I have been a patient of Dr. Keith's for well over a quarter of a century. I was born in 1950 and grew up in the dark ages when a trip to the dentist meant pain and anxiety. Even in more modern times I had some bad experiences that made me hesitant to see a dentist. That completely changed when I found Dr. Keith. Thanks to Dr. Keith and his excellent staff, for the first time in my life I have felt perfectly comfortable going to the dentist (I almost fell asleep during a root canal once). I have especially enjoyed--if that is the right word in a dentist's office--listening to Dr. Keith think aloud with his amazing dental assistant, Kelly, as he solves a difficult problem. And I haven't made his work easy! Ancient and difficult to reach molars, an odd crossbite--Doctor Keith even came into the office on a Saturday morning to stabilize a tooth I broke the night before on an olive pit. I also want to give a special shout out to Pamela, who keeps the whole show running at the front desk. And also to Lacey, my incredible dental hygienist since Jay retired. I cannot recommend Dr. Keith enough. Ray Young read more

Not only is Dr. Keith an exceptional dentist, his office administrator Pamela is exceptional as well!!! In a busy office when I was making an appointment for a crown replacement for next October, she took the time to explain in detail the strategies available to me to afford the dental work. I am really appreciative of this! Not many offices provide such professional yet caring "hometown doctor" care and I am continually amazed by this at Dr. Keith's office! read more

I've been seeing, Dr. Keith, for about 10 years. I used to be terrified of dentist visits until I came to this office. Dr. Keith and the staff are professional, caring and they want the customer to have a good experience. I've had cavities worked on, a crown put on a broken tooth and routine maintenance done. I look forward to my visits because my dental hygiene and oral health are important to me. My teeth are not perfect but I sure want a great dentist and assistants to work on them. I recommend Dr. Keith, whenever anyone asks about needing to find a dentist. I'm a very happy customer. read more

Dr. Keith and his staff, Kelly and Pamela, are all outstanding. Dr. Keith is professionally excellent and also a caring doctor who will even take phone calls in a weekend if you have an emergency. I could not be more pleased. read more

I have been with Dr. Keith since he started his practice in the 80s. He is everything you want in a medical professional -- caring, supportive, conservative, gentle, interactive and just good. By conservative, I mean that he isn't in there doing dental work just for the sake of doing it - he watches things over time and only does procedures when they are needed. Kelly takes the time to get to know people, and to explain to them what's happening with their teeth and what the options are. If you have dental anxiety, Dr. Keith is the dentist for you. When I needed some emergency work, he was right on it. And his staff is great - I actually enjoy going to my cleanings with Jay (go figure). Pamela and Kelly are also awesome. read more

I used to be terrified of going to the dentist and Dr. Keith completely changed that. He's been my dentist for 4 years now and I couldn't be happier with the treatment I receive from him and his staff every time I go. Everyone is very friendly and caring at his office and they do excellent work. I've had experiences where other dentists want to do unnecessary procedures to run up my bill and I never feel that way here. Dr. Keith is honest and doesn't want to drill into your teeth if it's not needed. read more

It's been a couple years since I was there. I had recently moved and was looking for a dentist in the area. The office manager/ front desk person seemed disorganized/ annoying to me. But Dr Keith was very personable so I was giving it a shot. However, he told me I had 2 cavities and I was very skeptical because I hadn't had any in many years with my prior dentist. So I never went in for the fillings. Almost 2 years later I finally made it into a decent dentist and surprise...definitely no cavities. read more

I was not notified of the charges for the minor work I was having done until my appointment was over and the horrible woman at the front desk was hounding me for payment. It would have been nice to know that I was going to have to pay $200 for minor work at the time of visit. Maybe I wouldn't have had the work done or would have waited to a more opportune time when money wasn't so tight if I had known. I gave her no choice but to bill me, which I did not receive a bill, but instead a phone call that was beyond rude. The she-devil at the front desk started off the call with a condescending and rude tone, which turned into her interrupting me and threatening collections (please keep in mind the work was done just a few months prior, and I never received a bill - is it so wrong that I thought insurance was covering it???). Not only that, but the website notes that if you were referred, both the referrer and referree get $20 off...apparently that is not the case and despite the site showing it incorrectly, I was not granted this $20. What is with the horrible money-hungry companies with no respect or customer service for their customers? Ugh. Screw MetLife too. read more

I went to Dr Keith in the 90's, then life moved me around Austin. Ended up with Dr Naeve in South Austin, after a couple of terrible experiences. Dr. Naeve retired, then Debbie, my favorite hygienist retired. I'm still South, but needed a good dentist, so decided to go back to Dr. Keith. So glad I did! His staff was so nice, and Jay, the hygienist made my teeth cleaning a joy! Nobody should have this much fun at the dentist!!! Thanks to everyone for welcoming back. read more

First time patient... life long dentist-phobe. After a decade in clinics (no insurance) I had come to expect cold, Mc-dentistry type of visit. Not the case with Dr. Kelly and staff. Location has parking, is cozy and modern. My wait was short, and after filling out paperwork , I was greeted by Hygienist Dan and Dr Keith. I needed Xrays, but after an exam, they decided to do only a few, to save me money and radiation exposure :) Naturally friendly banter and an actual interest in my story instantly relaxed me. Cleaning was one of the most comfortable I have had as an adult. No joke. Upon leaving, I was told 'welcome to the family'. Jeez, my old guy never even said goodbye. read more

Still going to see Dr Keith after all these years. He is still the kindest, most thorough dentist I've ever been to! His staff is so awesome as well. Jay and Pam and Kelly and others...they are all so sweet, friendly and kind. Definitely puts you at ease, especially when you are dealing with some crazy dental work that could stress out the normal person. They really try their best to make you feel comfortable before they start to do work on you. Can't recommend this dentist and his staff enough!!! read more

Dr. Keith is the best Dentist I know in Austin Texas. Great guy who is very professional but also makes you feel at ease in the office. The office is nice and easy to find. His staff is also amazing especially Pamela at the front desk, she is great with any questions you have. She is happy to help everyone that walks through the door. Overall Dr. Keith and his staff are amazing I would recommend if you need a dentist in Austin go see him. read more

Dr. Keith has been my dentist for many years. He is the most professional, knowledgeable, kindest, excellent person and dentist that I have ever met. He not only has exceptional bed side manners and cares, but he makes sure you get the very best by always having the latest technology and best assistants. His assistant, Kelly, is fabulous. His front desk staff is superb. They are courteous, knowledgeable, and extremely ethical in all their dealings. Pamela and Samantha answer volumes of calls, and they are always happy to see all of the patients. The hygienists are also great. I have had all types of procedures here trough out the years, and I feel extremely lucky to have a dentist like Dr. Keith. If you need excellent dental care, he is your guy. read more

Dr. Keith is wonderful. Not only does he do careful and excellent dental work, but he genuinely cares about his patients. He will go out of his way to explain options and involve the patient. He considers the impact of options on the patient's life concerns. And he is willing to be creative when needed. I have been seeing him for years. Recently, I had a problem that could not be resolved in the ordinary ways. He spent a lot of time thinking about alternatives and revising them as he went along. The outcome was better than I had anticipated, even at my most unreasonably optimistic. I really cannot recommend him highly enough; you could not do better. As an added benefit, his assistant, Kelly, is wonderful. She kind, funny and helpful. They make a terrific team. read more

The receptionist is very professional. Instead of telling me the price out loud, she showed it to me on a calculator. I went in asking for help on how I could go about getting my wisdom tooth removed. Dr. Keith examined my tooth and said the extraction could be done that day in about 30 minutes. That's when the receptionist let me know how much it would cost. It was a very reasonable price. My dental technician was Kelly and she was great. Friendly and comforting. My experience with this dental clinic was awesome. I will be coming again and again. read more

I love the office Dr. Kelly Keith is great! The front desk woman needs to go! She's not nice I stopped going because of her!

I've been a patient of Dr. Keith's for 12 years and always have great service when I go there. Alma works the desk and is very friendly. She greets you by your first name when you arrive. Melissa has been my dental technician for 12 years and she is very good. Dr. Keith treats every patient respectfully and he clearly cares about them as people. In addition, he is very skilled. I've had cleanings, fillings (new and replacements), temporary and permanent crowns, etc. He does great work! The turnover at the office has been minimal in the time that I've been going there and this is really important to ensuring an excellent experience for patients. I highly recommend Dr. Keith and his staff to anyone looking for a skilled, caring and friendly dentist. read more

I have been going to Dr. Keith for over 10 years. Alma is the office mgr and she sets the tone for the staff: friendly, accomodating, patient, and professional. She always has a compliment for me or my children. As for Dr. Keith, what can I say except, "He makes the best TEMPORARY crowns ever!" My latest one lasted 2 years (I am just now making time to go get the permanent one). He's a perfectionist and so kind and generous, too. I highly recommend, especially if you don't have insurance; they'll work with you. read more

Kelly Keith has been my dentist for about 30 years. I've had a pretty fair amount of dental work done - removal of some childhood fillings, crowns, etc., plus regular cleanings (Jay is great). I have been satisfied with every aspect of my relationship with Dr. Keith, from chair-side manner to billing practices. I know that he is constantly attending courses on new techniques - far more than required for continuing education. I recommend him (and his staff) without hesitation. read more

I have never had anything but a top notch experience here-- the staff is SO nice! I initially came here because I needed a teeth cleaning, and on my way to school the stars aligned and I noticed the stainless steel "DENTIST" sign outside the office. I've now been going here for almost three years, and even changed insurance companies in order to stay with this office. They get you in and out so quickly that you barely notice you were there, a bonus for anyone with a busy schedule! read more

Like so many of us, I'm always terrified to go to the dentist. I'm not really so bothered by the drills or cavities, but feel that most dentists are some of the best con artists out there. Dr. Keith and his staff offered such a different experience than what I'm used to with dentists. Upon letting them know that I did not have dental insurance, the receptionist let me know that they had recently run a coupon in a local magazine offering a free cleaning with examination. She was happy to apply the coupon to my visit, which saved me over $100. Once in the chair, there were absolutely no add ons or scare tactics. I actually only paid for the exam! Since I had not been to the dentist in a year and a half, I had quite a bit of gum irritation which required some scaling by Melissa, the hygienist. I had to have the same procedure done by a dentist in Fort Lauderdale, and they charged me an additional $800! There was no extra fee from Dr, Keith's office. The hygienist was so patient and thorough, and even took the time to show me how to floss more effectively so I would have less gum irritation in the future. Dr. Keith is so relaxed and patient, and also took time to answer my questions without making me feel rushed. I would recommend Dr. Keith's office to anyone and everyone. They have an honest and thorough approach to dentistry, and I will be coming back in six months! read more

I am a new patient of Dr. Keith's and I have to tell you that he is AWESOME!! It's very rare that you find a doctor that will actually call a patient - not his nurse or assistant, him!! The entire team at his office is phenomenal. Dr Keith will spend the time to explain exactly what needs to be done and go over options with you. His assistant Kelly ROCKS, so friendly and fun!!! Alma and Pamela at the front desk are fabulous and Melissa the dental technician is so sweet and patient when she's cleaning your teeth!! BEST DENTIST OFFICE EVER!!! read more

Great dentist, great staff. I'm a walk-in, new customer, visiting from Europe. They visibly care about customer satisfaction, and are very clear in explaining wha'ts going on with your teeth. Equipement looks nice and clean, state-of-the-art, digital imagery (pictures and x-rays) so you can follow explanations on a screen. Team is efficient and warm. Cherry on top: there's a picture of the sea on the ceiling to help you relax. I thought it was a nice touch. read more

The best and most thorough dental work I have received. They are in it for the best treatment for the patient and not the dollar sign. So happy to find a wonderful, friendly, and local staff I know will take care of me. read more

I have always been pleased with Dr. Keith's work, but the woman at the front desk is really inappropriate. I have considered several times not going back because of her. I have been a patient for about 7 years and once one of my fillings started to feel uncomfortable. It had been less than a year since he had made it, so he repaired it for free. The woman at the front desk is always rude to me, except once. I decided that if it happened one more time, I would find another dentist. I've seen reviews where people rave about her. I wonder what you have to do for her to decide to be nice to you. read more

I too have been with Dr. Keith for years-- actually since he began practicing dentistry. He is an artist, who takes great pride in his work; he has an easy-going, compassionate chair-side presence; is professional, thorough, and inspires confidence in his work. All of the office staff are SUPERB. This includes Office Manager, Alma; Assistant Kelly; and RDH Melissa Acker, who always feels and treats her clients more like a friend (though of course professional and appropriate). I have resisted my insurer's attempts to put me with other dentists. I would much rather pay more out of pocket to be with Dr. Keith and his fine staff in this EXCELLENT practice! read more

Pamela, the receptionist, fraudulently charged $300 to my credit card 4 months after my dental service. When I called about this they refused to remove the charge. I asked to be sent a bill. My bank had me file fraud charges in order to get the money back. I also filed a complaint with the Attorney General and Dental Board. Needless to say, I do not recommend these frauds to anyone! Be careful. read more

Hands down, the BEST. Caring, personable, dedicated to his work. We moved out of town but continue to bring family here since he began his practice. 30 yrs.! Have never wavered. Newest family from Ca. also using his services and very pleased read more
