True Mark is the best! They did our kitchen in 4 weeks, coming in at our budget. The crew was on time everyday with a smile and positive demeanor. They were great from beginning to end. They designed our layout and brought in material options based on our style so we didn't have to hunt around. It turned out beautifully. One concern with construction is always the mess and dirt that travels throughout the house. This was NOT the case with Daryl and his crew. The dust was very well contained and vacuumed daily, plus these guys were on their hands and knees cleaning the covered floors with a sponge often. It truly was a pleasure to work with True Mark! We chose TrueMark Construction to redo our kitchen (including moving walls), flooring, master bathroom, and more - basically the whole house! They were recommended word-of-mouth and we really liked their sense of style compared to many other companies. We met with Daryl and Shelbie and really liked their energy, preparedness, and the way they ran the construction process. They are an all-in-one shop where Daryl handles all the construction and Shelbie handles design and organizes the purchases. They fully design, price, and confirm ability to source products BEFORE construction so there are no surprises or disappointments. To start the process, Darryl assess the renovations you want, then Shelbie assesses design reference materials and meets with you to get a sense of your desires and your style. She and her team then go back and put together a design. I have to say, they really nailed it! One thing I was very nervous about was not liking the products they brought and having to go back multiple times. That was not the case at all. Shelbie saw my reference pictures and house and totally nailed materials we loved. Daryl is amazing - he remembers every little detail and he is extremely detail oriented both in construction and design. We never worried that he would make a bad decision which is amazing to say for a construction company. He worries about symmetry and lines matching up and aesthetics on top of doing top notch construction. Daryl himself does amazing tile work. They scheduled our construction soon after the design and whole house remodel was completed within 2 and a half months! We have a whole new house and it is beautifully done. The only hard part was the budget. With everything we aspired to do, the initial quote was way over our original budget, however TrueMark was great in figuring out the right things to get the budget to a place we were comfortable while still accomplishing the most possible upgrades. They are very flexible and good at asking questions to find out what is most important to you. Additionally, the ONLY extra charge at the end was for extensive electrical repairs that weren't expected (maybe 1-2k over out of 150k+ project!). They never charge extra for anything else - even asking for special custom things like speaker wiring and special shower shelf, etc. Anything Daryl could do, he went above and beyond. It was a lot of money for us (but on par for market values as we had some similar companies refuse to even quote for our original budget) but we do not regret a single penny because the end product is so well done, high quality work. We paid for exquisite work, a completely no-stress process with lots of trust and communication, and great design. They treat the project like their own home in all aspects.
