I had a great experience with Ken Garff Ford. Blake in the service department was excellent--very patient, understanding, and helpful with my situation involving a vehicle I had recently purchased from a different dealership. He took the time to listen and made the whole process much easier and less stressful. I really appreciate the level of customer service he provided. I highly recommend Ken Garff Ford, and especially Blake in the service department! read more

I am not a keyboard warrior but after several emails and phone calls with no results, Ken Barff Fort Collins "Service" has brought me to this point. At first, it was all good. My charging port hatch on my electric car broke and would not close. I went in to the dealership to show them the issue and schedule service. They told me they could get me a loaner car, order the part, and have me fixed up the following week. Perfect! On that scheduled day, I took the morning off of work and showed up for my appointment. I was checked in and asked to wait in the waiting room for my loaner car. After waiting about 15 minutes, the associate came out and told me that not only did they not have a loaner car for me, but the part was never ordered. That is frustrating and disappointing, but things happen. I was told they would order the part and call me for service the next week. After not hearing any communication for the next couple of weeks, I emailed twice through their website form with absolutely no response. I then tried calling. I called on 6/17 and was put on hold, then hung up on. I called again and the same thing happened. Again, giving the benefit of doubt, I waited until the next day to call again. No one in parts or service seems to know what is going on at this point. I am back to square one. Here I am 3 weeks later, driving around with tape all over my 2023 car and absolutely no communication or help. Where is the customer service? Where is the initiative to help out a customer that switched from Subaru to Ford and purchased from Ken Barff. After reading other low reviews, I am getting the true sense of KGF. And no, Gary, I don't want your generic response for other low reviews. I want you to call me to explain what is going on. I am throwing you plenty of olive branches here. I am in customer service myself and all customers want is communication and culpability. Do better. read more

Ken Garff Ford Ft. Collins - 3 weeks and counting of driving around with tape on my car due to KGF incompetence. - Auto Repair Near Me - Fort Collins, Colorado

1 year ago my 2020 ranger had cam phaser issues. 53k miles. The service dept told me I didn't changed my oil. This offended me greatly as I do change my oil. These guys take 3 hours to do an oil change. There was about 3 oil changes I couldn't prove with paperwork so they will not cover. The next thing they told me "well we've sent pictures to ford so you can't try to warranty anywhere else and if your truck blows up when you get it back, it's not covered. We can only put in a new engine. I couldn't believe how bad I was treated. I've spent the last year cleaning my engine with Seafoam. It's running better but still not acceptable so I decide to give it another try. Talked to Gary the service manager. He seemed to want to take a look. unfortunately he was gone the next 2 days, I called to see what they found out and was told "we're here to make money!" I told him that this was BS and I've bought my last ford. He responded with "ok cool". Worst service dept I've ever dealt with! I going to pickup my truck today and will be talking to the GM. I hope he cares about the customer read more

Nothing but headaches from Ken Garff Fort Collins. Consistently they have failed to do what they said they would do. Not getting into specifics here. They once tried to charge me $900+ for work they didn't do. Sales and finance staff seem ok. Their service & parts departments have been a nightmare to work with. My most recent experience will be the last time I deal with them. If you're in Fort Collins, just make the trip to Loveland Ford it's worth it. read more

I made 3 separate attempts to make an appointment. Confirmed. All 3 times, drove across town to be told I didn't have an appointment. Thought I must be going crazy. A manager admit hey have scheduling issues. He made another appointment himself for the next week (this is going on 2 months of trying). Got there and again no appointment. They took me anyway because he was there. Then i had scheduled a recall appointment a week ago. They took the appointment, took my car in today only to tell me 4 hours later they don't have the part. Really!?! Also, I stupidly let them do an oil change while it was there. They charged me 3 TIMES the amount of a typical oil change. Need a 0 star rating. Save your money and sanity and go somewhere else. read more

Don't waste your time or money at Ken Garff Ford. They will charge you to tell you what you already know is wrong with your vehicle. They will not return your calls. And it's too much work for their Parts Department to order you the part you are requesting. I brought in my Ford Escape to have the seat belt buckle looked at. It would not release. I was charged $200 to be told my seatbelt was broken and needed to be replaced. I was also told that my fee would go towards the replacement & installation. However, when I called Parts to order, I was told I needed authorization from my service representative. I left five messages between August 8 and October 2, and did not back receive a call back. I finally went to the dealership in person. I was then told that no, the $200 was the fee for diagnostics. I was charged $200 to be told that my seatbelt--which I already knew was broken--needed to be replaced. There was no engine diagnostics. No having to take anything apart. I brought my car in to see if the seatbelt could be unlocked. Furthermore, while there in person, Parts complained that they'd have to call "a very long list of dealers" to see if anyone had one available. I shared that I had already done the work and located two available. I was then told the parts were not from a dealership--even though they were new Ford parts--Ken Garff Ford could not order. In summary, if you know what's wrong with your vehicle, go anywhere else. read more

I would leave a 0 star rating if that were an option. The only department that answers any phone calls, emails, system messages or texts is the sales department. In the service department they will not respond to you, no matter how many times you call, email or message. They do not provide timeframes for when service will be complete either. read more

If I could rate 0 stars, I would. I brought my Ford Fusion in back in August 2024 for an AC repair and paid close to $900 for them to "fix" it. When I picked up the car, the AC seemed to work temporarily, but I quickly noticed a new issue--a faulty door latch that constantly showed a "door ajar" warning and didn't allow the door to lock. That wasn't a problem before I brought the car in, so it was clearly something they caused and didn't tell me about. I could live with the annoying warning notification, but later realizing my passenger door didn't even lock? Absolutely not. Fast forward a few weeks ago, the AC completely stopped working again--same exact issue I paid nearly a grand to fix. I took it back thinking they'd take responsibility or at least offer to make it right. Instead, I was told I now owe $400 just for a diagnostic. Turns out it's the compressor, which should've been checked the first time. They admitted the door latch issue was on them, but still expect me to pay for the fallout of their half-done work. No accountability, no ownership, just excuses. I will never trust them to touch my car again. Save yourself the stress and take your car somewhere else. read more

Have tried quick lane for oil changes the last few times and have been told they are all booked up. No offer to set up a future appointment. I do NOT recommend any part of this Ford dealership but especially the service department. My husband called about a month ago, was told someone would call him back and they never did. We wanted to just take the car somewhere else but my husband's work schedule is very difficult to work around. Online I was able to make an appointment for Friday at 11:30am. We were glad to get an appointment on a Friday since my husband needed his car by Monday. He was told when he dropped it off, that it was just a "check in time" and that they might be able to get to the car that day. Nobody ever called but my husband did recieve a text that evening at 5pm saying they completed the inspection and had results. At 7pm we were told it wasn't going to get done that day but would be ready monday BEFORE lunch. On monday, I started calling around noon since we hadn't heard from anyone yet. The phone just kept ringing and nobody ever answered. I eventually got someone through sales and they transferred me but still no answer and no way to leave a message. My husband when he was able to Monday morning texted telling them to contact me when the car was ready. He got a text a few hours later saying they got the message to call me instead but got no info on the car and I never received a call or text from anyone. Around 2pm, my husband texted again asking about the car. They texted back right away and stated that the part was faulty and they needed to order a new one and that the car would be ready on Tuesday. This information was not given to us until we asked and not till around 2pm. In I think most people's minds, "before lunch" is generally before noon so we should have heard from them sooner and without us having to contact them 1st. Tuesday around 2pm my husband texted again asking for an update. About an hour later they texted back saying they were working on it. Right away after that text, he got another one saying the car was ready and asking for payment. We originally were told there was a $200 diagnosis fee plus the parts and labor cost which would come to $725 which would make the parts and labor around $525. After our troubles with the service, I asked for the diagnosis fee to be removed. This is actually very common practice in a lot of shops including other Ford dealerships when you proceed with the fix with that company. Justin, the service tech we were working with was incredibly rude when I asked to speak to his manager. I had to ask multiple time and was met with attitude. I wish I had gone in there with everything written out and proof of communication, or lack of.... Justin kept interrupting my conversation mid sentence with the manager and kept being very disrespectful. The manager said he would work on something and ended up taking off $64.... on the invoice it says that fee was $0 and looks like they just jacked up labor costs even more.... this is unfortunately not our only bad experience with this Ford dealership. About 10ish years ago we also got a crap car from them. We should have never taken my husband's car there but we were working with whatever appointment we could get and liked that they would be more knowledgeable on my husband's Ford fusion hybrid. We will never use this dealership again for sales and especially for service. Communication is very important in a business like this and when your customer is upset with the lack of service they have received, you make it right... I did not receive a single apology and $64 off is a joke. Hopefully the car is actually fixed so I don't have to deal with these people again. Justin, please consider a job not in a sales position working directly with customers. read more

Horrible car buying experience. The lies and slimy tactics are abundant at this place. Do not trust a word they say.

Their service is terrible. I am currently dealing with their incompetence for the second time in a year. Last year, I came in with my 2021 Ford Bronco Sport with battery issues. I suggested that they checked the alternator because for how little miles there were on the car battery issues didn't make sense. They did not look at the alternator, changed the battery, charged me $400, and sent me on my way. Two weeks later the exact same issue showed up again, and it turns out that the issue was the alternator after all. This time they replaced the alternator, replaced the battery, and charged me for both. When I brought up the conversation we had had when the car was first brought in, they said "Nope these are completely different issues that are unrelated to one another, and you have to pay for all of this work including the second new battery." After arguing with them, they said the best they could do is a rebate for the parts and discount the labor ($1500 to $1000) with zero accountability for the fact that they messed up the first time. Now fast forward a year, I have a check engine light come on and turbo under boost code come up. I bring the car in tell them what is going on and ask them to fix it. I go the next 4 days without hearing from them after leaving multiple voice messages looking for an update. Finally, I get ahold of them, and they assure me that the turbo is not the issue, and the technician is still working on diagnosing the problem, and they will call me once they know the issue. Two more days go by without contact, I call in trying to get an update because it is a Friday, and my car is now going on a week in the shop, and I am told that the issue is a turbo wastegate regulating solenoid and the part has been ordered and will be there on Monday. I call in on Monday afternoon to see how things are going, and I get no update on the turbo but I am told that the rear shocks are an issue and have been removed and should be replaced. Exhausted by the situation, I cave and say if you think they need to be replaced go ahead and replace them (there goes $500). I ask for an update on the turbo issue, and I am told the car should be done by the end of the day. I hear nothing from them. I call in around 4:45 and am on hold until 5 with no response. I call in the next morning to see what's going on, and I am told that the air filters have been replaced and the car will be ready by noon. Noon comes around, no call. 2 PM comes around, no call. 4 PM comes around, I call them to see what's going on. They pick up and say "Oh, your car is ready for pick please get here before we close." I get my car back Fast forward to today (a month later), the check engine light comes on and the turbo under boost codes come up again after my first time driving on the highway. I call them explain the issue, and they are already on defense trying to tell me these things are not related. I ask for a loaner. They reply "We have a two week waitlist." I tell them I've been on the waitlist for about two weeks from the last time. They tell me they don't have any available. They say they will get the tech right on it to check what's going and let me know what's going on by the end of the day. For once I am going to give them credit, they actually got back to me. They told me that the codes from the first time and the second time are not the same so this isn't the same issue and likely not their fault. I comment that they replaced a large part of the turbo, so it is unlikely that codes would be the same. They reply they will have to look into it. I ask how long will the car will be in the shop. They say they don't know. I ask to talk to the service manager about covering a rental. The service agent says he will talk to him and get back to me. Service agent calls back and says you can get a rental, but we will only cover it if it's their fault. I already know that they are going to charge me and ignore the fact that they did not solve the problem the first and sent me out with a car destined to be back in the shop. If you need a Ford serviced, literally go anywhere but here. The take zero accountability, rarely fix the problem the first time, and will nickel and dime you at every corner while your car is in the shop and you are vulnerable. If I could give their service 0 stars, I would. Avoid this place at all cost because take it from me if you don't it'll cost you twice the price as it should. read more

Do not trust that any car you buy from here has been serviced! Bought a used car and they said they changed the oil, replaced brakes, and other stuff. Turns out the brakes needed replaced, so who is to say any of the other services were done? I had to pay $3k in repairs a month after buying the car (my own mechanic) which I have no problems with, it is an older car and I expected it to have problems but do not expect a pristine trouble free car from them! The car I got from them had a lot of problems. Used cars are as is and they don't fix them before selling. This seems to be common with any dealership. They add fees/charges into your loan. They said that a few added things were FREE. No they just added the cost to my loan. They do not respond to calls or emails after you buy a vehicle. They also give you half of your paperwork on a flash drive. The car I got from them is only worth $6k. They had it for sale for $13k and the total for the loan is $15k. I gave them a trade in and they gave me $400 and went and sold it for $6k and that car was only worth $1k. Take from that what you will. I love the car I got from them but I don't like dealerships. read more

This dealership replaced the 3G modem in my 2019 Ford Fusion in January and neglected to record the ICCID number printed on the box. This number is needed to make the AT&T internet hotspot service work. They also neglected to program the modem so the remote start and unlock features would work. I took the car back to them in May and they said everything worked fine and refused to work on it anymore. I took the car to Loveland Ford and they were able to program the modem so the remote features work, but the AT&T services don't. Loveland Ford is not allowed to provide me the ICCID number, since they didn't install the new modem. I have worked with AT&T and Ford corporate for months to resolve this issue. I am constantly told to take the car back to the Ken Garff Fort Collins dealership which refuses to help me. I bought three cars from the Spradley Barr Dealership which was wonderful. I won't be buying from Ken Garff since they now own the dealership. read more

Ken Garff is the absolute worst dealership I have encountered in my 30 years of buying cars. I had problems the moment after I signed the paperwork. I had asked specifically to the salesperson about 2 sets of keys for the vehicle bc they had asked me if my trade in had two sets of fobs. I was told yes, but then immediately after purchase the second set of keys could not be found. There was no attempt to rectify the situation and even worse they offered a warranty product for $800+ dollars to replace the key. This is where is gets even worse. I was in a weird spot with out a second set of keys so caved and purchased the warranty. I also purchased a drivetrain warranty and window and clearcoat package. I ended up wanting to cancel the drivetrain warranty and for some reason they cancelled the key and wheel package as well. I believe this was done bc they 'gave me a deal' for buying both and when I cancelled the larger warranty they also cancelled the smaller one that was discounted so they didn't lose money. This was just the beginning of the nightmare really. As part of the package they were to coat the windshield and also ceramic coat the vehicle. I dropped the truck off at the dealership and 2 hours later they called and said it was done. When I arrived the truck was completely dirty and not even washed let alone ceramic coated. The truck had been moved so it wasn't that they completely forgot but someone actually got in it and moved it and did not notice it was completely dirty and not serviced. The third time I was directly lied to. Then after about a month of driving (800 miles) the vehicle the change engine oil soon warning came on. This was really odd bc the vehicle checklist that I went over with the salesman stated they changed the oil. I thought maybe the just forgot to reset the oil warning so I checked the oil and it was black. They absolutely did not change the oil but stated that they did. Lied to for the forth time on one transaction! I think even more frustrating is that the answers I get from anyone I talk to is 'I am sorry to hear that but there is nothing I can do'. It seems very easy to me to provide the services promised at the very least. I will not be using this dealership or any of their other dealerships in the future and will be sure to tell everyone I know to stay away from their lies and shady business practices. I hope this review helps someone else avoid this hassle. read more

Absolute WORST car company to exist. Do not buy a vehicle from here. We were sold a piece of crap. Within 2 weeks check engine light came on. Does your car need a repair? Go literally anywhere but here! They promised faster service for people like us, people who live hours away and have a car break down while in Fort Collins. Well, 3 weeks later they haven't touched my vehicle, 'waiting on parts' -- parts that I was assured would arrive in 2-4 days, parts that I had to pay a $2,000 deposit for (I guess Ken Garff Ford is so poorly managed they can't afford to order parts for customers. Good thing my financial distress is less than theirs, and I could borrow money to help support their business). I asked multiple times for updates on my vehicle, which Kristof never initiated, but was happy to return my weekly calls with helpful messages like 'call me back' never left on my phone, but on my male partner's phone. I have missed multiple days of work due to the complications of finding a car to drive back and forth from the mountains to Fort Collins. Aggravated with this poorly run business, I found a wonderful little transmission shop who was happy to actually fully inspect my transmission to properly diagnose the problem before we make a plan together that will work for me with my timeline, financial, and physical constraints---cheaper labor, trusted communication already established, and warrantied work. If you've read this far, you're also likely looking to find a vehicle maintenance shop that will respect you and your hard earned dollars--so keep scrolling until you find a shop that will actually suit your needs. If you're reading this because you also feel like you were ripped off here, heed my advice: have a manager watch your conversation with Kristof, he helped me get my money back with slightly less protest. Save yourself the headaches and find a shop that takes the time to listen to you as a customer, you deserve a vehicle you feel safe driving. read more

This place is ridiculous. I needed an oil change and made an appointment and multiple times my appointment was cancelled because they over booked for the day. So I finally got my appointment today to not be cancelled. My appointment was at 1:15 and I was told it would be quick and they didn't even pull my car out of the parking lot until 3:15. Why make people appointments if they are going to drastically over book for the day and not follow the appointment times at all. I did not have time to sit for hours waiting for my car to be even noticed. There were many people in the lobby all talking with each other about how ridiculous this was and I heard multiple people say they missed other appointments for the day because they were waiting for their cars. I'm writing a 2nd review, 0 stars. PLEASE someone reach out to me. Trying to get warranty work done along with fixing a scratch in my mirror after it was replaced. I scheduled an appointment in Dec. 2023, the first time since getting frustrated in the months after purchasing (issues had not been resolved yet, I was too annoyed to go back in and be without my vehicle, etc...). At this appointment, they said they could get me in on a Friday. I said I really needed a car, but it wouldn't be covered until they had a chance to diagnose the issue and determine if warranty would be in effect. Well, I dropped it off on a Friday morning and it sat there until the end of the day when it was moved to the back lot. Then, it didn't move until the following Tuesday morning after I texted them. Tuesday evening I get a call with the results. Why didn't I just keep my car until Tuesday? Did they ever say anything to me or apologize or anything? Nope. After that repair was complete, I picked it up and noticed right away that the issues weren't resolved. I even asked Kristof to remote start it before bringing it up so I could verify. All he did was remote start it and then manually turn on the heated seats. Great, that's not what I'm testing here, but they did seem to work at least somewhat better/more regularly then before. So, I called back to get it back in to fix the scratch in the mirror as well as look at the heated seat/remote start issue again, and that's when I met resistance with Kristof He has become unbearable to work with, down right rude and accusatory. Horrible customer service and just plain POOR attention to detail. You can spend as much time explaining the issue (even sending him text messages). I'm not sure if this is just lazy or what, but he just writes down "remote start" but never passes any details to the technician. Very hostile and defensive, too. Gary was so much better when talking to him, really hoping he'll call me as I asked Kristof to pass that along. Kristof is accusing me of not telling him about the issues I wanted looked at, but I have a clear text log that I sent him, and he confirms receiving, as well as telling him in person and him and Gary over the phone. Takes zero responsibility, but my detailed texts and notes left in the car aren't good enough. Today. when he called back he got defensive and said I never mentioned anything to him except that the heated seat wasn't working. I saw the work order he wrote, but with how little detail he included it's no wonder he doesn't know. I even listed all 3 things to him in person today before dropping it off (again). Things were looking good at first, they got the mirror working by replacing it but put a scratch in the painted panel. After accusing me of lying, the manager called and they told me to bring it in and they'd try to have the detailer fix it, along with looking at why remote start isn't turning on the heated seats/steering wheel and why the driver heated seat is intermittent. ~2 weeks later (today) when I get there, Kristof totally forget about it and everything I had sent/talked to him about. When he called me to tell me it was 'done' they had only looked at heated seats not warming, no remote start heated seats, no scratch, and claims I am trying to get free repairs on a mirror they replaced, totally reversing tune. Now they're telling me to go to another dealership because I'm always "asking for something free" -- when in reality it's me asking them to fix things they broke or damaged (3 times in the entirety of my time going there, the 1st/2nd ones were just after I purchased it and they glued the replacement weatherstrip on and then had to scrape all the glue off scratching paint, removing the door panel to replace mirror components they cut the leather, and then this scratch in the mirror). He even "took a video" of my car because he was so suspicious. Ridiculous. It's principle, it's just a scratch. But if I scratch the rental/loaner, who's going to be at fault no matter what? On 4 different days in early December I called their Service Department....no one ever answered the phone. On one occasion, I was transferred to a service advisors voice mail (Quinn I think)...whose message said he'd call back soon...never called. If this is the quality of service I can expect here in Fort Collins, I will turn in the Ranger when the lease is up and buy a Toyota. My recall notice is still not handled! read more

Go somewhere else. This place pitted us against another potential buyer to increase the selling price of the car we came there to buy, while trying to cross-sell us into a higher priced vehicle "in case we lost to the couple sitting next to us." read more

Buyer beware! Ken Garff Ford in Ft. Collins is truly taking advantage of the vehicle shortage, and gaming customers. Went to bed on Tuesday with an arrangement to pay only a $500 deposit to place a hold on a vehicle for an initial test drive when it eventually arrives at the dealership. Was also sent a proposal that was below MSRP with current Ford promotions. On Wednesday I received a message from the dealer I was working with saying that they would need to add $2K to the original offer due to low inventory and that I would need to agree to a deal before the truck arrived to guarantee a test drive. Would love to support local dealerships but I will be heading out of town for my truck purchase. read more

My experience with Krzysztof was very poor. The communication was one way and there were several broken commitments. I finally had to talk to the manager and the shop Forman to get things done. I know there is a delay on parts but that still requires the representative to let me know. When I finally got the work done there were several black hand prints on the headliner and I had to take it back. Evidently no one looked at the truck after the repair. It shouldn't have been allowed to go back to the customer looking like it did. In all my years of work being done on my vehicles this was the worst customer service I have received. Don't use this dealership!!! read more

I was bummed to have had a couple bad experiences since they switched from Spradley Barr to Ken Garff. I scheduled an oil change and a tire rotation. Dropped the car off that morning. They gave me a ride to my office. I returned near the end of biz day to find the service rep totally clueless as to the status of my truck. Somehow it had fallen through the cracks. Nothing had been done. I was told I could leave the truck overnight (how am I gonna get home?). I opted to take the truck home. While waiting for the truck to be retrieved, a manager came out, apologized, and offered a free oil change. I accepted! This is 4 or 5 star biz behavior. Mistakes happen (PITA) but perfection is a silly ideal. So why two stars.....? Well, it happened a second time. I needed a small cabin heating/cooling part changed. I could have purchased it on Amazon and installed it in an hour without special tools. But I decided to bite the bullet and pay a pro. Save myself the hassle right?! Scheduled, dropped-off and got a ride back at the end of biz day. Shoulder shrugging service rep: "you'll have to come back tomorrow"....um how am I going to get home? This time no hero manager to save the day. Unfortunate. So, I just took the vehicle home, counted it a learning opportunity. Did the work myself and resolved that I will never take a vehicle to a Ken Garff service shop ever again. read more

If I could rate less than one star I would. I regrettably purchased a 2013 Ford Focus from here and I've had nothing but problems with it. Transmission going out multiple times and they still haven't fixed it after many visits and money dumped into the car. Now most recently the electronics have died on the car. I will never buy another Ford as long as I live. *Update I'm back again with more issues with this car. Terrible customer service and even worse vehicles. read more

I purchased a car in February, and this autumn it began having issues. Twice their mechanics couldn't see any problems, and wouldn't take it on a longer drive to prove me correct. So, since this was a major safety issue, I gathered the courage to drop in and speak directly with a manager. AJ greeted me (when a customer comes in with this request it can only mean trouble, after all) and listened to my grievance. I tell you I was nervous, because I really liked the car. I'd already done research on what was on the lot and suggested the 2011 Ford Focus for an even trade. He sent Nick out later, we test-drove two models and came home with the one I had chosen online. The trade went as smooth as could be, with them absorbing my complete remaining loan and refinancing the new vehicle. I was so relieved! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the lack of cooperation the mechanics at both the Ford and the Mazda dealerships gave me. read more

If you are looking for a vehicle, go see Derek Gonnerman! I just recently bought a Ford Explorer from Spradley, and Derek was my sales guy. He made the entire process so quick and easy. I had to drop my Explorer off at the Service Department a couple of days after buying it, because they had to fix the trim around the windshield, and Derek set me up with a loaner car and had it waiting for me, AND he also made sure my Explorer got detailed, since they hadn't had a chance to detail it yet when I bought it. I had a great experience at Spradley, and I highly recommend them!!! Make sure to ask for Derek, he's awesome!!! read more

Still the worst most immoral people I have ever dealt with.. I continue to tell my customers about how shady this dealership is and how immoral the people that work/own this dealership is. I have not forgot. Update!!!! In response to your reply!!!! You have proven to me that you care nothing about the customer and only about the few thousand you can make off of us! Your deakership completely took advantage of my already horrible situation and didn't bat an eye to screw me on financing! How bout you cut me a check for the 3500 because I have your finance manager Scott on audio recording flat out lying to us about the interest rate! It's RECORDED that he said it's your mistake and you will be able to get the 3.99% for us from one of the first 2 banks you had asked for financing through!!! You just had to take 3500 off the sale price or give me 3500 more for trade in! Which you did neither!!!!! You ran our credit EIGHT times and completely screwed us and lied to us to make a sale!! I have been spreading the word like crazy to my customers at my retail store and to all my friends about your scamming ways! You may have ripped me off for a few thousand but I know I have cost your company ALOT MORE than what you made off me just in word of mouth in telling my experience which I will continue to do unless you make some kind of attempt to make this right!!! Scott Thomason is the shadiest most immoral financing manager I have ever dealt with! My wife and I went to spradley Barr in a very distressed state after months of dealing with John elway dodge in Greeley! We explained our situation to Jason our sales guy and we was with a 3.99% interest rate on my trade in. Our credit scores were 750 and 810. They got us to sign a piece of paper saying they would find us financing at 5.99% or better but guaranteed us that since we already got a good rate on dodge (trade in) then he would be able to get us at 3.99% but since we didn't want to run credit quit yet we signed it! (We already knew our scores) so we go to Scott and sign all the papers and leave under the impression that Scott was going to call us with final numbers in day or two! We signed dec 19th 2017 and on January 3rd 2018 my wife calls to find out if the trade in has been paid off by spradly abd it has not been! So my wife goes to Scott that day and he says that they are having a hard time finding financing and that they are in negotiations with a couple banks to get the interest rate we wanted but they need to come up with 3500 more to cover the negative equity on my trade in. My wife recorded this conversation and Scott tells her that it is their problem and they need to either take money off the sale price or give us more for the trade in and we would not have to come out of pocket anymore. My wife then asked can we just stop this process as we want to do our own financing and Scott and the owner would not let us out even tho they had not secured financing 14days after we signed contracts! So the next day they rushed to find us financing but it's at the 5.99% instead of the 3.99% we had discussed! At this time we are very upset with these people We try to get bill I believe his name is involved (Scott's boss) after 30 minutes of arguing he pretty much tells us I've been doing this for 30 years try to take us to court! Well after all said and done this crooked dealership ran my wife's and I credit 8 TIMES just to get me a crappy rate of 5.99% with a bank we didn't even want to be with after we told them we wanted to use our bank because they hadn't been able to secure financing 2 weeks after contract signed at the rate we wanted and was promised!! My lawyers sent them a letter trying to get them to do the morally right thing but of course they didn't respond! I will be filing a complaint with the dealer board this week! I am also a local business owner and I do and will be telling every customer that walks through my door about my horrible experience with this dealership! I will post my experience with spradley barr in every social media sites available! read more
