We walked their on site supply of stone pieces with a sales person and lucked into a large quartz remnant that was a perfect color match for the stone we were using for the fireplace. Due to the size of the remnant, the final hearth had to be cut into 3 pieces. Each piece was perfect, artfully arranged, and, once the install was complete, the seams are virtually invisible. We were very happy with the service, support and product from IntelliStone, and would very much recommend them. Service appointments were on time, communication good, every aspect of their support was reliable, professional, and quality.

The designer I talked to there could not have been more rude. She first interrupted me as I was explaining what I was looking for to say that the minimum fee would be a $1000. I said that was fine, but then asked if that included remnants she then rudely said that if I wanted a 1" by 1" square of granite, it would be $1000. I thought ok, as I did need quite more than that... I then showed her pictures of the project explaining how there was granite in the adjoining kitchen that I knew would be impossible to match so I wanted something noticeably different but coordinating. She quickly said that she recognized the granite I had, so I said, "oh really, do you perhaps have some of that on hand?" Here's condescending response was that they might, but they generally only install it in very old homes. I then asked if we could take a look at their remnants outside, to which I was told I needed to sign a waiver to walk out there with her and literally said, "if a piece of granite falls on you, it's your fault not ours, so please don't sue us." Once outside she indicated a remnant as the one I currently have, you know the one only old, outdated homes have... I looked and it was nothing like the granite I had shown her in my pictures, nit even remotely similar. Not sure why I was even still talking to this woman, but I looked at all they had outside which consisted of mainly whites, Grey's and blacks. i was looking for warmth... both in terms of color scheme and personality. Honestly, at tgat point if I had found exactly what I wanted, there is no way I would have done business with them. Thankfully, IntelliStone has competition in Franklin. 10minutes later I was talking to the most friendly and helpful lady at The Granite Place who took me back into their shop so I could see everything they had (no waiver by the way). They had very nice selection and were very accommodating. Sorry I even wasted my time at IntelliStone. It will never happen again, nor would I ever recommend them.

DO NOT use this company, unless you want to deal with them coming back 3 or 4 times before the job is done somewhat professionally. They just do a bad job, make a mess, and don't apologize for anything. Let me list a few of the problems. For the tile floor: 1. They installed the tile very crooked and with tons of gaps in the grout. 2. They had to come back, completely tear up the floor, and install it again. 3. They left a huge mess, grout footprints on my new vinyl flooring that wouldn't come out. For the vinyl floors: 1. They installed it so I couldn't easily open and close the front door. 2. There was a gap in the floor by the front door, and their "fix" was to put caulk in it. 3. They installed the baseboards that had chips in it and need to be replaced. 4. They left a mess... gum on the counter, trash on the couch, white residue everywhere, scuffs on the floor, dirty sink, dirty stove.

This is our 2nd house to use Duff's Blinds Custom Window Treatments. Both times we have been taken…read moreso well care of. During COVID, of course, like all other businesses the manufacturing of the Window Treatments have taken a week or so more for a specific item. However, it positively is worth the wait and I am pleased with every single window treatment. The best part of using Duff's is I don't have to worry or think about anything once I call to place an order. The measurements are promptly taken, and I get help picking out the specific type of window treatment, and then I can take it off of my to-do list because in a few weeks every window will be complete. All I have to do is open my door to let the window treatments come in to be installed. We have a variety of kinds of treatments and all are spectacular. Since the company has grown from the first time we used it, additional staff has been hired to help with installation. And the hired staff installers were in and out of our home in know time. I love that the company takes such pride in doing great work and helping me to pick out or suggest a particular kind of window treatment for a room based on its purpose. For example, we have beautiful roller blinds in two windows that allow light to come into the home but doesn't allow someone outside to see in. We have two honeycomb blinds in rooms that were getting a lot of sun; these have cut down on the temperature change. And in our media room we installed blackout honeycomb blinds that absolutely work --when down the room is totally blacked out and a great for movie night. In most other rooms and garage we have the regular high quality white faux wood blinds. We had these in our first home and these ended up being our favorite! I highly recommend them for any room and they really go with any decor. And I will be calling them back to door our southern shutters for our dining room as soon as we are ready. We had some of these shutters in our first home and it is a capital investment in your home that increases your homes value. These shutters really impress buyers!
