Maybe if I had spent more they would have cared, but they certainly could care less that my daughter is crushed over something very sentimental to her. I hope no one else goes through this. I work very hard for my money and it's sad that they could care less. I was just about to get my wedding rings through them, I guess it's a blessing this happened.

I had a great time in the store on Wednesday. Their customer service was outstanding. The two young ladies were very helpful with helping to suggest items I should purchase. I purchased many items on Wednesday for a large group trip I am sponsoring. After I purchased the items, I realized on Thursday that I no longer needed the six packs of Lance crackers, so I decided to return them on my way out on Friday. Of course, Ollie's was very busy because it was Black Friday. I stood in line because I had no choice. Once I got to the register, I was told that they are not doing returns because they were busy. I advised them that I am out of town and on my way out. The manager/supervisor Jeffery, reluctantly took me to another register to process the return. He reviewed the receipt and the six boxes of crackers which were $2.59 a box and confirmed that my refund would go back to my AMEX. Jeffery gave me the receipt and it was only $9 and change. I told him that I didn't think that was correct, and Jeffery abrasively pointed to the receipt and told me see look that is what it came out to. I told him that I was not saying you are wrong, but I calculated it differently in my head. Then Jeffery told me to have a blessed day. I was not feeling well, so I said, you too, and left out. I later reviewed the receipt and saw that he returned the 1st item on the receipt which was only $1 and change. I did not even get six of those items. I later called AMEX to put in a dispute. They took my information and instantly reimbursed my money. I like Ollie's but I will not return to this one.

Thankfully it was a great experience. Friday and Saturday they were very busy, but most shelves had some inventory. Sunday was a more pleasant customer experience with lower crowds. Also the shelves were not ransacked. There was plenty of staff at every turn to ask for assistance. Checkouts were smooth with lots of staff. This has been an issue for a bit with customers being forced to checkouts. I know that I will be back.

The quality above average and the styling seems to hit just right for the teen and young 20 demographic. Staff goes overboard to assist on our visits and returns are easy within 30 days no questions. My daughter often says the staff is better than other shops because they treat teens like adults. Through the eyes of my daughter who is a super regular it's a great place to shop for young women's clothing.

The hallmark of Pottery Barn are there displays and they absolutely did not disappoint. Every inch of the store was impeccably decorated. I purchased sheets and received assistance on sizing. I also received help on a nightstand which I put a hold on. Ultimately I released it the next day. Checkout was flawless. Full 5 stars and will return with being up in the area more often.

I called this store and spoke to Caroline regarding the Brandon 8x10 rug. Each time I called a store the sales staff was either too busy to help or told me that the rug was already on hold for another customer. Caroline was so helpful and reassuring that she had one in stock and that it was in new condition. I asked if she would be willing to ship the rug to me in California. She told me she would and took my information over the phone. She also made it clear that this was a final purchase because the rug is discontinued. I received the rug and couldn't be happier!!! Many of them are in their twenties and some of them have just an ok knowledge of products, but everyone I interacted with was very nice. I bought a pretty expensive serum off of a recommendation and ended up having an allergic reaction (not her fault I have really picky skin) and everyone was very apologetic and the return was a breeze. I tracked down almost every associate in the store to see what they'd all recommend, and was pleasantly surprised at all of their knowledge and their willingness to help. I think they were definitely more willing to help people who seem like they will drop some $ here. Which, in all fairness, they are working a sales floor and this is their job. A good trick I've picked up is leading with "price doesn't matter" (even if it does lol) when asking for help, and seeing what they recommend off the bat. If it's out of my range, then I'll ask if they've found a drugstore dupe for the high end product then compare the two. In general, their selection of drugstore options is WAY more limited than ULTAs is. If you want good dupes and more to pick from I'd go to ULTA. Sephora does offer some high end brands and more expensive products in general, but it's a good place to find a nice addition to my normal product lineup. The bulk of my cosmetic shopping is at ULTA and I save Sephora for special splurgy items. I ended up grabbing a laneige moisturizer (I trust anything k beauty) and a inky list redness serum and both have worked beautifully for my skin. No escalator running up, only elevator, which was occupied. This is a problem for your handicapped customers. When I returned today the up escalator still wasn't working - so this is apparently "regular" service. YOu, Michael's, chose to be on the second floor in this mall. So YOU, Michael's need to keep your escalators running. When I came in six weeks ago, the service at your custom framing desk could NOT have been less helpful. Two men behind the counter were arguing (see other one-star post about custom framing employees being angry at each other). I stood waiting while they finished their spat and finally noticed me (invisible woman over 60 problem?). The young male who "attended me" was clearly new and didn't have a clue what was going on. He told me that frames the size I wanted could only be had custom. I told him he was wrong, that they could be ordered online - from Michael's. He didn't get it. I explained again that MICHAEL'S had it in stock online. He didn't get it. So I unnecessary ordered a "custom" frame I could have ordered online just to get the matter done. I never got a call back telling me the item was done so had to call myself. The explanation was a flood in the store, etc. No apology. So I returned to pick up today. First was the ongoing escalator problem. Second was in absentia workers. I went up and down the paper aisle looking for Japanese rice paper. Never found it. Not one person was available to help me find it. Two employees were dithering at the front desk. Went to custom framing. No one is there but a senior citizen couple. After about four minutes I asked them if there was someone working. They said they thought so but she had disappeared in the back. We waited longer. I finally hit the button for nonattendance which said "buzz here we will happily assist you". No one happily assisted us. The woman finally showed up. She couldn't help the senior citizen couple. They had nine small frames in front of them. They asked for a bag. She said she didn't have one (but didn't try to get one, either, or call the front) and left these poor people stuffing nine frames in their pockets. Unbelievable. My turn wasn't much better. She clearly doesn't want to work. At one point she muttered something and I said "were you addressing me? I can't hear you" and she had telling me to sign a receipt. She opened both orders (apparently upon instruction) without a comment so you learn you have to say "that's fine" I even had to ask if I owed Michael's anything. I didn't. I then asked her where Michael's might have rice paper. She said she "didn't know - it's out there if we carry it". Didn't offer to call the front desk. So I left (two employees at front desk were still on their phones) and checked - yes, Michael's does carry rice paper for $25.00++. I went on Amazon and ordered it for $3.99. This is why your store is failing.

The staff were really knowledgeable and patient with us as we took over 45 minutes to decide on the 13 different pieces. Due to the pandemic we haven't shop as much. At the register they carefully checked for items that should be for sale for us and ordered a different size for a jacket to be shipped directly to San Francisco. They recommend several pieces that we normally wouldn't have picked out and this was really a godsend since we have a shop for a while and were in a time crunch . Highly recommend this place due to the friendly service and the professional knowledge they have.
