They came close to "stripping" the threads. I needed to use a Johnson bar to remove it but I was lucky. My son was not so lucky. The service tech "rounded" one of the retaining screws that hold a cover over his drain plug, again due to over tightening. Now we have to bend the cover every time we need to drain oil unless we drill out the screw and re-tap threads to replace the screw. Burlington Cycle needs to remind their techs to NOT over tighten non essential hardware. If you go there you might want to remind them to save headaches

This is the second time that I am being turned off by this sale representative at Burlington cycle. Honestly, he is the worst sales experience I have ever encountered in my 30 + years of riding and buying motorcycles. The first time I went there , I thought this guy had a bad day and perhaps that's why he was not very helpful and borderline rude. Having said that, because of his lack of people skills, he actually, turned me away 'from even considering buying a Goldwing. A year later today, I decided to give it another shot and went in with a positive attitude, excited only to find the same old sales representatives sitting behind the desk, with the same Mister know it all attitude , being very argumentative and opiniated. Heads up Burlington Cycle, I was going there to have a pleasant exchange with a sale representative that cared and that can actually tell me about the bike and perhaps close a sale for a 2024 Goldwing tour! Unless they make some changes , you need to seriously avoid this dealer I know, I will bring my business elsewhere! yours truly P,Richer

I wanted to find a place that just sold these kinds of bikes. I drove all the way from Brampton. The sales guy I had was very helpful. After I picked my bike they delivered it with no charge. I was very happy with the whole experience until... I was doing some searching online about battery care. They say you should take your battery out when the weather gets cooler. So I took my battery out. This is when the problems started. There is a place in the battery itself where you can plug the charger into. Well here was the problem. The plug would not fit right into the charger. It would fit into the bike itself. So I called the store and the sales guy said to me about pulling some part off the charger. Well I was not going to do this. My warranty would no longer apply to the charger. It said right there in on my bill. So I called the store one day to see if there would be anyone there they said there would be. So I went all the way back to Burlington. When I got to the store no one was there. I waited and I waited. No one ended up showing up. I had called the store a few times when I was waiting and it went right to a fax machine. I also asked some of the people that worked in the stores around if the bike store had been open. They said no. It had not been open for a few days. So I wrote and note and stuck it to the outside of the front door saying I was there. I did get a call back but when I did I was already near home. There had been a family emergency. This I understood but told the owner he should have had a sign outside the door telling his customers they were not open. This past week I went back down to the store with my charger. The sales guy which I think is the owner (he was the one who sold me my bike) was nothing but rude to me and the attitude got was very on called for. He asked me why I did not bring the battery with me. I said to him because it is very heavy. He did not like my answer. So he ended up giving me a new charger that was different then the one that had come with the bike. This one would fit both the bike it's self and the battery when the battery was not in the bike. I asked him why would you not give this one to me from the get go. He kind of danced around his answer to me. I had asked him if he could show me that it would fit the battery of the same model of bike I had. He gave me a hard time saying the battery was heavy. So I looked at him and said now you understand why I didn't bring mine. The battery ended up fitting fine. I made him do this since the drive from my place to his store is not just around the corner. I would have given this store a better review if the whole thing with the battery never happened because of that and the customer service I got I will not be going back to this store. They only seem to be out for the money and once they have it they don't care. I have worked in retail for years so I know how the game works. You get your good places and your bad places. Places that seem to care more than just the dollar sign and others that don't and this is one of them

One of these places is found in Stoney Creek, Ont. and in particular at 10 Pinelands Avenue there you will find a shop known as Ultimate Cycle and therein you will find two of these such individuals. First the larger one and leader of the gang is known as Brian or Bryan (it doesn't matter how you spell it a rose is a rose by any name) and the smaller one is known as Tim but do not let his smaller stature fool you, he is a genuine ne'er do well also. I advise anyone visiting this location to do so at their own peril and be aware that attending near the lunch hour be patient as the consumption of food during this time is very important to these rascals. As for their skill and knowledge of motorcycle repair you will not find two more knowledgeable and helpful mechanics. They are willing to not only repair your bike but they will also provide advice and guidance if you are attempting to sort out your problems on your own. I do however suggest that when you approach these wizards of motorcycle repairs be polite, cordial and just nice and if you really want to score some brownie points, I suggest that you bring two Dilly Bars or other appropriate gifts of sugar for the purpose of offering a sacrifice to the wizards. Sugary treats will tend to placate the angry portion of their auras and will aid in your quest for help with your motorized wheeled vehicle problems. Thank you Bryan/Brian and Tim Uncle Dennis
