Dr. Palermo and his team at Santa Fe Endodontics were just what the doctor ordered. It was a top-notch experience. The entire team was professional, communicative, and down to earth. I have no desire to ever return (!) but if I have to, I'll be beating a path to their door. Thank you Dr. Palermo & Team!

Excellent Endodontist Who Values Patient Feedback…read more This is an update to my previous review. After reading my three-star review, Dr. Ardalan reached out to me in a sincere desire to address my concerns and to improve his services. Since then, we have exchanged several e- mails. Most impressively, Dr. Ardalan has made changes to his practice based on those aspects of my treatment that were less than ideal -- the Wave treatment, his dental assistant, and my extended and painful recovery. As examples, my Wave assistant is no longer working at his office, and he plans to create unique follow up instructions for patients with severe abscesses, like mine, given the possibility of significant pain and longer recovery time. As with the previous review, I was very happy with Dr. Ardalan's treatment before and during the root canal procedure. He was professional, skilled, kind, and let me know what he was doing before and during the root canal. His office was very attractive and his front office staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. I sincerely appreciated Dr. Ardalan's willing ness to squeeze me in on a holiday week and his responsiveness to my calls to his emergency phone line. Most of all, I am impressed with Dr. Ardalan's willingness to reach out to me in his desire to better understand what went "wrong" during my treatment, to learn from it, and to improve upon it. All in all, Dr. Ardalan is a very unique health care practitioner who strives to provide his patients with a safe and caring environment, as well as, effective and painless procedures.

About two years ago Dr. Rufo ,who is not at this office any longer, talked me into changing a good crown because I had some gum recession. He also placed two small fillings for the same reason. I had the crown adjusted several times and endured severe pain for 3 months. My whole face ached and he explained that I had irritated a ligament in my jaw. I then found out that those three teeth were on "root canal watch". It finally stopped hurting. However, one of the fillings fell out. Recent crown had to be adjusted post procedure and it was painful for a month. Recently ,their wonderful hygienist Manny left, I had a scheduled cleaning done by the dentist in about 30 min.
