Despite some so-so reviews, I chose Super Laundry (3545 Reading Rd.) due to its proximity to my home. In a nutshell, my experience was benign...but that's really a good thing because we are talking about doing laundry. Contrary to some other reviews, the attendant was extremely pleasant and helpful. She advised me as to what size machine I should use (thereby saving me a little money) and exchanged my cash for a laundry card. Gone are the coin-operated machines that often Jammed AFTER taking my last quarter!! The facility is clean. There are plastic couches on which to sit, televisions for entertainment, a vending machine for snacks. Better equipped than the laundromats of yesteryear whose machines stole my quarters. According to some other reviews [whose sources I have not verified], the price for a load of laundry is, in part, dictated by the daily cost of water and electricity . I'm not sure how that rate is determined, but on October 11, 2023 one load of laundry in a #6 machine cost me $7.23. The attendant told me that a dryer would cost approximately $15...but she did not know that I was raised by a long line of frugal line dryers. At any rate, those prices seem expensive to me, but I truly do not know the cost of running a #6 machine. Maybe $7.23 is a deal? How do families who do ALL OF THEIR LAUNDRY at the laundromat afford it?? Keep the poor poor??? So many questions spinning around as my bath mats got their scrubbing. Another Yelper mentioned that Super Laundry is not in "the best area," but it is unclear to me if he was at the 3545 Reading Rd location. Here's my take---it's in a new-ish strip mall in Avondale with a wide-open parking lot and distinct lack of dark alleys and bogey men. On the night of my visit, there were at least three families with young children, several couples, a few other singletons, three races represented, all of us just doing our laundry. Totally benign.

The washers and dryers were adequately working. They have washer and dryer sizes to accommodate all laundry loads. I washed 4 loads including 2 covers and a large comforter for approximately $25. Unfortunately, the staff was not very attentive or professional on Sunday, May 17th. I had a few questions and he was outside on his cell having a conversation with someone on speaker phone. I asked a question and he rudely told me to "wait a minute". Finally, he showed me how to pay for a card to use in the equipment. There were also a few minor leaks from the shafts going across the ceiling. They were leaking into small containers catching the water dripping. That looked as if it needed to be repaired immediately. All in in all, I would give it a 7 out of 10. The music was great! The oldies station plays while you wait. They also have refreshments for purchase. I would return. Hopefully, the minor inconveniences will be addressed/repaired prior to my return.

There was stuff everywhere. The floors were filthy. It looks like it's never been cleaned underneath their sinks, I wouldn't use their bathrooms, I would go outside first, it's just disgusting so I decided that I would email the company instead of posting a nasty review about them to see if I could get anything accomplished. Well, needless to say I did not I even offered to work there, he said he has 24 hour workers, which I've never seen I've seen a girl out there, sleeping a lot of times but nobody cleaning, I asked her if she worked there, she told me no, but they say they're clean. And all it's false advertisement. But people have to care about the place they live, pick yourself up that you drop on the floor if you spill something wipe it up, I mean, come on, people get a little bit of pride in yourself and your community and actually makes me sick to think that this is how Latonia has turned out.\n But the owner reassured me that on his part, he would make sure that the stuff was clean. I got exceptional service from the employees and the prices are better than other cleaners in town! And they're quick! I love being able to pick stuff up next day! I had a Sherpa pullover that I needed cleaned between two business trips (I was only home for 2-3 days between the trips). They were able to get my item cleaned in time for me to pack it for the 2nd trip! All other cleaners I called told me it would be longer. We are traveling in an RV and there's ample parking right near the door. Brand, new machines, convenient payment, very clean, and staff that really seems proud of their superior laundry, Queen city is located near our waterfront campground and is especially convenient for people like us who are traveling in periodically need to do large batches of laundry. One bathroom for men and women...so it's disgusting, to say the least. The patrons have been known to fight more at this laundromat than they do next door at the bar.
