To be fair, I will discuss both the positives and negatives. Positives: This business offers an option to board your dogs in the Nashville area that has, at least, a little bit of exposure to the outdoors. There are not many options close to the city. The most positive aspect of the kennel is the quality and friendliness of the staff. Negatives: I think this business is overshadowed by thinly veiled deception. The pictures on the site show dogs swimming in pools or playing in outdoor spaces. One needs to dig to discover that this kennel only guarantees to put your dog in a kennel with two undefined "walks" a day. To have your pet play with other dogs or swim in the pool, you must pay for each experience per day. Be sure to take a walk in the facility before committing your dog to stay there. A walk in the compound will reveal countless unhappy dogs barking at you for attention. This reminds me of visits to maximum security prisons. I dropped my dogs off and they were quickly overheated. This was on a Thursday. On Friday, I wanted an update of their health and a picture of them in the pool or play area. There was no response. If you check the kennel hours and times for staff response, they are highly restricted. The prices for putting your dog in a hot kennel with minimal interaction is $69 per day, per my experience as the base line price. I find this overpriced. Then they charge additional fees for things like playing with other dogs. I found this practice to be deceptive and insulting. I will never return to this facility. I can only thank the kind staff who work in a deceptive, potentially harmful, business model. Pet Resorts of America Nashville should be ashamed to be a business. You have the opportunity to do much better.

Something happened to our dogs while they were there and the boarding facility didn't inform us as to what happened. Our labs eyes were bloodshot. They were both exhausted and severely dehydrated. Then a day before the owner reached out to ask how does she get to my apartment complex downtown since she typically doesn't work downtown due to parking (which I get since it can get annoying) so I explained how I can pay for valet parking and meet her in the garage to help her- d and she said "ok that's perfect!" Then on the morning of the groom she never showed up, I sent her text after text and no response and called a bunch of times. And I never heard a word!! Which was pretty strange I truly thought something maybe happened to her and I would hear from her the next day she had some emergency. But nope nothing!!!! Fast forward to today, I get a confirm my next appt text from this company and I was SHOCKED! Like you didn't even have the decency to call me back when you stood me up! So I said that. And then this owner made up a whole lie how she texted me and I never got it (yeah right) and she didn't answer my calls that morning because "I'm not a client" which makes no sense since she was supposed to be at my home grooming my dog! I just couldn't believe it!!! So I just wanted to warn people that unfortunately the professionalism is just not there with this business.

I get HOURS OF MY LIFE BACK PER WEEK + my dog wants to come to me when called since I'm not tanking on his mats all the time. Hind site, standard poodles are a LOT of work - noted - but I went thru a 2 month solid period of bad advice, bad brushes, so much time wasted and the heartache of watching the mats grow and your dog uncomfortable- the all th YANKING on the mats that won't come all the way out. I don't know how, but Alyssa got all the mats out, my dog is super soft and now I only have to brush him 10 minutes a day. We did add $135 per month expense for having a groomer come to our home but the alternative is 16 hours per month of yanking on my dogs mats. It was actually damaging our relationship and now hes more than happy to come when called UPDATE: 2nd groom, Alyssa DIDNT DISAPPOINT! She was here a llllong time, did nails, checked glands, did inside ears, washed for like an hour almost, blow out - she's just a pro!! 4/4/2020 review - thank you Alyssa for handing our 50lb Standard poodle like a boss! We had Alyssa come out - I get it - even tho we're all quarantined but, she'd been in the house for a few weeks like us, only to the store for food and she just stayed in our bathroom - safe for everyone - So Tux my pup KEEPS GETTING MORE AND MORE ADORABLE - She gave him the Asian Fusion poodle cut - each time Alyssa comes, Tux's cut brings us so much joy, he's so cute and soft after she leaves it's like laughter and smile therapy and so since we felt like she was taking the same precautions we are we had her come on our monthly schedule - just use wisdom and prudence to decide it was safe for all concerned. I'm not sure how they did it, but her ears looked amazing, her nails were ground down, and she was so unbelievably soft. I seriously just don't know how they do it! Their prices are comparable to PetSmart, so it is worth it to support my local small business. Especially with these uncertain days of late. You can also sign up to receive emails and to keep up to date on specials they may have. Just a note, for now, picking up and dropping off is all done curbside. Unfortunately, we had such negative history with groomers for our feisty one, we were super concerned who would groom him! Mandee never once thought twice about grooming our Fritz. She does such a thorough job and they look amazing! Her attention to detail and making sure our dogs were comfortable was outstanding! It's a total plus that our boys don't have the stress of a car ride to the groomer and the distraction of other dogs. I highly recommend her!

She even trimmed my neighbors dogs nails without an appointment when she drove by and asked! I have used other mobile grooming services before, and this was by far our best experience. She was the perfect Mix of great work, but yet efficient with her time. Our dog looked exactly as I had requested, in the amount of time she had estimated. She was very helpful with tips and knowledgable of the breed, which I appreciated. We already have our next appointment booked. Very happy customer here, and so proud to be helping out a local business owner :)
