A great little locally owned hardware store. I've seen some other reviewers complaining about customer service but I have had nothing but good interactions and great experiences. The staff are always super friendly and helpful. If you are in the market for a new grill or smoker they have an awesome selection of Big Green Egg and Traeger smokers with tons of accessories. They also have a loyalty program for charcoal and pellets where you get a free bag after purchasing 8 bags. I've purchased multiple small home repair items and plumbing repair items here over the last couple of years and prices are competitive if not the same as the big box places and online retailers. read more

Since the beginning of the pandemic it's been clear that not one employee that works here cares about the customers that are keeping the place open. Their refusal to simply wear a mask is craziness and there is no protection at all for customers. I went in to buy a mower and left and took my business elsewhere. I know they won't care, but seems like a business that claims to care for their community has done a poor job showing it. read more

Just got home with two clean pooches and 9/10 would recommend. Free pet washing station including shampoo (had regular and a flea and tick one), just bring your own towels. It is in the back store room area so the only traffic is the workers. That was really helpful since one of my dogs go crazy for other dogs. I just tied one up while I bathed the other and the got pets from the staff. You have to make an appointment and have 30 min for one dog, and hour for two. I bathed and towel dried both of mine (medium size) in 30 however. They do have a blow dryer but I didn't use it. The water does get pretty cold if you put the hose down for more than a few minutes. VERY handy and will definitely bring them back. It seems that it will stay free if no one abuses it and cleans up the hair and area after use. As for the rest of the store, clean and tidy. I was amazed at how organized the shelves were and it was very satisfying. I pick up a nice harness on the way out (I must have bought 4 from other stores that I ended up returning because they were cheap or didn't fit) for $22 total. Recommend check this place out for pet supplies and hardware. Around back they had equipment stored that I assume was for rent. read more

I have been in there several times for Stihl equipment and everytime it seems like I'm imposing on the salesmen. I was in there today and they were sitting on the mowers and it seemed like I was bothering them when I had questions and they had to get up. These guys know their products but they lack a good, friendly attitude. I walked out of there disappointed in myself for making a purchase from them. I was going to buy a zero turn mower from them but I won't be. There are some nice people working there but they work on the other side of the store and at the front register. read more

I bought my grasshopper mower back when they where Murfreesboro feed and seed. Do to the quality of Grasshopper, I have not needed to require a lot of maintenance in the past 18 years. Best mower I have ever owned. But as often happens, things and people change over the years. I needed replacement hoses for the hydraulic pumps and as expected with everything over the years, OEM parts no longer exists. So you get from the dealer who they have chosen to make parts like this. I ordered all four hoses for my 225 and when I got them home I had an issue with one of them having damaged threads and so I called them back , by the way, I never wanted a free replacement since I did not check all the hoses when I picked them up. Just wanted to order a replacement hose. When I called Keltons and was connected to parts department, I was greeted by a young man who I met when I picked up my parts the day before (who could not handle my issue and was handed over to someone else). He was in my opinion very disrespectable and rude when I told him what my issue was. I had just been there the day before as I told him, but He seemed to be on the defense about my issue. I will never go back to this business for anything in the future. Lucky stop!!! Was really thinking they wouldn't have a big selection for dogs but I was way wrong!!! I have had the hardest time finding my dogs treats by Zukes and they carry them, along with the pill pockets I always get! Their organic food selection for dogs is outstanding. They carry it all! I go in to use the free dog wash station since hubs won't let me wash her in the tub at home. Could it be bc he had to unclog the drain of dog hair?! Keltons is so good! Call ahead to make your 30 minute appt, bring ur own towels. I bring my dog's shampoo,too, but u can also use theirs. I have bought a few items there but other stores are usually a little less expensive. read more

Not helpful if you need advice...parts are priced through the roof....i was told a hydro could not be rebuilt and therefore trusted them and paid almost 600 dollars for the hydro...later found out the hydro can be rebuilt with a 38 dollar kit and so i would advice going to Hoppers in murfreesboro, as i have been helped there and been given good advice from those folks with my commercial mower i bought at Keltons. Also, if you come in at lunch time don't expect Mr. Kelton to get off his ass to help a paying customer! read more
