Old style armchairs and chairs, but new style tables. Staff were friendly. No complaints. Coffee was pretty decent. I also tried their chocolate bun. Looked like a long thin swirly pile of, um, poop. It was tasty though. I liked that it wasn't ridiculously sweet. Went well with the coffee. The place is nice and quiet, and is great for chatting. I'd come back at some point.

The place is pretty cozy, and has a nice relaxing feel thanks to the living room shelves and plants. There is a large table, some bar seating, and scouple of small tables. Staff are friendly. Looks like a mom (no pop) place. Coffee here seemed a bit watered down. Not a dealbreaker, but worth mentioning. They also sell some basic sandwiches and drinks. Not sure how fresh the stuff is. The person behind the counter let me know that it was more of a superfood thing, so I was going to pick something else entirely but they offered to make me a matcha latte with coconut milk if I wanted a similar flavour profile. I really appreciated this attention to detail! And the latte turned out sooooo good :) Another item I'd recommend for summer is their affogato!

We bought a slice of cheese cake, Black Forest cake and lemon cake. The cheese cake was really dense and hard crumble. Black Forest cake was similar to what you get at an ordinary grocery store. Lemon cake was dry and really artificial flavors of lemon. I guess my expectation was similar to other authentic Italian bakery. But that's not the case here.
