Let me tell you this, the price compared to big name brands are incredible, also they replace the old battery without any charge and take the old one which is a plus. I discovered this place several years ago when I needed a battery for my BMW and found out it was about to cost me almost $400 for a new Interstate battery and still over $300 for the cheapest battery at auto zone. A friend of mine brought me to Kem and I got the battery I needed for $30, $10 of which I believe is the core charge they refund in exchange for the old one. To my amazement, the used battery I got lasted me nearly 5 years of daily use before it began to weaken and I went back to get another one. Recently took my mom here and got a new generic brand battery for her BMW for like $70, which was also an incredible deal. They also let us know the battery that came with the car was the wrong one and gave us the proper size. So far, I have had nothing but great experiences with their batteries and service and I recommend this place to anyone who doesn't want to pay a shit ton for a battery that will only last a few years anyhow read more

Why pay more for a quality battery? Here's why I went to Kem's battery a year ago to purchase a optima for my 67 chevelle and they convinced me to get the multi start since it's their brand and by saying it's the same thing so why pay more .. well within this year I've been back here a couple times with that same battery because I've been having issues .. came here to get a replacement battery and they were like "oh we can't do replacements today boss isn't here" so they suggested I leave the battery for testing n gave me a loaner when I went back to get my replacement they just charged up the old one and gave it back saying it's all good.. come home week goes by the battery is dead.. Then I goto autozone and they tell me the battery they gave me is for a small block and not a big block and that I needed a bigger battery.. so I talk to Oleg at kems and told him that they gave me the wrong battery and this dude insults me and my car saying there's your problem you got a old car and when I told him ive restored it he laughs and says if I restored the Car it would cost over a 100k and pretty much said not our fault the car is modified and said that the warranty expired and I have to pay more if I want a new battery.. 12 month free replacement and 60 month limited warranty is nothing but bullshit!(when asked about the 60 month limited warranty I was told "words are words if the wall says fuck are you gonna fuck ? "-Oleg Lesson learned don't settle for cheap shit! Fuck these Scumbags ! Better off going to Costco ! Always pay for quality! read more
