Coconut Mango on the left with custard filled waffle and strawberry ube with Nutella filled waffle

Wonderful service and food! The owner came over to ask if everything was okay and how we liked ours. She is very kind along with the young girl working there. So many choices of ice cream too! Incredibly clean! My daughter and I really enjoyed our experience.

Filled taiyaki, these were the Oreo and custard. We didn't take pictures of the others.

Well, I'm happy to say I definitely found a hidden gem! First and foremost, the staff are the sweetest people and have amazing service! The menu is very simple to understand and not overwhelming with too many options. In my opinion, they have the right amount of options to choose from. I ended up getting ube soft swirl with a taiyaki filled with ube. Let's just say ube is one of my favorite flavors! I also ended up getting 7 taiyakis for the boys, we got the Oreo, custard, red bean and of course ube! These were so good we ended up ordering two more! In all this was a great experience and we can't wait for our next little adventure at Kem Kem!

We came in Friday evening and absolutely loved it! The inside has super cute decor and several tables. We came in and were greeted by the staff. They offer soft serve in a cup or you can get with the Taiyaki. They also have Taiyaki alone with various fillings. We got the guava milk tea swirl, ube thai tea swirl, and ube alone. We did get one with custard filled Taiyaki. Everything came out fast. You get to add some toppings, and a cookie. Our kids loved that they could pick their own. Soft serve was delicious!! Not too sweet, and it was light, especially the guava. The Taiyaki was crispy and chewy, almost chewy like a mochi texture. It was different than I expected but loved it! Our kids really loved it and we'll definitely be back. They're similar to some of the soft serve tayaiki places in the bay and taste just as good!

Ordered 4 taiyaki. 2 pizza and 1 matcha and 1 red bean. Didn't try their soft serve yet but I will definitely be back. Pizza ones were the favorite! Savory and delicious. Can't go wrong with the red bean (classic) Wish there was a little bit more filling or that the filling was spread more than just the middle but still great. Not the biggest fan of their matcha (little bit bitter in my opinion) The mochi texture was great, nice and chewy. I definitely would recommend eating them right away as the texture will change a little when not hot. Great service!

We had such a great experience at Kem Kem Ice Cream! My kids absolutely loved the fish waffle with chocolate ice cream --not only was it delicious, but the toppings were super creative and perfectly done. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the presentation and the flavors. One of our favorite parts was the family-friendly vibe. They have a dedicated area with board games, which my kids really enjoyed while we relaxed. It's such a thoughtful touch and makes this place stand out as more than just an ice cream stop. Highly recommend for families and anyone looking for something fun, unique, and tasty in the area. We'll definitely be back!

I heard about this place a few months ago. I finally went last Sunday. It was such a hot day. I got earl grey and half Ube soft serve creamy ice cream with Ube filled taiyaki. Taiyaki is Japanese fish shaped waffle like inside is like mochi it was different. I like it. The Early grey is light and Ube is my favorite flavor. It was so good. The owner is really nice lady. She was friendly. When your order is up, you can add topping of your choice. I will be returning and want to try other flavors.

Robert made an amazing fish filled waffle that was so delicious!

Kem Kem Soft Serve at 7753 Roseville Rd, Sacramento, CA 95842 is such a hidden gem at a busy intersection! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with super friendly smiles and fast service -- exactly what you want when you're craving something sweet. Robert, the amazing manager, runs the place with so much care, and it shows. I tried their filled fish waffle with Matcha and WOW it was absolutely delicious -- crispy on the outside, warm and soft on the inside, with that earthy matcha flavor that hit just right. The vibe here is fresh, fun, and welcoming. The menu looks packed with other goodies I can't wait to come back and try soon. If you're in the area, definitely stop by for a treat that's both unique and yummy. So glad this spot opened up in Sacramento -- So Yummy! Will definitely be back again and again!

What a cool experience and fun flavors in a bright, open space! We sampled Thai tea and ube, but were sold on the delicious guava. Sweet, kind, welcoming owners. Will be back to try more!

Stopped by this place this evening for an after dinner treat during their soft opening and had a really good experience. The place is clean, simple, and the staff was super friendly. They let us try a few samples, which was incredibly helpful since we had two kids with us who couldn't make up their minds. Flavors are pretty limited, but the soft serve they do have is pretty good--pretty similar to the frozen yogurt at Yogurt Time, which we already like a lot. Creamy and not too sweet. They also have this fish-shaped waffle thing (a Japanese treat, I think) that you can get stuffed with ice cream or on the side. It's kind of crispy on the outside and soft inside--hard to describe, but it was really good and different from your usual cone. Definitely a nice addition to the area.

Matcha & Ube swirl with a Taiyaki with no filling

What a welcome addition to the very limited food scene in Antelope! My kiddos convinced me to let them get dessert after dinner so I jumped on Yelp and found Kem Kem! It was close to closing on a weekend night but there were still some patrons despite it being freezing outside. The inside was clean and there were a few high top tables available to enjoy the treats and play some board games. I LOVE the big mural wall with paint that looked like sprinkles and ice cream cones. My kids each got an ice cream of their choice plus some toppings and a cookie or pocky stick, all included in the price. The gal filling the cups was also super generous with the portions! I had the matcha and ube swirled with a Taiyaki (fish shaped waffle) with no filling. The Taiyaki was freshly made and warm. The texture was perfectly crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. It complimented the ice cream well because it wasn't too sweet (ultimate Asian compliment for desserts). Matcha and ube was the way to go too, so yummy! The owner chit chatted with us and was super nice. He even let us stay a little past closing because my kids were running around on a sugar high and enjoying themselves. Super glad Kem Kem is here and will definitely be our family's go to dessert spot.

This is such a nice, clean, open spacious place with friendly staff. They have different flavors of the soft serve ice cream, which was a great hit with my kids. I personally liked the Taiyaki as it was freshly made on the spot. We'll definitely come back to try the other flavors. This is a must place to visit also to beat the Sacramento heat!

Love this place. Staff is super accommodating and the soft serve is amazing. You have to get the fish.

Matcha filled Taiyaki with Thai Tea and Ube swirl
    Tracey T.

The staff was so welcoming and helped us decide what flavor soft serve to pick by letting us taste test! My hubby went with the custard filled Taiyaki with milk tea soft serve and I chose matcha filled taiyaki with the Thai tea and ube swirl! They both were delicious and we will definitely be back!

There were a lot of gold accents and beautiful lighting, which absolutely added to the overall vibe of the interior. The entire environment was even calming, peaceful, and comfortable. Sana'a Cafe is in downtown Sacramento, CA…read more I popped on into Sana'a on a weekday for a coffee and something to nosh on. I've been to a Sana Cafe in San Rafael but the first time at this location. They are franchised, independently owned coffeehouses specializing in Yemeni coffee, pasties, and light bites. The staff were direct, cordial and efficient. I asked the cashier what was their best selling drink which he said "everything is good". I believed him. However he had no recommendations. Unsolicited, the other customers in line kindly gave me some. Nice. I choose the Sana'a latte with oat milk. It was creamy and infused with cinnamon, cardamom and ginger. Luved it. Delicious. Drinking this, put me in the zone. I also ordered a ground beef fatayer and baklava. The fatayer was a savory, handheld meat pie with a yeasty dough exterior. The meat was on the dry side but by golly it had flavor. Spiced up! Not hot heat level but packed with flavor. The baklava was a tiny teeny size which surprised me and left me wanting more because it was darn tasty . They also have dessert pastries which looked all so prettily yummy behind the glass counter. Most are made with milk of some sort though. For the lactose intolerant folks, I recommend bringing a lactaid pill and going for it. The interior decor is striking. Bold gold and black colored furniture and opulent chandelier lighting fixtures dominate the room. Fancy. I'm picking up regal, posh vibes. The design aesthetics are similar in all Sana's Cafe. Plus this location is open 6am-midnight everyday. Probably one of the only urban downtown coffee houses open that late for caffeinated night owls. The cafe is a few blocks down K street from DOCO. I don't know how it's like in this area after the sun sets. Just sayin.

I dont have photos of what I got for valentines day but remmeber them being ok but nothing mind-blowing Maybe its just the DOCO one that sucks but I went to give them another chance the day before mother's day and sorely regretted it. I got the matcha croissant ive been hearing about, the new blueberry cream croissant and the mango passionfruit entremet. The Croissants were a huge flop. Blueberry had barely enough filling inside-the cream itself was tasty but croissant was rough in texture and not flaky. Matcha was a bit more flaky and had more filling-I wouldn't say GENEROUS amount as some have said but maybe I just got a bad one. The cream was too subtle -it was more like vanilla with a hint of matcha. The entremet was the only one that didnt suck-it was delicious but again I wouldn't say anywhere in Sacramento has wowed me yet with their entremets compared to places in the bay except for the ones that ginger Elizabeth has had in the past-the flavor itself was on point, i will say the texture of the entremets have a majority layer of the jelly part-if they could perfect the variety of layers you're supposed to get in each bite I would be more impressed as thats the whole point of enjoying an entremet. Honestly I should have just gotten one pastry to try in one day as they are pricey-i paid 31 not including the tip fot my pastries, and in this economy one cannot waste that much on disappointing sweet treats lol
