When we're in the mood for frozen yogurt, we like to visit Yogurt Time. The staff is always friendly, and I really appreciate that they're local young people it gives the place a great community feel. That said, I do have a few concerns. The freshness and restocking could be more consistent. On a few visits, they've been out of certain toppings, and it doesn't always seem like the bar is fully stocked even shortly after opening. For example, I stopped in today around 1 PM (they open at noon), and there was no fresh fruit out yet. The young lady working was already cutting strawberries and hurried to get them out when she saw I was looking for them, which I really appreciated. Still, she mentioned that a few other items wouldn't be available at that time. Ideally, everything should be ready before opening. Also worth noting seating is pretty limited, so it's not the best spot for large groups. Overall, I'll definitely keep coming back. It's a convenient local option and beats the drive to more expensive spots. I just hope to see a little more care and consistency at the topping bar moving forward. read more

We live about 20 minutes away but will make sure we stop by here when we are in the area because of the friendly workers, oh yeah and the great frozen yogurt. Ella is amazing and waves and says hi when we come in now. She is eager to share with us info on the new flavors and offers a sample cup to try. When it comes to craving a cold dessert on a hot day, sometimes frozen yogurt is the way to go when you're not trying to consume all the calories. And based on the high level of 5-star Yelp reviews on this place, I just had to see (and taste) what this place was all about. This is none other than "Yogurt Time Cafe". Conveniently located in a busy strip-mall off of Walerga Rd. & adjacent to Elverta Rd. in the Antelope area of Sacramento, this is one of the only fro-yo places in this part of town. I actually came here before the pandemic began when everything was still operating normally. The interior layout is rather lively with an orange wall that reads "Anytime is...Yogurt Time". There are several self-serving areas with a huge variety of flavors. And as far as the toppings, this place offers pretty much anything and everything you can think of. This includes M&M's, peanuts, graham crackers, sprinkles, gummy bears, well you get the picture. I ended up going plain with a mix of chocolate, vanilla, peanut butter, and caramel while my lady went with vanilla and toppings that included animal cookies, chocolate chips, and strawberry syrup. Prices here are VERY reasonable as both of our cups (which are measured by weight) came out to only around $4 a cup. Not bad since other fro-yo shops like Pinkberry & Menchie's charge quite a bit more per ounce. Overall, this was definitely one of the better places I have been to. And if frozen yogurt isn't your thing, they also offer gelato and Italian sodas. Definitely a great little spot even during the difficult times we are all going through (in 2020). read more

Review #20 for 2022. Yogurt Time is a great little frozen yogurt shop in Antelope outside of Sacramento. This place has 4.5 stars, and I can understand why! The store is locally owned and operated by a family, which means that the service is great. The frozen yogurt is self serve, and there are sample cups to try the different flavors. I opted for peanut butter, pumpkin, and chocolate. The pumpkin is seasonal for the fall, and it was great! There are SO MANY toppings to choose from, including popping boba, chopped fruits, various candies and syrups, and even cheesecake bites. I got mango and strawberries, and of course, I needed a cherry on top. The space is very clean, and there's lots of parking in a shared parking lot. I got to meet the owner and one of his daughters, and they were both a delight! Price for yogurt and toppings is $0.53/oz. Gelato, shaved ice, hot chocolate, and coffee are also available. This place it pretty legit. We stopped by after purchasing a groupon deal and they had really cool flavors like caramel corn and watermelon. They have almost every topping imaginable here. I really enjoy frozen yogurt, but after an experience I had about a year ago, I've been avoiding this place. There was a middle-aged brunette woman who exuded such negative energy. After I sampled a few flavors, she approached me with an attitude and rudely asked if I was planning to buy anything. I was already intending to get some frozen yogurt, but her question felt very disrespectful and made me uncomfortable. I was in town visiting my sister and her family for the long weekend and decided to take the kids out for a treat, so we ended up at Yogurt Time Cafe. This place was tucked away in a shopping center (next to a dentist actually!), but wasn't hard to find at all. The people working were very friendly, greeted us right away, checked on us as we built our yogurts, but mostly left us to ourselves until we were ready. In addition to their standard flavors, which are vanilla, chocolate, and tart, they had some fun ones such as cake batter, cookies and cream, and green apple sorbet. They rotate the flavors weekly, and you can check out their Facebook every Friday for the flavors of the week! They had a good amount of toppings to choose from, with most of the standard options, and a few extras special ones. My niece liked that they had the chocolate shell syrup, which we don't always see. One of my favorite toppings is Reese's PB syrup (which most places have these days), so I'm happy to report that they had it, I ate it, and it was DELICIOUS! There wasn't a ton of seating inside, but we were the only 3 customers that were eating there, so it didn't matter. Lastly, when we weighed our creations to see what the damage was, I only had to pay about $10, and believe you me, those cups were filled pretty good! What time is it? It's Yogurt Time, of course! You can't buy happiness but you can buy yogurt... (where did I read that somewhere before) but that's kinda the same thing, happiness = yogurt... I've not been to a yogurt place I didn't like but my last two visits to a yogurt shop were here at Yogurt Time. To me all yogurt shops are all the same, choices of different flavors and plentiful toppings which you can garnish your froyo. I have my favorite flavors of frozen yogurt and choices of toppings when I visit a yogurt shop but somehow my creation turns out to be just okay or sometimes too sweet. Not sure how I craft it sometimes but fruits and a few choices of chocolate toppings should all taste the same? Anyway, looking at the selection of toppings here at Yogurt Time I was able to put the right combination into a masterpiece and I delighted in eating my dessert. Vanilla flavored froyo and topped with sliced almonds, mini marshmallows, almonds (or peanuts), sliced strawberries, sprinkle of cookie crumble, hot fudge and I think that's it... delicious! If ordering take out or if for some reason you can't finish your yogurt they have lids for the froyo cups so it won't spill all over the place in your car. Love coming to this yogurt shop. Personally, I like it better than Big Spoon or Menchie's. It is located in the Bel-Air shopping center. If you're facing Bel-Air Yogurt Time Cafe is on your left. Plenty of parking. This Yogurt Time located in Antelope is a WEEKLY stop for our family! Yes I am dead serious! Depending on the weekly flavors sometimes twice a week! Because lets be honest, ANYTIME is Yogurt Time! :-) This yogurt cafe is hands-down my favorite! Starting with their AMAZING selection of yogurt flavors that change weekly. I absolutely LOVE that they post their flavors every Friday on their Facebook page. That is honestly how I start my weekend. The flavors can get unique and fun! (Root Beer Float, Dole Pineapple, Cappuccino, Pistachio, Watermelon just to name a FEW) But don't worry if you like to keep it plain Jane they do offer in-house favorites that are always there like Chocolate, Euro Tart and I'm honestly not sure what else because I am usually always trying their delicious new flavors. And when I'm not in the mood to try something new the Euro Tart is my go-to. They have sooo many yummy toppings! My favorites are their mochi, boba popping balls, and fresh fruit. They even have fresh cut mango's and kiwis which are my favorite! Another amazing thing about Yogurt Time is how active they are in the community! used to be good. Sign says they close at 10pm. I drove out there from North highlands and got there at 945. They had already stopped serving and put all the gelato away. When a busines says they close at a certain time, it means they continue to server customers until that time. Once I start making a two mile drive for nothing I probably won't be going back there again. read more

Awesome place. The best customer service, with all of the employees. I've come in different days and was not disappointed. I'm just sad that they no longer have the mini dark chocolate chips. They have sugar free chocolate chips (rectangular and kind of big), but it's not the same. I use the mint cookie crumble to satisfy my chocolate tooth now, so I'm happy about that. They have the best fresh fruit, and more toppings than my go-to place in the south. I'll miss this place when I move. They really make sure to abide by quarantine rules to keep everyone safe. I like their adaptation to the pandemic. Last but not least, they have the absolute BEST TASTING whipped cream. This is a great little spot. They've got everything from amazing flavors of yogurt to shaved ice to Italian sodas to gelato. They've got all their drinks and everything is so well priced. And during COVID-19 they were able to keep their employees working! So they definitely earned all five stars plus about five more! Today it was cherry banana shaved ice and the wife had the new strawberry lemonade sorbet! While sitting in the parking lot and eating our delightful dessert! We happen to notice so many people going in and out! And the two people that were inside they were working there had incredible smiles and great customer service! My son had a talent show at school and since it was a hot day we all decided to stop by Yogurt Time to snack on sum yummy yogurt. Yogurt time is located in the shopping center off Elverta & Walerga right next to Bel Air (great location in my opinion). As we walked in it was very clean and about 10-12 people sitting at the tables and about 3 in line. They also offer tiny cups for tasting which is great. I got me 4 flavors: -blueberry -pistachios -pink lemonade -tart My kids and wife got all kinds of flavors and toppings yummmmaaaa!!! We all got around 9-11 oz each. My flavors were very refreshing especially the pink lemonade & tart. Here's my final review. -great service 5 stars -great choices 5 stars -tons of toppings 5 stars -price 4 stars Will definitely be coming back soon and eat some more yummy yummy yogurt. We are loyal costumers at this place. We come frequently despite winter time or the pandemic. We love the yoghurt and the service. Today I was so shock to see an employee did not wear any mask while serving costumers fro-yo. I asked him why and he said because he was behind the glass wall so he did not need too. I asked him please put on a mask cause he worked with our food. He did but he took it right off after finishing our orders. I wonder how can a food serving place put on the sign asking costumers to wear mask or cover their face while the employee who directly serving the food don't. read more
