There are only 6 parking spots, lol, that go in one direction., so when you leave you have to back out. It's a pickle! I'm not sure where you park when this area is full. Cute, cozy, friendly spot full of locals relaxing and having drinks. I asked, wheres the grilled burgers? The lady replied, we haven't served burgers in weeks. However, you can buy a hot dog from their rotisserie. No thank you, this is not what I expected. They are Backyard Bar minus the Grill part. FIVE STARS because they are doing great as a local bar. While we were there, all the workers were respectful, kind, smiling, helpful. We actually stopped in with family members who wanted to stay near us. We popped in and were lucky enough to get a room for the night. We couldn't have been greeted more friendlier by every person that works in this beautiful resort. My family was given a room promptly. What a pleasant surprise that they had a few openings. We were graciously upgraded to a beautiful gulf side suite. For our family it was their first time there. My husband and I have stayed there once before we purchased our home when it was previously owned. The old name was the Wanna B Inn. . But let me say this the upgrades and the amenities that are at theresort are like no other You don't have to worry about renting bikes, kayaks, chairs, boogie boards. They even have a golf area, pickle board, chairs to lounge you name it they have it. If you don't see it ask they will promptly make it happen for you. The Wanna B Inn made us fall in love with Manasota key. The main reason why we bought in Englewood Florida. However, this resort will make us always come back to stay. The Manasota key resort will be out stay-cation for many years to come. Thank you to the staff/owners for working so hard to bring back this magical place we call home.
