All of our dental needs were taken care of with extreme care, highly professional, and an atmosphere that would ease anyone weary or scared of going to the Dentist. When they are not working on a patient, you can sometimes hear them laughing. I have oftentimes joined in on their conversations and have laughed along with them because they foster an atmosphere that make you feel included, involved, and wanted. They actually listen to their patients!! Their whole staff actually engage with you and converse like normal people. They treat children as if they were their own! They try their hardest to make it possible for you to get the appointment date and time that you want. If you are anything like me, as soon as I leave the office until I show up for an urgent dental issue or my next cleaning appointment, I forget my appointments. Have no fear, their office will make sure that you are reminded of your appointments. And they don't remind you in a nasty way or with attitude either. They literally treat you like family and friends. Should you have an emergency, their willingness to come in to work on you is beyond phenomenal because they really care. My family and I have had cavities, crowns, and teeth cleaning done at their office. We have had mouth guards made, have been educated about the dental issues we encounter so that we understand the whole procedure so that we do not leave the office dazed and confused. Before Dr Joshua Cowart performs any action on you, he will let you know what to expect so that you are not shocked or surprise when he actually does the procedure. Rising up in my age, I recently noticed that my teeth were really sensitive to the point I thought I had a cavity or something serious was forming. Dr. Joshua Cowart talked with me and got to the root of the issue. I haven't had any issues since, nor have I had any issues with the dental work they have performed on me in 24 years. Once I cracked an upper molar before a long holiday weekend and panicked. Dr. Joshua Cowart returned my call immediately and calmed me down. Come to find out that a cracked tooth is a common occurrence and the procedure to fix it happens frequently. He then carefully explained what I could do to care for the cracked tooth until I could come into the office and have it fixed. I recall when I hung up the phone that day, I was totally at ease. Simply put, Dr Joshua Cowart's Dental Practice is great!! You will not regret going to him. Gary and Joshua KNOW what they are doing!!

If you are nervous about going to the dentist, try Kent Station Family Dentist. Dr. Amrita is calm,…read morekind, gentle, and funny; she will dissolve any anxious feelings. Procedures are quick and the team takes real time to answer questions, explain expectations, outcomes, and post-care. I have always been anxious at the dentist's office, but Dr. Amrita and team have made every one of my visits SO EASY.

Do yourself a favor and AVOID this place. Dr. "Mike" Archuleta was great, I really liked him and…read morethe dental hygienists. He has retired and many of the hygienists have left as well. First, the front desk/office staff have always been difficult. I previously wrote a bad review about the time they told me that because I had two different insurances, I could have 4 free cleanings per year (2 per insurance.) I didn't believe that because I've had 2 insurances for years and had never heard that. They scheduled another cleaning 3 months later, and actually called me to confirm that my secondary insurance would pay for it. I had a record of the call (why else would I have a 5 minute call from them?) Then, after the cleaning, they told me I'd have to pay for it out of pocket! In the end, Dr. Mike waived the fee, so I stuck with them rather than find another dentist and agreed to delete my review. The dentist has changed but the front dest staff continues their nonsense. They will change your appointment time on you. I have the text messages. I had an appointment for noon, then I got a text message reminder for 1 p.m. I called and texted but I couldn't get in touch with anyone, so I went at 1 p.m., figuring maybe they had changed my appointment for some reason. I would have preferred noon. When I came in at 1 p.m., the staff acted annoyed, saying, "You're an hour late, but we'll try to fit you in." I showed them the text message that said 1 pm, she said "We're not responsible for those." What? What do you mean? Who is responsible then? Were you "hacked?" Even seeing my screen (I'll post a screenshot), they still did not apologize. That's the level of professionalism you're dealing with here. Then, while I was in the waiting room, another man came in and they said his appointment was last week. The man argued, "No, I have the message." The man had a bit of an accent, maybe English wasn't his first language. The woman kept saying, condescendingly slowly, "Last week." She ended up saying she would try to fit him in. He never got his phone out, but I'm willing to believe he had an incorrect message just like I did. Does this go on all day? Do they never think that maybe they're the problem? Get your system figured out or at least apologize, don't blame your patients. When Dr. Mike was there, I rarely needed work done. I would get a cleaning & exam, I didn't have any pain or issues, he'd say "Everything looks good, we'll see you back in 6 months." When I first met the new dentist, she said I had to have all my fillings replaced. I asked why since everything seemed fine and Dr. Mike never mentioned an issue before. She said that because they are old, they could crack. I asked, can't I wait until they crack or there is an issue? She said no, if you do that, you could end up in a lot of pain or need a root canal. And, she said, you never know, you might not have great insurance when they crack. I scheduled the first one. And, wouldn't you know it, she cracked my tooth in the process or removing the old filling! It got infected, I had to go on antibiotics, I ended up needing a root canal, and I developed a severe lactose intolerance from the antibiotics. Luckily the lactose intolerance resolved after a few months, but all of that pain, multiple appointments, paying my copay for the root canal, and months without yogurt or cheese, all of that from something that was completely unnecessary! As I mentioned, the hygienists that I liked had all left. Maybe that's a sign that the dentist is difficult to work with, maybe it's a coincidence, but while I was having work done it sounded like the dentist made some passive-aggressive comments to the hygienist like. Maybe I misunderstood or missed the context from my angle, but she said a few things like, "Well, I'll just hold it if you're not going to hold it." I think there's a trickle down effect, a bad dentist who doesn't get along with their staff is going to lose good staff, and the patients are going to suffer. I waited a while to write this review, I wanted to find a new dentist first. Maybe things have improved. But there are plenty of other dental offices in the area, I'd recommend that you avoid this one like the plague.
