I've been going to Dr. Frostad's office for years now after originally getting referred there for gum surgery. My initial experience was 5-star because, what would seem terrifying, was done with finesse by a seasoned pro and was painless (we're talking 3 of 4 quadrants flapped back for root scraping to fix overly deep pockets that lead to periodontal disease and dentures). In addition, everything was explained clearly and thoroughly. Since then, I go there for regular cleanings and Sherri has always been thorough as those before her. They've also always handled my dental insurance honestly and professionally. I was shocked to see a review implying trickery when most practioners struggle to keep up with the complex and constantly changing insurance schemes which vary between insurers and vary for individual insurers per employer contracts. It's a patient's responsibility to know their insurance benefits and, if I was really worried about that, I would ask for a pre-authorization. The front office (Helen et al) have always been nice about scheduling and coordinating with my primary dentist and other specialists related to my care. Everyone in this practice is really nice and you can tell they are all focused on doing the best for their patients. Bravo. read more
