Not wanting to tear out drywall I wanted a fan box that laps onto the joist. My go to is usually Lowes. While picking up the box I grab some other supplies. I was not able to find what I was looking for. Lowes now has sparsely located some buttons to call for help. Help arrive after a bit of a wait. The associate was "ambushed" by three people as I watched down the aisle. He was polite and very helpful. We found the only box in a box and I was on way. In the parking I decide to open the box to see if it were complete. The box was only usable on the edge of a 2X but my joists have a 3x facing down. The box won't fit. So I went back to customer service and exchanged the box in a box for my $5.68 back. I headed off to Home Depot who had the correct Universal box. Lowe's selection for home retrofit projects is getting limited.

When I arrived, there were no shopping carts available even though there weren't many people shopping. I couldn't locate the specific item needed, and when I finally located an employee to help me, he brushed me off. After waiting for further assistance for 15+ minutes, I walked out and purchased the product online. Disappointed by this experience as I prefer to shop in store when I can, but it just wasn't worth it in this case.

Tuesday morning I calling around to find the element. Since it was out of a newer unit no one in TN. had it. Frazier offered to locate the part. An hour or so later he called me back. He had located the part and could have it the next day! Wednesday the 22nd Frazier delivered the part to my home. Christmas cooking was back on. Frazier said he could do it and he did! Awesome job.

Frazier's Appliance Repair of Murfreesboro, TN, was recommended to us by a couple in Walter Hill,…read moreTN. We had an issue with our refrigerator that has the freezer on the bottom. We knew that he did the work rather quickly. We asked, are you finished? He said yes. Well, Mr. Frazier lied. He didn't fix our refrigerator. Not only did he not fix it, he didn't even know what was wrong -- the root issue. We called Mr. Frazier to let him know the next morning we woke up with water all over our real wood floors. Our hardwood floors are damaged -- now to the point of mold. The floor is sinking under the fridg from the water damage. Mr. Frazier said he'd be back to fix it. We've never seen him again. He often visits one of the pawn shops on Broad Street. He saw us, twice, and didn't even realize that he swindled us. He has no integrity. He has no conscious. Do you know what the problem was? A little black plastic piece, called a bug stop. As appliances sit in a warehouse, the bug stop prevents bugs from getting in the new appliances. Most stores delivering new appliances don't know to remove it. Thus, it creates frozen ice backup, which creates a huge layer of ice on the bottom of the freezer, which then melts and seeps out onto the floor. We filed a BBB complaint. Mr. Frazier did not respond. We are know contacting the State of Tennessee to file a complaint with Frazier Appliance Repair of Murfreesboro, TN, with the licensure board. It is hope to not have to go to court to have have our floor replaced that was damaged. Treat people like you want to be treated.
