Came here after a long night in Peoria from a concert. Everyone wanted bar food. From appetizers we got a flatbread of chicken bacon ranch which was good and Irish nachos/loaded fries. They needed screwing up and bring us two of Irish nachos so win. The pretzel is like nuggets to dip into cheese. 2:10 We got a order to go for drunk munchies and got a veggie wrap add chicken. I eat here often because it's close to my place. The staff is great and the service is quite good. It is good bar food. My favorites include the Portabella mushroom fries, The Reuben sandwich or wrap, The black and tan onion rings, the hamburgers and my favorite is the seasoned tater tot's so be sure and get the Irish nachos for the table! Came here after a long road trip. This was one of the only restaurants open late that wasn't fast food. We didn't have high expectations for food but we're happily surprised. Food was great and came out quick. Bartenders were nice and gave recommendations for food. Kenny's has to be the most consistent restaurant I've ever been to, even outside of Peoria. I would think their food was cooked by robots by the fact that they NEVER have an off night. Everything is delicious here: buffalo pizza, ranch rub wings, breaded portobellos, reuben quesadilla are some standouts. I recently heard a table next to us ask what was good there and the waitress said everything which seemed to frustrate the diners but it's seriously true. I recently moved to a place very near Kenny's. I stopped by on a Saturday night for something to eat. I'm not sure if the vibe is different during the day, but when I went it was about as unlike an Irish pub as you could imagine; a live, very loud hard rock band was playing. The average age was about thirty (I'm more than twice that). I ordered the fish dinner, which came with cole slaw and a choice of tots or fries. I also ordered the beer cheese soup, which was excellent. The fries were good, cole slaw average, and fish mediocre. My rocks martini was served in a very small glass, and didn't taste like a martini. I think this place would appeal most to a younger, beer-drinking, hard-rock crowd. read more

Cool place to grab a meal and listen to live bands. The menu had some yummy portobello poppers and their flatbread was pretty good. They have large flat screens placed at all viewing angles so you can eat your meal, listen to the live band, and watch them on screen. This place use to be a dirty dive bar, don't think they ever served food. Recently stopped by on the way to the jukebox comedy club and was pleasantly surprised. They did a really good job re-inventing the space. Now it's really clean and inviting. It's an Irish theme bar n grill. Staff is really nice. Drinks are good as well with some of the Irish favs. Food was also really good. Had the fried pretzels with beer/cheese dip. Cheese was good, but I prefer soft pretzels. The fried ones where nice and crunchy, but had a dusting of a ranch seasoning I didn't care for. Everything else there I enjoyed. Wings were good. Salad was big and tasty. They also have some awesome tator tots. And a Reubens pizza . All were very good. I'm not in that area much, but I stopped in the last two times I was in the area and enjoyed it. I plan on stopping in next time I'm in that area. read more

A pretty basic Irish pub. I had a really fantastic spicy Bloody Mary, even though it was an offering on the menu here. The place has a rustic feel and and live music was playing when we stopped by (what appeared to be a CCR cover band), so that was a nice addition. The service and food here was amazing. I thought it was going to be a dive bar but there is a nice sit-down dining area during dinner time. Once it gets late, they open up the room by removing a wall divider, and the dance floor/concert area is spacious. They have great chicken strips here as well as scrumptious pretzel bites. The soups/stews are okay. Sandwiches, quesadillas, and Irish fries are so-so. Great burritos, burgers, and pizza. Favorite item would have to be their Irish sausage. Service is always friendly and pretty fast. However, once you get everything, they practically vanish. Drinks are priced fairly and taste good. Kitchen is open until 4 am so it is a nice stop for a late night bite. Great music and fun, young crowd. But after midnight, be prepared because it is packed with a lot of drunks and people who are high. But hey it's in downtown Peoria, so that's everywhere. read more

I visited this establishment during a trip to Peoria, and I have come to not expect much from corner bars and restaurants like this, but it was close and open....so why not, right? Wow....our server was attentive and personable....without being a nuisance. We ordered the corned beef quesadillas for an appetizer, which were tasty....but nothing special at the same time. My food arrived shortly after finishing the quesadilla. I ordered the dip sandwich....this may be my new favorite sandwich.....the meat was flavorful, tender and a perfect amount of juiciness piled high atop a slightly crispy roll....a perfect vessel for dipping the sandwich into what was one of the best jus dips I have ever had. If it wouldn't have been wierd...and possibly detrimental to my health, I would have put in a straw and drank it straight. I will definitely be back again an d look forward to trying more items on the menu...kudos to the staff for creating one of the best meals I have had in Peoria. read more

Really liked the old location but I like the new one even more. Much better parking. Inside decor and staff are very welcoming. Great beer selection and wide variety of food options as well, from Irish dishes to salads and pizza. Love the portobello fries and chicken wings (with peanut butter sauce when it's available). Ordered all appetizers for my meal and an iced tea to drink. Mild wings had great flavor but i noticed they were not quite done. I should have realized when not steaming hot. The pretzels with cheese are something different but prefer softer pretzels. The chicken strips are amazing. I wanted a hamburger but they were out at the time cause the meat was marinating. 6pm on a Friday. Not too busy but staff seems like it's happy hour. Music sucks/doesn't exist, it's a recording of a band that played here live once upon a time and they don't actually play a song they just keep starting to play and then starting. The only positive was that the beer tasted good(had a red ale?) and the people were nice. read more

The wifey and I shared portobello mushroom fries, pretzels and cheese, Irish cheddar soup and teriyaki Parmesan wings.
