Within a couple of hours, Jeff came to my house & told me to gather a couple of days worth of clothing for emergency immediate cleaning. My warmest everyday coat was buried under a pile of rubble. It looked like it had been through World War III. Jeff didn't even flinch when I handed it to him. I received our smattering of clothing from him a few days later in exemplary condition. My coat looked better than ever. You'd never have known it had been totally trashed a few days earlier. Our reconstruction company was beginning to come in & pack up our house & Jeff & his crew were there to take all (ALL- yikes) of my clothing, shoes, some of my fiance's things (his closet wasn't affected due to its location) & our stuffed animals. We then had another rush job since we had a burial to attend. Again, all our necessary items were all set & ready to go. All of our clothes, coats, shoes & hats have been cleaned to perfection!! To hem two cotton tops. I am dumbfounded by that price. I think it's important to pay people for their work, but $40.00 to hem a basic cotton top is unbelievable. It's my fault for not checking the price first, but I had no idea it would be so extremely expensive.

I could tell that he didn't think that it was worth it, and it clearly showed in the workmanship (lack of ), but I still wanted to do it . The job cost $40. He did not have to buy any new material. When I got home and looked at the blanket, he did such a bad job. the lines were not straight, they were not parallel. Parts of the fabric could have been folded down for a better appearance, but he did not bother. I am really unhappy with this.

I am short so I always have to get my pants hemmed and since this location has opened, I have always brought them to Kenny to get tailored. Typically, I leave a sample of pants in the past to measure the inseam and use the length to hem the pants. This has worked for me a few times so I have gotten to the habit of doing this..until this last trip, I left two pairs of jeans and a sample (side note: it took me forever to find skinny jeans that fit me well so I was glad I finally found two!) .. When I picked it up, to my dismay, they were both too short. They were almost to my ankle. So the next day, I came by when the tailor was in... and told him my dilemma. He showed that the inseam on the pants was exactly the same as my sample and he even gave a few centimeters leeway. This made me realize that he did his job precisely and this was entirely my fault for not coming in when he was in and not trying them on.. I then tried them on and showed him how they looked on me (sample, vs, the hemmed pants), he agreed that although the inseam was the same the hemmed pants were just too short and we both had a laugh realizing that the fit of the jeans were just really different. He then proceeded to look for the piece that he cut off so he can sew the original hem back on and thank god he found them! He agreed to lengthen the pants and didn't charge me for it. The lengthened pants are now the perfect length and I am now a happy camper. That said, I highly recommend this place for tailoring - they are super professional and willing to fix things even if it is the customer's fault! Overall, this place also does a decent job of dry cleaning.. reasonable price and very timely.
