My boyfriend Josh LeBlanc bought a bike here and they forgot to put oil in it before they released it to him. The bike seized after 90km and they want him to pay to replace the engine, which is going to cost $3000, because they are accusing him of tampering with it. The bike was locked up the entire time he was in possession for less than 2 weeks before it seized during his first ride on the highway. This store is not friendly. Unless you have a lot of extra money and want to buy things without haggling you best not go here. This store is not for average people. It is a "privileged" or "upper class" store. The prices are high the items are few and the staff are rude and unfriendly to average people. If you don't drive a BMW or Mercedes then you will definitely not get good service. If you drive a Ford or a GMC you will have a fight on your hands to get service and if you drive a KIA the staff will ignore you. There are better stores in Burlington. read more

Took Motorcycle in for a safety, it took them over 1 month to finally do a safety on the bike. I am reasonable and called supplier who said part was held up at boarder but they also said Larry, from Kelly Cycle Center picked it up one week prior to that. Hmmm. When I got the bike back the service engine light was on as pointed out to me by the service manager, he said it would go out in a minute, it never has gone out since. When the bike was taken in the service engine light was not on at all, when I called him about it he said they don t handle these issues. Also on my right exhaust there are 3 new fresh gouges vertically on my chrome pipes. Have pics of bike before I took it in without any scratches. I will consider small claims court to pursue damages but will it be worth the time off work to pursue? What to do? Eat costs myself? Or hope Kellys will reach out and try to remedy my issues with them and my bike...time will tell. If they do remedy the issues I will be sure to reflect that in a new review. Also very pricey charged me for fluid for what IDK? Charged me $49.95 plus $14 for online ordering for a part that costs $30, I guess its buyer beware. read more

Everytime I called Paul Bees seems to be upset and tells me he has no room for my products to be serviced, and offers no future date of when i can bring it in, and no solution for me. I work as a professional in a service industry and have never been greeted or pushed away from a place like this guys makes you feel. I've been to Kelly's a few times for work on my older Yamaha motorcycle. Brian from the service department is a helpful and friendly person. Turn-around times are reasonable, within a few days throughout most of the season (depending on the kind of work, of course). The labour rate is comparable to surrounding bike shops. Nobody likes to have to shell out $$ to get things fixed, but every exchange I've had has been a good one so far. I'll keep going back myself. Kelly's was recommended to me by a friend, and I'll recommend it to my friends. read more

Has anyone ever had a good experience dealing with Kellys Cycle Centre? I know I have not, despite giving them several chances, and it is the same with numerous people I have spoken with. It is not hard to tell where the poor customer service starts, as two of my bad run-ins were with the owner! This morning he actually said to me, I own a Yamaha and they are the closest dealership, but I will drive hours to avoid dealing with this shop. BTW, zero stars was not an option. read more

Went to Kellys cycle to fix my Polaris ATVs even though it was a Yamaha dealer. They told me they could fix Polaris. I dropped off my ATVs in early December for service. I told them the problem with one of them (green ATV), shutting off on its own mid-ride. The other we just needed a tune up (red ATV). They said they would take a look. After diagnosing the green ATV for 3.5 hours (what i was billed for), they decided that the starter was at fault. After replacing the starter, it still did not start, and they diagnosed that it may have been the battery. They replaced the battery and it started. This whole process cost me over $600.00. A bit of a rip off, but big deal. For the second ATV (red), they did the same thing, put in a new starter, and a new battery, even though it started just fine. They charged me over $700 for something that was not needed. We got this ATV back as it worked fine and only needed a tune up even though we were charged for unnecessary repairs. After getting both back, the green one immediately had the same problem. We told them they did not fix the problem and sent the ATV back. After taking it apart and charging us for more diagnostics, they couldn't find the problem and the ATV was just sitting there for months. We were at a stalemate. After months of back and forth calls, and getting nowhere, we told them to put the green ATV back together and tow it to a separate mechanic because I was fed up. They claimed to have put a new air filter and harness in, but we can assure you neither were replaced. After he told me he would have it ready for pickup and put back together on Thursday, we ended up sending a tow truck six days later on Wednesday because it wasn't ready for pickup(Late March). They also sent it back all taken apart with two cardboard boxes with the contents of the engine filling both boxes.... Very unprofessional. This all after the tow truck driver had to wait 30 minutes for them to get off the phone and talk to him, only to tell him they weren't releasing it because there is "still money owing on it". Overall brutal experience, would not recommend using this place for service as it is a total scam. After reading around online, the rest of the internet seems to agree.... Lesson learned; we should have read some of these reviews before we went! They are incompetent and I seriously question if they are even licensed mechanics. read more
