I am astonished by the kindness and care I received from this Volvo dealership. I was stuck in Wyoming with little luck on finding someone familiar with Volvos enough to work on my car. I called the dealership simply because it was the closest one to me at the time. Mike talked me through the issues I was experiencing with my Volvo and explained the risks and overall diagnosis of the issue. He even got down to how much it should cost to fix it, and gave a fair warning on how not to get ripped off! It made a stressful situation seem manageable. overall just a warm and positive experience. I had no intention (or way) of making it to the dealership yet he offered his expertise freely, with no expectation of anything in return. Don't trust this company or do business with them - I leased a new car and did a buy out three months later. At the time of leasing it they confirmed to me verbally that I could do part of the buy out by credit card without a 3% service fee and also what the final buy out amount would be. The latter I insisted to get in writing at that time. Now three months later as I am doing the buy out they were not willing to honor either. When I involved the branch manager Jeremia Hartford he insisted on adding the 3% service fee to any credit card payment. When I asked him whether he would not honor a verbal commitment from his team member to a customer he said right out "No we don't". Regarding the buy out amount they wanted to charge me approx $500 more than what had been agreed to me in writing. They did not answer my question why they would not even honor their own written statement to me. Only after I kept pushing back and insisted I would not accept their higher number they finally gave in. All this after literally pressuring me for a five star review at the time of leasing the car. Bottom line is - don't trust these guys whatever they say and don't do business with them! read more

I have been with Pedersen Volvo since 2020 and they are AMAZING when if comes to selling a car... Now, don't expect them to honor what they offered if they are buying your car. Bad communications skills with clients and costumers, losing documents, never return your calls and willing to drag a deal and put you in a hole. We had a great time buying our new Volvo at Pedersen. Our main point of contact, Brendan Nook, was absolutely wonderful throughout our car-buying process. We were already 99% sure that we wanted an XC40 Recharge, Ultimate trim, but he answered all our questions and we went out for a great test-drive to get to know the car better. He walked us through the car's MANY amazing features, answering our questions every step of the way. We are new electric vehicle owners so we had lots of questions about how the car works, how to charge it up, etc. and Brendan answered them all. We'd sort-of dreaded going into a dealership to talk with a sales person, imagining that there would be a lot of pressure to make a decision quickly. But there was none of that with Brendan; he was super friendly, informative and kind. We also enjoyed the time we spent with Wayne Roys, who was our point of contact for purchasing the vehicle (signing most of the paperwork, trading in our old vehicle, etc.) He too was patient in answering our questions, and did a great job making what might otherwise have been a tedious process, a fun one instead. Both he and Brendan made an effort to get to know us and patiently answered SO many questions for us. Took my Volvo over for the 30k scheduled maintenance. It's basically an oil change and a "look at stuff with a flash light." Very minimal. An hour and a half later, still sitting around. I was first in line and one car was on a rack. They forgot to reset the service warning. All that said, they do a good job. Just too slow. If they reduce the turn time, they will get a better star rating. read more

Ok two sides to this review. 5 Stars for Service at Volvo! These guys are great and the customer service is where it needs to be at a dealership. 1-2 Stars for the sales side of things. If your a guy its a 2 star rating if your a girl then 1 star rating due to some serious issues that they have. Its great if you are looking for a brand new car and will pay with out negotiating anything but the minute you want to wheel and deal this place goes down hill fast. A meeting with one of their sales people leaves me wanting to run hard for 5 miles, hit a punching bag as hard as I can, and wanting me to dunk their head into a toilet and give the sales guy a "swirly"! These guys are fantastic! I had a sorta bad experience, that they were able to completely turn around! I had gotten an oil change there and a few weeks later the oil cap blew off while I was driving and oil sprayed everywhere and started smoking- the oil cap had not been tighten enough unfortunately. I called them and they sent out a tech right away (and without me having to ask!) with a new oil cap and a few gallons of oil to top me off. They apologized and instructed me to come on the next day to get my engine detailed and to check for damage. They took a terrible situation and turned it right around. They inspected my truck for any damage and cleaned it off nicely. The level of customer service I received is fantastic. I will definetly come back for another oil change. We had been looking at a few cars to purchase with my father in law and settled on 3 which included the Volvo S90. I had gotten quotes from local dealers near us in Littleton and finally reached out to Ryan Schlote at Pedersen, immediately his prices were way better than anywhere in the Denver area, he didn't pull any of the games dealers play with marking up money factors or acquisition fees and probably ran more numbers for us then needed. I personally would have chosen the S90 as it was the best deal of all the cars we looked at and Ryan was constantly honest with everything and responsive but we went with a different vehicle. I wish all dealers were this way and the absolute first place I'd look again would be Pedersen Volvo for our next vehicle even if it's a two hour drive for us. read more

Buying my car from Devin was easy and stress-free. It helped that I knew what I wanted but Devin gave me straight information on what was available and how long I should expect before my car came in. He called regularly to update me- when he test drove the car, when it was on the way, & when it came in. He also suggested add-on's such as tinted windows and a "bra" to protect from damage but no hard sell. It's my first Volvo and I bought it sight-unseen. I've had my car now for about a month and I am totally happy with it. There's a closer Volvo dealer to me but my experience with Devin at Pederson was worth the 1.5 hr drive. This review is very long over-due, but I finally got a YELP so I can give them 5 Stars! I didn't know how to drive a manual transmission until last year, and the salesman actually drove it to my mechanic for me, and it was easy for my roommate to drive it back to go over paperwork. Front desk receptionist was very nice and helpful throughout the whole process. I think I got offered a bottle of water like 8 times, so if you're dying of dehydration, just head over to Pederson. Manager was very helpful and friendly. The sales paperwork took a little longer than I expected, but it wasn't a big deal. Couple (minor) things were wrong with the car, but they fixed them right away within our agreed terms of the purchase. The auto repair section was equally as nice and helpful. They helped shuttle me around so I could get to work/school on time. Overall, it was a great experience. Loving my car, and I have 0 problems with it. We bought a car at Pederson Volvo in the middle of December. They issued our vehicle registration with the incorrect address. I took the paperwork the next week to show them and to have them correct it. They said they will call me when it is ready for me to pick up. Two-weeks later no phone call so I called them and I requested another corrected registration. They said they would mail it to me. Another two-weeks later still no registration. So I called and talked to the salesman, Ryan about it. I requested that a corrected copy be mailed to me. He stated I should have it by the end of the week. Two-weeks later, no registration. So today I made a trip to see them, and I was assured that I all I had to do was give the correct info when I got my plates. Not only did my plates get rejected because my address was wrong, but there was a signature missing on the title. I felt like I was dismissed when I went to Pederson today and I was asking for something totally off the wall. Very dissatisfied with the quality of expertise and customer service. read more

I love my Volvo and had a good buying experience at Pedersen however the service department has been disappointing. The service area has a bad setup and feels a little like a Grease Monkey but maybe not even that nice. It's crowded, small, and old. Both times I have taken my car in for service they forgot to turn off my service alert in the car so I get to go back or figure it out myself. The service tech doesn't even greet me when I pull in. He slaps a number under my wipers and asks for the keys. When my service was over he gave me the keys and said they rotated the tires and I'm good to go. They performed other things but didn't share what it was or when I will need to come back. No thank you. I called the Service Manager to provide some feedback and he was very nice but his solution was for me to ask for him when I come. I don't want to be the person who asks to only deal with the manager every time. Fix your shop so I can just get a normal level of service and feel good about spending this much $ on a car. I want the new XC90 but can't justify that until the service improves big time. read more

I normally view car shopping as an alternative activity to root canal. I've been looking for a new car and this dealership was the last one I visited. I wish it had been the first. Ryan Burr, the Sales Manager, greeted us when we arrived and helped us dither between three models very patiently. One we had decided on a model, Wayne Roys took over. He arranged a test drive and answered many of our questions. We would have bought then, but they thought we should talk to their "XC90 guy",Ryan Schlote. He walked us through all the options and helped us spec out our new car. Wayne then finished the deal, pricing the car and making the formal order. At no time were we pressured to buy. This was the most relaxed new car buying experience we've ever had (we've purchased 6 new vehicles of various makes in the past 20 years). The whole process took just 2 hours from the time we met Ryan Burr, until we left with our custom order - and the dealership was busy!
