Very poor service. Was told I could place an order for an item that was sold out at the Murfreesboro store. Waited in line at customer service quite a while before I was able to place the order with a very nice representative. She was very thorough, I paid for my order, and was assured it would be delivered from the Lebanon store Same day. 24 hours later, nothing. I called the store and spoke with a less helpful very Kurt representative who assured me that my order had been canceled immediately after I've been placed - I had paid for it - and she claimed I had received an email. They had the correct email address and the correct phone number and I had heard nothing. I am very irritated and won't be shopping there anytime soon. Absolutely terrible, i ordered a dishwasher from them April 14th. They sent out a plumber that created a water leak and destroyed my cabinets. I had to pay my own plumber to come out and fix this issues. My cabinets are still water damaged and I still don't have my dishwasher. It's may 23rd. I have 2 insurance claims with them over the damage. I haven't heard from them in over 10 days after multiple contact attempts thru phone and email. I definitely don't recommend ever. They send out unprofessional people to do piss poor work. Even the plumber they sent out told me he wasn't a plumber ut simply a technician. Still have water damage from them and still don't have my dishwasher over a month later. Do not buy from them. Update on this dishwasher, i still haven't received it. No one has even come to look at the water damage. Home depot has pushed it off to 3 different insurance companies. I still have water damage and now I have black mold growing in my kitchen from them. It's now June 6th and I ordered this dishwasher April 14th. If I could rate 0 stars I would. Absolutely abysmal customer service. Long review but worth reading. I couldn't make this stuff up. Purchased a washer and dryer with pedestals. Waited for the first delivery and one of the pedestals was literally crushed on the bottom. Back goes the delivery. Second try, box off of the washer, it looked as if the washer was rolled down a hill; no joke. We decided to keep the dryer, even with a little dent on the back, and the two pedestals because they weren't damaged. So now I call the appliance manager and ask what is going on. He said Home Depot has no control over the appliances, which may be true, but he was so unprofessional that it raised by blood pressure. He gave me a phone number and said that I might as well call instead of him because they'd give me the same answer as him. WTF. Unreal. After two screwed up deliveries you would think there would be a little bit of trying to solve the issue but not with this crew. Ok, third delivery the washer had deep gouges, not scratches. The delivery guys hooked up the washer temporarily but would not hook up the dryer sitting in my great room, which, by the way, is approximately 15 feet from the laundry room. Did I mention they installed the washer? See pics. This is their idea of installation. Plain sad. So next my wife goes to speak with the store manager and was told, once again, there was nothing they could do. The manager told my wife that she would call her back tomorrow. Nope. We had enough. We told them to come and take everything out of our house and refund our money. I will never set foot in a Home Depot again (it's a shame because that was my store). We purchased the same setup from another retailer and waited less than one week, compared to the three weeks from Home Depot with nothing to show for it, and everything was right the first time. I ordered a stackable LG washer dryer to be delivered and installed. This entire ordeal was a mess. The Home Depot employees couldn't help so I was forced to order online. The website doesn't show the "stackable railing kit" when you purchase a stackable item. That makes sense right? The washer was dented and the lady I spoke to was rude and crass. The delivery guys were great but there was nothing they could do. I can not believe I only got $100 back for a huge dent in the washer. I will never have something installed by Home Depot again after this. No one even attempted to make it right. Oh! And here's a real fun part of this whole experience, I wasn't able to leave a survey. Kitchen pantry installation. Design was done and signed off on. Expected ETA was 14 weeks. 20 weeks later the installers show up - destroyed the walls. There was no care in pulling out the wire racking, they just yanked on it. We needed to actually repair - not small patch over the drywall. The design team measured 3 times, apparently that wasn't enough as the unit didn't fit. The installers left the rest of the pantry in pieces and left. Designer came back 2 weeks later and we were told our corrections would be put on a rush as our house was now strewn about with pantry items and construction materials. Slow forward 12 more weeks and the installers still didn't have all of the shelves and were missing the baseboard. Now Home Depot is staying that the project will stay incomplete because they sold us something they don't actually make. We can leave the project unfinished or they will come back and rip it out. I am thoroughly disgusted with this experience and would not let anyone I know use them again. Stay away!! read more

We were just here last night, had the best experience with April. She helped us with figuring out which type of flooring types. She was very energetic, up-beat and had a smile on her face from the moment we asked for help. Wow! We left later on to check out other options on vinyl flooring but about 30 minutes later we came right back and told her we liked her recommendation. She also helped us figure out a complementing shade for our walls. This lady knows her STUFF! She also showed us photos of how one of her rooms looked with the color she had. Ms Debbie was also a delight. She was at front desk. She was like the mom of the other employees. She had the southern charm. She helped us with a few issues on our transaction with our Home Depot Card. Although it was time for closing at 9pm, she did not rush us at all. We made about 3 trips that day and talked to other workers who kinda helped us out ... but out of all of them, April and Debbie were freaking awesome!!!! So I give Home Depot 5 stars. We can't wait to come back to find more great items from here. Hopefully we run into the ladies again on our next visit! Thank you! read more

This review is for delivery specifically. I ordered several large construction items to my home through this Home Depot. While the delivery fee is $80 and I had to wait a couple weeks for the items, I was impressed by the service of the workers. First off, a few of my items were damaged and I was called to confirm if I was okay with an upgraded item. Second, the delivery man moved the large items into my backyard for me using a forklift. My husband and I assumed they would have been just dropped off in the front yard and we would have had to move them ourselves, but were so grateful that wasn't the case. The main downside was the 6 am to 8 pm window. This would require most people to take a whole day off work for a 10 minute event. Thankfully, I did receive a 20 minute heads up phone call. Hopefully this review can help you weigh the pros and cons of ordering a delivery. My husband and I would definitely order again. read more

i ordered online and it gave an option of delivery on the same day. it gave a notification that it's going to be delivered and it's in transit. it says somebody has to stay home bec signature is required. So we did. Guess what ? nothing was delivered. The next day we called and a manager named Delena says they cant do anything about it bec it's online and there's no driver available!! The Black Friday Sale I was able to purchase the Samsung kitchen suite at a great price. To get all 4 great products for a little over 3k plus install and haul away was just Perfect for my budget. Of course that left me with a little more cash in my pocket to pick up some laminate flooring and a few other things needed for my outside yard. The Associate's at both department was very friendly and helpful with the questions I had for them. We purchased new carpet through Home Depot and the installation crew they contracted with did not install it well. The stairs are wavy and not tacked well. We put up with some unprofessionalism while the crew was installing, but we overlooked it. However, the calls to the installation team and Home Depot yielded nothing. I just experienced the best customer service I have had in a long time at Home Depot in Murfreesboro. I took my 78 year old mother there to buy a new lawn mower. Robin, a Home Depot employee, greeted us as we walked down the mower isle. She took great care in explaining all the differences and features of each mower. She explained how to care for the mower, when and how to change the air filter. She even opened the box, assembled the mower, and pushed it to the customer service desk so we could check out. She even helped load it in our vehicle. We drove home saying "wow!" You need many more like her! Robin was awesome! read more

This is a really great Home Depot. The staff is friendly and usually are knowledgeable about the layout of the store and what tools I might need. They are also well stocked. The one thing I did not have a great experience with was ordering blinds. I went with home depot because a friend mentioned that they were easy, fast, and would cut your blinds to fit your windows. I thought, perfect. It was easy to order in the store, and the guy came out to measure our windows relatively quickly. However, getting in the actual blinds were not fast. They told us that they would call us when the blinds came in. They didn't. We stopped by the store to ask about them and the woman we spoke with really didn't want to look up our order because she kept repeating that they would call us. Turns out, the blinds were there but they had some damage, so another 10 days we had to wait. Cool. The next time the blinds came in, still no phone call. We called and finally got someone scheduled to install. They did cut them for us. I'm saying all this not to deter you from going to Home Depot for blinds. Just know that after you order your blinds, you will probably be without privacy for another month. And make sure you call them. Don't wait for them to call you. read more

I can't believe that I just had to change my five star review to a one and now think I'm never going to go back. I have been going to Home Depot and Home Depot only for my entire life. We woke up to a puddle of water in the kitchen to find out our dishwasher is leaking and bad. That's very unfortunate but at least it happened right before Black Friday. I had to work so I sent my wife with the truck to buy the dishwasher. The lady tells my wife that we can't order and pay for it and just pick it up at the store but that it HAS to be delivered and we HAVE to pay 60$ additional for the delivery. My wife explained over and over that we dont want it delivered that we want to pick it up. The lady continues to tell my wife she is sorry but our purchase (that is on sale) doesn't cost enough money and since it doesn't that we have to have it delivered and have to pay for it. Now my wife has to call me at work and ask me what to do. I tell her I guess to just call Lowes but I hate that idea since I am a loyal customer of Home Depot and have always had exceptional service. She calls Lowes and gets the same appliance for 5$ more than Home Depot and said they would call us when the appliance gets there and we can just come pick it up. Here's the worst part. She gets off the phone and tells the lady "I guess we are going to Lowes". The lady says "ok have a nice day". What a wonderful way to win over a customer. read more

I ordered two items from Home Depot that were supposed to be delivered to my home by April 26th. I tracked it and the packages sat in Nashville for 4 days. I finally called home depot and spoke to a rep (who was nice and did a great job). She indicated that Estes shipping was supposed to call me to setup and appointment for delivery. Crickets! So this morning I called Estes and they tell me someone will call me for delivery time. Five hours later...no call. I am done with Home Depot. In the future...going back to Amazon or Lowes. I bought an electric mower there, and on the 95th day, the motor burned out. They have a 90 day return policy, so I was out of luck. It costs $50 to have the problem diagnosed, plus shipping to return to the manufacturer. Then, if they decide the mower isn't covered under warranty, you have to pay to have it returned to the store. I was really disappointed with the service I got in the Murfreesboro Home Depot doors department. They sent out a company to measure for the door and he did not take into account that filler wood had been added by the previous owner of the house that could have easily been removed. So I ended up having to special order a door and change to a security door instead of a storm door, which is what I really wanted. They told me that it was going to take 2 weeks to get the door, which I thought was an extremely long time, but it ended up taking 3 weeks for the door to come in and another week for it to be installed by this inept installation company. Very poor service. It does not make me want to do business with them again for anything that requires professional service. read more

i have never wrote anything like this before but i think it is neccesary to unmask the giant. on march 9th 2016 me and my wife went to this home depot to get some fencing material. my wife did not see the misplaced gutter guard that was protruding out of the shelf 1 1/2 feet (when it should of been in a box) . my wife cut her finger and received 12 stitches. (my wife now has permanent damage to her finger and cannot move it). an employee was in the same aisle when the accident happened. why he didnt see the putruding guard before my wife got cut i dont know. i asked the employee to call a manager. he came back with 3 managers. the managers told me to go to the emergency room and that they would take care of all the hospital bills. they refused to give me an incident report when i asked. they refused to give me there names also. i took their word for it since my wife was bleeding everywhere. the med bill came in for $2k-3k and now their coperate office is refusing to pay. at 1st they would call me 2-3 times a week to check up and reassure us the bills would be paid no problem. the bill came in. now its our problem. they are refusing to pay! they stated they are a self insured company and thats to much money. according to them it is now our fault. what really bothers me the most is that all 3 managers are lying and state they never offered any med assist. if that was true why did corporate call and ask us if we had gotten the bill yet so they can pay them. they also asked if i was going to get a lawyer. another home depot employee at their corporate office even went as far as asking me if i took pics off the gutter guard. she said if i did not have any pics, how can i prove their was really a gutter guard there in the 1st place. excuse me? my wife was bleeding all over the place and the last thing on my mind was taking a picture! i didn't plan on having to prove the obvious. by the way, the 1st thing your manager did when he came on the scene was yank that protruding gutter guard off the shelf. (go figure) i told corporate to go to the video footage. oh and by the way. the security camera on that aisle was broken that day. so nothing was recored according to home depot. i have been going to home depot for the last 25yrs and from now on im going elsewhere. we do have med insurance but its only covers 1/4 bill due to high deductible. im not asking for a pity party. just venting because i can. moral of the story. check your surroundings and take pictures of everything before you go into home depot because if something falls off a shelf and kills /hurts you , your on your own! score- 1 for the multimillion dollar giant 0 for your average hard working citizen. read more

Do not order flooring from this company. We thought that it was going to be the easiest part of our project but ended up being the worst. We were going to carpet only a portion of our new room and tile the rest so that is what we had the measurer measure out. Then we decided to carpet the entire room instead. We went up to order in person so that the change could be relayed with no mistakes. Well when the carpet arrived it was the amount from the original order, which was wrong because we wanted the entire room carpeted. This delayed our project another week! We also received no compensation for the mistake. Only a bunch or BS about how much carpet should have been ordered. They failed to send the new calculation back to the Calculations department so that it would be accurate. Then they tried to blame it on the Calculation department, making them pay for the mistake. I will never buy flooring from them again. I will be paying off my credit card and trashing it too! read more
