I will never visit Kenny's Westside Pub again. I came with a group of friends on a Saturday evening and they only charged cover of $5 for half of the people when we were only coming to eat. We were not served at our table and needed to order at the bar and pay immediately after ordering, even waters. I'm extremely disappointed and will let others be aware that this is not a place to visit in the downtown area. read more

This place was my favorite when I went to college in Peoria. Now whenever I visit Peoria this is the one place I must go. Their spicy Irish potato pizza is the shining star. Great atmosphere and food! Had the pork tenderloin. Sandwich was huge. No way to eat it all. Definitely 2-3 meals in one.

I ordered fish and chips which was a bad choice as the other plates looked much better. As for the service well it's a bar so don't expect much. read more

We had the worst experience with the staff at kennys. Doorman took our cover and was rude. We requested refund and he stated no refunds. We proceeded to order food and drinks at the bar and the female "bartender" was the rudest we have encountered.in Peoria. Also the other bartender insulted another group of people next to us. The bartender who had taken our.order then refused to serve us our food because we asked for the name of the.doorman and called the cops to get us to leave. Still waiting for our cover charge that they kept for our 5 minutes of being in their establishment. Never will we go back there. Go to ulrichs for burgers and fries if you are looking for good service and food. Kennys has good food but never been impressed with their service. Last time we were there the bathroom toilet was covered in puke and when we told the bartender he said great, rolled his eyes and did not go back to clean the mess for the remaining hour we were there eating. read more

I was in Peoria for a business trip. We stopped at Kenny's to have some drinks and wings. Everything was great but more importantly the staff treated us like we were regulars. I can't say enough good things about our bartenders. One of them we were calling Brady because he looks a little like him. We ended up there every night in our four nights there. read more

Great little place in Farmington Rd. The pretzel bites with cheese sauce and rueben quesadilla are a must. I've had the tenderloin, cheese soup and fish & chips. All have been prepared well. kenny's westside pub is my favorite bar in peoria. it's not a college bar. thankfully. but it still feels cool. they have pretty good drink specials based on the day of the week. for instance, on tuesdays they have $2 pbrs & long islands. the bar tenders are low key and get to know you. ask for a pretzel shot. it's fantastic. the food is good too, especially the appetizers. try the westside pretzels and the queso dippers. they are ridiculously better than your typical bar food. other menu items i can vouch for: hippie salad with grilled chicken and chipotle dressing, fish & chips, pretzel bun burgers, grilled cheese, the Irish cheese soup & the margarita pizza. you won't be disappointed. kenny's also hosts the best trivia night in peoria. having been to a few others, i can honestly say that this one feels the most creative, the most rewarding & the most communal. check it out tuesday nights at seven. but don't steal my table. read more

We like to try different places to eat and Irish pubs are some of our favorites. This was not one of them. It was a Sunday at about 1:30pm. It was not busy, but it took over an hour for our food. The food was your basic fried food void of flavor. We tried pretzel and cheese appetizer and Irish nachos appetizer. Both were nothing to mention. We tried tenderloin horseshoe and Irish stew. Hubbie liked the horseshoe. Stew was bland. The beer was cold and good so I could recommend it as a bar but not as a restaurant. The waitress was friendly. We won't be back though. Food here is consistently good and reasonably priced. If you're a Reuben fan, try their Corned Beef Quesadilla. It's a lighter option to bread and tastes amazing! They also have homemade chicken strips and great pizzas. You won't be disappointed!! read more

I was really enjoying myself the food was fantastic I had fish and chips my partner had corn beef quesadillas. Both entrées were good served hot and not terribly expensive The beers were a little expensive but the service was good-it had a nice neighborhood type bar restaurant atmosphere that I really enjoy but when the entertainment started and the girl started singing loudly and in a shrill tone it just took away from the atmosphere and I could no longer talk and be heard.This is the reason and the only reason I gave it three stars instead of four or five please at 6 o'clock on a weeknight don't ruin my peaceful evening with that terrible noise read more

I eat here at least once a week. Staff is exceptional and the food is outstanding. Every 1st Friday they have a fresh Cask of seasonal beer to go with there amazing beer selection. My wife and I stopped in last night before a concert to get a bite to eat and some beer. We ordered their salad and pretzel and mushroom appetizers. They brought us the Ruben quesadillas by mistake(we ordered the shiitake mushrooms) so I didn't complain and started eating them--wow were they awesome! Ended up getting the mushrooms later. Everything tasted great. The bar was full but the bartender was very helpful and the food and service was great. Great value--we paid 36 for everything with tip and walked away happy! read more

This is my favorite bar in Peoria, hands down. Every single thing on the menu is spectacular, but my favorite thing is the Irish potato pizza. Don't knock sauerkraut on a pizza til you've tried it!! They've got a great beer and whiskey selection and all the prices are on point too. I finally tried something other than tots this last time and had their garlic wings which were very tasty and the sauce plus the tots were a great combination. This is the nicest business this location has had. The food was good but it wasn't as good as I expected. The boyfriend had cheese soup and the Rueben burger (decent). Favorite place to eat in Peoria, no kidding. The tots with cheese dip are highly addictive (we call them "crack tots") and the corned beef quesadilla is outstanding. Blue cheese salad is crisp, fresh, and dressing has zip. It was great to visit the new location and discover that the food is every bit as good as it was before the move. First off, don't let the appearance of the outside of this place scare you off....it is very unassuming. But the food was FANTASTIC!!! I went there with three others for lunch. I had the Grilled Cheese, it had a tomato, bacon and fresh basil along with a couple different kinds of cheese. Everyone else at the table loved their food too. I will be coming back many times!! Just had a great Sunday lunch with my family after church. We were all pleasantly surprised. The staff was all super friendly, drinks were graet, atmosphere was the perfect "dive bar" but really clean. All 9 of us ordered different things and we all really enjoyed our meals. You can have Ruebens so many different ways (quesidilla, pizza, wraps, burger, sandwhich), and they were all different and yummy. Onion rings and pretzel bites were great! When for late night dinner on a Friday. It took a little while for the bar tenders to seat us and get our order but the wait was worth it. They had drink specials $3 wells and $3 domestics. We both ordered burgers and they were both a little over cooked. My burger was the Ruben burger and it was amazing! I love love loved the dipping sauce served with it and ate all of my tots just to eat more of the sauce. :) speaking of the tator tots they are also amazing! We'd go back! read more

Kenny's is a great place for a beer, some grub, and seeing some live music. They sure do know how to fry things! Their tots and pretzel bites are always fantastic and the first thing I order. I generally like the crowd that's there, but it can get a little hippy clique for me sometimes. Noise levels are fine. I like the location, but I prefer to go there on weekdays.
