I have always been very happy with all of them, until now. I provided an image and asked for that look and style. She said she could recreate the look. She told me that the image was a specific technique. I just told her that everyone that had previously done my hair and used that image had highlighted it and also possibly done low lights. She insisted that it was balayage. She charged me $357.50. While she was doing my hair, I noticed things that didn't seem right, but I'm not a hair stylist so I didn't want to question her. Now, I am regretful I didn't say anything because I absolutely hate my hair and completely feel taken advantage of. My hair was patchy and bronzed color at the bottom near my neck and scalp, when I asked her about it, she gave me the excuse that it happens when covering greys. I only had greys on the top, not on the bottom. When I told her that I had concerns she dismissed my concerns and only wanted more money. I told her that I wasn't happy with the blocks of uncolored/processed hair. When she was working on my hair, she pulled the foil, leaving a large gap. This is the absolute worst. Almost as bad as the time that I went to the beauty school to have them do my hair. Only this is probably worse since I over paid for terrible hair that I absolutely hate. I tried to see if she was willing to fix it and she clearly dismissed my disappointment. So, I will just learn from this experience, but being taken advantage is never something people should go through.

She listened to what I had wanted, and I got just that! I walked out feeling relaxed, and my cut and style were perfect. I cannot recommend her, and the salon, enough. The salon is located nearly 1.5 hrs. from my home, but it was very much worth the drive. I will be returning. The atmosphere had a warm and welcoming vibe, as did Paige. There are SO many empty spaces on most of the shelves, and from what I can see, stock has not been replenished in a LONG time. If you really need something, go to a different Ulta. This one will probably not have it.
