These were, without a doubt, some of the best craft beers (collectively) I've ever had. I stuck around long enough to try four of them. My buddy tried four different ones and allowed me a sip or two of each. So I had the opportunity to try eight different Industry brews, and there wasn't a bad one on the bunch. So good! Top tier brewery with enjoyable draft variety that speaks circles around my taste buds. We found a clean and ready for entertaining indoor space, had to get outside on a beautiful evening. Were well taken care of all evening, menu tempted us onto brisket Mac n cheese and I had to get the reuban. Liked the Octoberfest, red ale was too bitter for me, but that sensational pumpkin spice ale spoke mysterious and vibrant secrets all the way down. I got a growler of it to go! Can easily vote all the reasons to drop in here for sips since the Mac n cheese was wildly small. Embarrassing. What is the guy supposed to do with a small side size of Italian noodle wealth? At least my sandwich looked near right for adults, however these Illinois cities are pushing their luck with the value and taxes making Indiana look better and better. read more

Does Industry set the industry standard? I've been to Industry quite a few times but it was either for work lunches or various events so I've never been able to try their alcoholic choices until now. Emily and I were out and about and decided we needed a beer and some chill time after walking around Grand Prairie Mall all afternoon. We dropped in on a quiet Saturday afternoon and were greeted by some friendly staff. Emily and I grabbed a seat next to an open window so we could enjoy the breeze and somewhat warm temps. Emily grabbed a Pineapple Pleaser and I grabbed a Happy Hour kolsch beer. A few sips into my beer, I knew I didn't like it one bit. I've had some kolsch beers before and this one just wasn't doing it for me. Emily liked her sour and it was funny seeing the faces she made until she got used to it. After having a few sips of her drink, I get why cause it was indeed sour to the max. I did get a sample of their hefenweizen and somehow I straight up didn't like it one bit, which is weird since that's one of my go-to drinks at breweries. Nothing else looked appetizing on the beer list so I stuck with finishing off the Happy Hour and the sample of the hefenweizen. Aside from the beer, the food here is great. We didn't eat since we were still full from Weaver's but every time I've been here for a work lunch or event, the food has knocked it out of the park every single time. On top of having delicious food, they have a really nice outdoor area with axe throwing and a spot for your dogs to do their business. We did eye the merch on our way in and ended up snagging some stuff on the way our. Emily got a hoodie and I snagged a shirt. Maybe you'll see it pop up in a future review! They also have some free stickers if you are into that kind of thing. I know I snagged two for myself. I really want to love Industry Brewing and do like everything about the place outside of their beer offerings. The food was excellent, the portions are large. We had wings, which were top notch. Service was great and our server was very helpful in clarifying the menu and guiding us on the food. Beer was okay, we really liked the sour. Dogs are welcome and they have a little grass around in the patio. read more

Finally got over to Industry! I've been hearing so much buzz abi it this place- oh they have axe throwing, they have great beer, they have an outdoor area! Such a fun ambiance- loud, vibrant, and a unique place to get beers and appetizers with a group of friends! The first time I went I ordered the Cajun Chicken Sandwich that came with grilled chicken, bacon, lettuce, cheddar, & house ranch! I swapped the cheddar for swiss I got seasoned fries as my side and they were to die for with the spicy ketchup. You know I loved the food when I clear my plate The second time we went with "S'mores for 8" which comes at a hefty price of $16 and then an $8 fire pit fee. To be completely honest the ingredients for the s'mores were nothing special, just store bought stuff, wish there was a homemade graham cracker or something! Not considering the taste though, it was for the ~vibes~ and definitely a fun atmosphere and I still recommend it to others! read more

This was an unexpected experience to say the least... I came here for food with my group of friends and immediately walking out to the tables, we were verbally harassed by men. Obviously, we ignored it but I could not ignore the gross chunkies in our drinks that we assume was from an uncleaned soda machine. Our food came out and for the most part it was a decent meal, except for my friend's burger. When it came out, the waitress said "the bun will be out in 1 minute"... in what world would the bun not come out with the meal? This was confusing, but what was worse was that the bun never came out and my friend never got to eat her meal! Personally I wasn't feelin up for a burger so I went with the brisket tacos which had great texture and decent taste but was definitely missing sauce but the salsa it came with seemed good enough with it. No one came to take an order the entire time we were there. 2nd time we came to the outdoor area, an aggressive Great Dane and the 2 owners were sitting outside. I'll start by saying I love the place, the beer garden is top notch, and the beer being made here is also great. Service was lacking the wait times to get a drink, which was a little much. However, we remained patient. The food was the biggest issue, mine was cold in the center and had to be sent back, they then added another handful of cheese to an already extremely cheese filled dish it came back hot and not edible. I told our server and asked for the menu to order something else but ended up not eating. I was still charged for the dish. Most everyone in the group I was which seemed to have a complaint with the food. Hope they change this up soon. read more

I have been to Industry Brewing many times. The food and beer are always delicious. A few days ago, we were there with a group of 10. As usual, the food was great, for those of us that got it. One of our party came in a little late, after the rest of the group had already ordered. He ordered a salad, chicken chef, I think, and a beer. The red of us got our food and he waited. Our server came and asked if we needed anything and he pointed out that he never got his food. The server said she forgot to order it, and he told her to make it to go. It never came, but she gave him a bill for his 2 beers. She then said he didn't have to pay for his beer. In all fairness, the server said she had only been working there for 2-3 weeks. She should have brought him his food though. When we left, he stopped at McDonald's on his way home. read more

For this review i was joined by my Wife and Stepson. We really liked the Industrial aesthetic the old style siding and the old wood. Drinks- Stepson had a Homemade Root Beer which he says is one of the best he has ever had. Wife- Diet Coke it's diet coke nothing to crazy Me- I had "The Opener" which is a Coffee Stout and it is really good and i Love my Stouts. Apps- We got the Pretzel with Beer Cheese. This soft pretzel is served hot with that pretzel salt and a bowl of hot beer cheese. It was so good it was a pretzel sword fight getting to the Beer Cheese. This will be something we order every time, The Stepson- Mac & Cheese Breakfast Burger- Crispy panko crusted mac n cheese, quarter pound beef patty, American, fried egg, bacon, shredded lettuce, honey mustard chipotle. As this kid is terrible at describing anything I will say he loved it. The Wife- Fried Grilled Cheese- Sun-dried tomato spread, American, white bread, panko crusted and fried, served with tomato basil soup. It had a really nice crispy crust the spread was really flavorful. However she wasn't a fan of the tomato basil soup. Me- BBQ Pork Burger- Industry Split Shift BBQ pulled pork, bacon quarter pound beef patty, cheddar. This was a really solid burger and a healthy amount of pork. It was a sweet BBQ sauce which i am not the biggest fan of sweet but it is still really good. Also came with seasoned fries which were crispy and tasted great. The Damage- For the three of us with app, food , drinks was $62.10 and we have plenty of leftovers. Nothing that will break the bank and is pretty reasonable for the quality and quantity. A reboot of the former local brewery of which I wasn't a fan, Industry is doing it right. The head brewmaster has been homebrewing for years, reaching a cult-like status among the beer nerds of Peoria. With him making the beer and local restauranteur Travis Mohlenbrink leading up the food, the combo seems to be very promising. I'm not a fan of super hoppy beer, so I appreciated the menu listing the IBUs for each brew. I was blown away by both the peanut butter milk stout (on nitro, no less) and the collab stout with CxT coffee-- wow! The decor is trendy reclaimed wood with a mix of grungy skeletons-- oddly, it works. Cool vibe, great beer -- can't wait to come back! read more
