I had an issue with my 2007 Civic, and I wasn't sure if it was due to a worn key or the door cylinder. The key would only enter halfway into the driver side lock, but would go into the ignition (sometimes getting stuck). On top of all this, my anti-theft alarm would turn on every time I turned on the car because AAA unlocked my car from the inside. This could only be disarmed by turning the key in the driver side lock (which was broken), or through a key fob remote button (which I did not have). I gave a call to Kenny on a Sunday evening, and he responded very quickly. He was able to drive out to my car in Los Alamitos right away to diagnose the issue, which turned out to be a broken lock cylinder. Since there were multiple issues happening, he explored different solutions. I greatly appreciate that he was putting in extra work to help get me the cheapest and most practical option. He had to first disarm the alarm somehow -- he did this by taking apart the driver's side door, turning off the alarm, and putting the door back together flawlessly. That is not an easy job! He was then able to program a transponder key for me, because it was cheaper than replacing the entire lock cylinder. Cutting the new key was very fast. The key works perfectly, and also doesn't stick in the ignition anymore. I was so stressed out the past week from this issue, and I'm glad I called Kenny. He is very nice, hardworking, and honest person who actually cared about my issue. Thanks to him, I was able to make it in the office the next day without having to call off work. Stop looking and Call Kenny! After years of neglect, we finally decided to rekey my mom's house. Between the screen doors and front and back doors we had 6 keys for all the locks. Sad but true. Tired of the hassle and frustration we decided to fix things. Just like you I went on Yelp to find a locksmith. Kenny was not the first to respond, but he was the most helpful! Called me and explained the process, and explained to me that we needed the same brand of locks on all the doors, before we could rekey them all. He was willing to quote me over the phone and was very patient. So I went with him. In the day of work he was right on time, was very professional and got right to work! We had a lock on one of our doors that was broken and I reached out to several locksmiths in the area to get a quote on having it repaired. Kenny was the fastest to reply (outside of normal business hours, which was surprising since this was not an emergency), and he could come do it the next day (he actually said he could come same-day, but that didn't work for me).
