Though when I had concerns, they listened and made changes. I was ecstatic when the old roof was torn off and the new one put on all within 5 hours. Then the crew removed all their drop cloths, cleaned up, and used a magnet to pick up nails. Our new roof is beautiful and better than our neighbors because our roof vents look just like our shingles. Mike and Gabriel did an outstanding job. Thank you, Roofing Staff & Remodeling Inc.

They worked on a chimney crown, brickwork & minor tuckpointing above my garage. Very grateful as I had difficulty finding anyone to do any work on my home - apparently the pitch of the roof frightened many contractors off. Not Kerry!! Ricky came out to give me a quote on installing some gutter and downspout warming cables as part of correcting ice dam issues. He was friendly on the phone but as soon as he began mansplaining how a roof works, how ice works, and how switches work, that was a bad sign. He mixed up my appointment for someone else, swore on the phone and was less than professional but he did arrive on time. When he began to tell me how ice dams happen, I said I already knew but he opted to explain it all to me again anyway. When it came time for him to close me, he was intensely pushy. Tried to upsell me on replacing the whole roof right then and there before costs go up. He asked if I was going to explain things properly to my husband or should he type things up. When I said I can explain, he made it very obvious didn't believe me. I ended up having to tell him there was a death in the family (which is true), we'll get back to you but he was not having it. He got heated and said he only comes out for quotes when he thinks he's got a customer, he made all this effort, that I've just wasted his time. He then proffered an insincere apology for saying that but man, he could really use a few customer service lessons. He left a bottle of pop behind, I said be sure to grab it. After already being unpleasant, he said "or you can bring it to me." When I didn't move he said, "or not." True professionalism. These are exactly the type of guys that give contractors a bad name, especially with women. One should never assume what a woman does or does not know. Having decades of architecture experience behind me, I'm pretty sure I get this. Use your best judgment. Updated to add: he is now harassing me by phone. Updated based on the insane response: Ricky is an unbelievable storyteller. I have never read such horrifyingly bad lies, wow. I absolutely did not and never ever would make any comments about anyone's race whatsoever, holy cow. Guess he missed the rainbow flag in my window. When you gotta pull the race card because you are that unprofessional, that's pathetic. Yeah man, wow, you need some serious help if you feel the need to fabricate like this. Play it out for all to read, knock yourself out, it's pretty hilarious actually. I guess it's tough being called out a mansplainer with a short fuse. Oh and free estimates are part of your business; no one is obligated to buy so get a grip, my friend. And feel free to give my father-in-law a phone call, check on his life status. Red flags people, stay far far far away from this business.

It took over a month to complete, and another month for them to clean up after themselves. Overall he had 13 no-shows on scheduled work days. Ricky says this is fine because he got the work done eventually. If you like to be home when contractors are on your property and need to adjust your own work schedule this will be inconvenient. His team had to redo the steps three times but eventually had acceptable work. He took three weeks to come back to seal the concrete. He stopped responding to calls about cleaning concrete stains they left on my patio until he saw my reviews, then came and cleaned them. Ricky takes a lot of jobs, probably too many, and is very busy. Expect delays and frustration, but he'll eventually get your work done if you stay on him and hold him accountable.

Chad kept us informed every step of the way, from what work was being done, to the estimates completion date. When he showed up for the estimate, he gave us some options, took some measurements and we had a written estimate before he left. From approving the estimate to the materials showing up was only two weeks! The crew (Andy and Jack) showed up every day ready to work and did so tirelessly until the end of each day. They asked great questions to make sure nothing got damaged or misplaced, and the finished product was better that we had hoped! All scrap was removed and our yard was left in great condition. The job took six days for removal of old material and installation of new siding, soffit, fascia and gutters. Most importantly, the wife is happy!

The office reached out to me to schedule about a month after I accepted the bid, with a date/time advised by them. Installer came at chosen time, only to state he could not go on roof due to snow. He then rescheduled and returned however halfway into the job, he needed a longer drill bit so called for another installer to bring it. No 2 came and advised that there was no need to "cut the rafter" which was news to me and no need for a longer drill but that another piece of tunneling needed to be ordered. 1st installer returned about a week later with 3rd installer only to state "it might be too cold to get up on the roof today" His helper then stated no, we can do it and a couple of hours later job done. That night the night light in the tunnel was flickering so we gave it another night to charge only to have an overnight disco in our tunnel! NSS contacted and 2nd "no don't cut the rafter installer" returned to remove the nightlight to take it and "have a fiddle with it" to see if he could fix it-a new product should not need repairing! Last night it flickered again however I am not dealing with another visit from NSS- my husband can take a look at it. All in all, not a good experience and I wish I had gone with a different company due to the disorganization and mixed messaging from NSS installers.
