The pictures drew me in, but the atmosphere and history of the actual place blew us all away. Our service was great and the food was delicious... could not have asked for a better experience. We all to pictures ourselves, even in the restroom. Its that cool.

As others have said this place is gorgeous! Lots of history here and they did a really good job…read moreturning it into a place to eat and drink. For food...... MEH. Definitely DO NOT recommend. We got the Reuben and the Beer and Whiskey Burger. Both with sides of fries. The burger was the worst! It was definitely overcooked, and dry AF! The bottom bun was burnt. Worst of all there was no Bourbon glaze which was a bummer because it wasn't seasoned ...not one bit!! The Reuben wasn't actually bad, the thick cut corned beef was yummy but the bread was also over toasted. The fries were good as was the side of ranch for a dip. We ordered a side of pickles for the Reuben but they came when the sandwich was nearly gone and only when we reminded the waitress which didn't circle back like normal to see how we were doing and check to see if things were good. Now here's the part that was wild. There were only 2 tables 3 people at one and 2 people at the other. As others mentioned we waited almost 15 minutes after being ready to order and about 40 minutes for food to show up! OTHERS HAVE SAID THIS!! OWNERS PAY ATTENTION!! To me this seems like you couldn't care less! We didn't take pics because the food was unremarkable but I'll share pics of the building. I would skip this place for food unless you got time and money to spare as the average menu item was $16. Even the scotch eggs were $14 for 2!!!! Which we didn't get, because screw that $14 for 2 eggs? No thanks!

A lot go by and can't believe it's actually here. Trust the map apps and pull in for a few pints. Basically this is as micro as a microbrewery can get. It's pretty much run out of someone's shed. The farm is how this place gets its name, and there's a few interesting artifacts, such as equipment lying around and hanging up on the walls. As expected they only have a few beers. It's about $7 a pint. Best one we had was the Broken Spoke, which is an American pale ale. It's about $5 for pretzels. Cool thing is these are made with actual spent grains. The seating is limited but they have a patio with a few tables. For sure it's a place we would come to again. It's got pretty limited hours only being open Fridays to Sundays. This means the best time to go is weekends.

Where relaxation meets inebriation…read more I hadn't heard of this hidden gem until I was talking to a coworker about breweries and he mentioned this place. It didn't take me long to go from hearing about it to visiting. Emily and I popped in on a beautiful Friday evening after I worked a nice 7-day work stretch. I was needing a beer or two and some unwinding. We used GPS to get here because it was in the middle of Nowhere, Metamora. As we approached, we saw a ton of cars and a food truck in the parking lot. For being out of the way, this place was hopping for a Friday evening. We parked and slowly strolled towards the beer house. Once inside, we took a few minutes to look at the beer menu and pick out what we wanted. I got the Rats in the Attic (plus a sticker) and Emily got the Holla Atcha. Where you order is a small building next to a big farm house. It's small and cozy inside. Once you get your beer, you head outside to either sit in this small converted barn or sit around the property. Emily and I decided to sit outside to soak up the setting sun and enjoy the weather. There are plenty of place to sit, with each area offering a different type of view. Emily and I sat and sipped our delicious beers while debating on getting food from the food truck as we were both hungry after a long day. Plus the first beer was hitting fast and quick and we were signed up for at least two for the night. Emily got the California Steak Bowl and I got the Asian Chicken Wrap. The food truck guy said it wouldn't take too long but that we had time to get another beer. Back into the little house we went. I got another Rats in the Celler as it was hitting all the right spots. Emily switched to the Dang! It's a Good One! fruit beer. We walked back to the truck and grabbed our food and headed back to our spot. The wrap I got had some jalapeno in it and it kicked HARD. I planned to sip my beer but it ended up going down quick to soothe the burn. I tried Emily's bowl and she tried my wrap and we both agreed that we had food envy and after we had a bit of our food, we switched. The bowl was a good way to help cool my mouth down (along with the rest of my beer). As much as we wanted to get a 3rd beer, the two that we got plus the food did us in. As we were walking out, we checked out the little converted barn and it would be the perfect place to have some drinks in rainy or cold weather. There's something rustic and antique about the place that I just loved. It's only been a day since I was there but I am craving to go back ASAP. The fact that this place is a farm area turned into a brewery (but still seems to have some farm activities going on) hits all the right notes, plus having a tasty beer on tap helps a ton. It was super relaxing to just sit there and drink some good beer while having a great conversation in the middle of nowhere.

Being a waitress in my 20's, I know how a big party can be a struggle. The reason I picked Thyme was due to some dietary restrictions. Thyme serves all. I recommend Thyme for business meeting lunches and dinners. Make a reservation ahead of time so they can accommodate your needs. Love to see old buildings brought back to life, Thyme, in the old Sealtest building, sits in the warehouse district of downtown Peoria. The eclectic atmosphere is inviting. The food is traditional yet exotic, yet farm to table, yet mysterious! We eat with our eyes, then smell, then taste. Good job Thyme!

This was our second time here. The first visit went off without a hitch, food was good and service…read moreequally good. Second time coming back we brought the in-laws from our home town in Arizona. Keep in mind we are new here and excited to embrace this new city and all its food places just like this. It was a Tuesday night and they were busy, not so busy that we had to wait for a table, we got right in. The blond girl that was to be our server came to take our drink order. I was on the fence for a few items so I asked the server, "When the cooks in this place get a moment to themselves to enjoy a dish, which is it they usually get?" She assured me without a doubt it was not the burger I was comparing but the duck reuben. Being a fan of both duck and Reuben's I was like, " oh hell yeah, sign me up". So I replied I'll have the Reuben, mom got meatloaf, dad got the burger, wife got the poke bowl. We had a few drinks enjoyed each other's company and then our appetizers came, the cheese curds!! Holy smokes these were legit the star of the evening! If you go I recommend these! Our food came out after and we began to eat. This is the point it went south! The server all but vanished. Usually you can't get a bite in before your asked how is it? Well we needed silverware, napkins, salt and pepper, basic accoutrements. Nobody came. My Reuben..... BORING!! This was the smallest plate of food I've ever seen. The duck was overcooked and dry, there was not a good ratio of slaw to dressing to duck and it was lacked all the way around. I was hoping to ask for some more dressing to bring some life to it but the server never came. Mom wanted salt and pepper for her meatloaf, but the server never came. Finally I was able to get S&P from a busser! The poke bowl was kinda a joke as well, huge bowl of rice and peas and about 3 or 4 small bits of tuna. It was good but not balanced and completely underwhelming. Folks are boomers so yeah considering mom needed to help meatloaf says a lot. But still no server! Finally she came back with the bill. At which point I had to mention that this was by far the WORST Reuben I have EVER had!! She giggled. I said SERIOUSLY, that was wack AF, and you never came back to check on us so I couldn't even attempt a save by dousing it in dressing! She ignored that and disappeared, yup the shitty Reuben was still there on the bull and nobody cared! Moral of the story, you're gonna gamble here. I would love to try again but when you can get a Reuben at One World that blows it out of the water EVERYTIME for a fraction of the price I would second guess giving your money to this business. Bummer, I love the building, I love the ice cream factory throw back! And the ambience is super nice! Service and portioning need a lot more investigation. Hey owner this is your queue!! Make a positive change here.
