My favourite ice cream shoppe! Really good ice cream. The bathroom is unfortunately in this weird outside shack, but other than that no complaints really. They have a nice mini golf- golf course and an amazing food truck. All staff members are friendly as well!
This review is towards the mini-golf. When I return for the food truck and creamery, it will get an update. We were thrilled to find a mini golf course in the area and let's face it, there are not that many in the Hudson Valley to be found. The course was set up wonderfully, and challenging for the most part, adding the fun. Some of the course runs parallel to a pond, which can be a hassle if the ball gets in there, so be careful. Something that drew my attention was each hole wasn't numbered, except for one of them which was number 11. Who knows, maybe I missed it. Even though that's an eye-catcher, it's very easy following hole to hole. Also, while golfing in the daytime, there aren't many trees close by, which will bring the sweat game on. Bringing some sunscreen is a big plus. I wouldn't mind making this stop again someday, because there is a lot to do here.
Such a cute place tucked away in Dover plain. This review includes Kelly's creamery and food truck because if you come for one, you should come for both! Super family friendly with outdoor seating by the food truck. They have a fire pit, long picnic tables, Cornhole games, chess, and bache ball fit. Order at the food truck window and they bring the food to you. There were 6 of us and we got their avocado burger, Hawaii burger (with grilled pineapple), ahi tuna sandwich,kid grilled cheese and kid burger, and sides of sweet potato fries and Cajun fries. Everything was reasonably priced (i.e. burgers/sandwich were $9-12 each(no fries), kids meal include fries & drinks were $9 each, fries were $5). Food was fresh and delicious, even the kid's grilled cheese was on thick taxes toast bread. The kids were distracted with all the outdoor games which made our eating experience pleasant. After lunch we head over to the creamery which had many yummy flavors to choose from. Flavors like pumpkin, blueberry, strawberry cheesecake, death by chocolate, cookie dough, etc. They definitely don't skim on ingredients, ones we tried are packed with goodies and flavor. Very good! Highly recommend coming here and make this your regular spot!

Cookie sandwiches to floats. They have it ALL. Here's the scoop: Low-fat yogurt, vegan, dairy free, no sugar added options are available. A huge amount of flavors to choose from. Big scoops, decent pricing. Amazing ice cream! If you would like any specialty sundaes these are a must. Cute table seating area outside to come sit with friends or on a little date. Perfect spot for dessert so leave room for it. Dogs are welcome outside. Plenty of parking. Great sundae-funday spot to come chill out.
Stopped at Kelly's while in town hiking to Dover Stone Church. We decided to try their food truck right out side their creamery. The whole idea of having seating next to a food truck was awesome. We had a good time especially after trying the amazing burgers and fries they make. We definitely ordered way too much but we're big eaters. We couldn't leave without trying their icecream and folks, it's definitely a must try. If I'm in town again or passing by I'm definitely stopping again. The staff was super friendly and very welcoming. Made my experience even more enjoyable.
This place is super cute!. So many ice cream flavors and specialty cone choices. Lot of fun for the kids and teens. Ice cream is fresh and yummy. The staff are local kids all very friendly. Great customer service. If it was just the ice cream store I'd give it five stars, however the food truck to me is the downer. I've only ever gotten burnt food. Burnt chicken tenders, burnt burger The quality of food that came out of the truck wasn't good. The menu looks great which is what made me want to try it. I've tried it twice once I ordered several items from the menu at once, the second time I just wanted a burger. Both burned.
I passed this on my way to Dover Stone Church and knew I had to stop by afterwards. There were so many options and I got kind of overwhelmed so I just went with the special listed on the door. Dirt Sundae. It was delicious. I want to go back and try everything.
If you want good old fashioned rich creamy delicious ice cream, chocolate-dipped waffle cones studded with all kinds of goodies, this is the place to come. Cheery flowers and aqua blue picnic tables, and outdoor lights are charming and just make me happy
I came upstate with two friends who're living here during the pandemic. There isn't much around for them to do, but they constantly express their gratitude for living so close to Kelly's Creamery! They said that once we arrived, that we HAD to get to their food truck (which is only open on weekends) before they close. They recommended their shrimp and grits, which I got! The grits were creamy, cheesy, butter-y, well cooked....everything you want in grits. They were topped of with perfectly seared mushrooms (you can tell they didn't add the salt until the mushrooms were cooked, like you're supposed to), nicely grilled and seasoned shrimp and........BACON! What a combo of flavors! I also ordered a cheeseburger, which was nicely cooked and perfectly seasoned! I asked for it to be cooked medium rare and they did just that. This burger was beyond juicy! I squeezed it, just to enjoy watching the juices run from it. Such a beautiful sight to behold . They had super festive Halloween decorations up, which was fun. They also had heat lamps for their guests who decided to stick around and eat their food there. The following day was just as exciting because it was time to get their ice cream! They had such a variety to choose from, which is never good for me, because I'm so indecisive lol. I ended up going with the Graham explosion flavor, and their seasonal apple pie flavor. Omg, the graham explosion was perfect. You got globs of graham cracker swirls, cinnamon, and chocolate covered graham cracker chunks! The apple pie flavor was just as amazing, also consisting of graham cracker (crust), with perfectly, seemingly sautéed apples. The warm cinnamon flavor and crust really made you feel like you were eating an apple pie. My friends who go there often, vouch for every flavor they've tried, being delicious! Five stars from me!
I've worked in Wingdale for 11 years and never knew this place existed! We visited for a coworker's retirement, and I was pleasantly surprised by what a gem Kelly's is. The atmosphere is wonderful, with a food truck, miniature golf, fire pits, and an ice cream creamery that make it a fun spot for all ages. I ordered the pulled pork with coleslaw, and it was honestly some of the best I've ever had. If you're in the Dover area, I highly recommend stopping by. Great food, a relaxed atmosphere, and a unique local spot that's definitely worth a visit! read more
They have tons of options here both Vegan and Non Vegan. I had the Vegan Bordeaux Cherry made with Pea protein. It might be the best Vegan ice cream I've ever tasted! The cherries were fresh and delicious. The vegan ice cream base was firm and satisfying. You must stop by and try it! read more
Ice cream here is tasty and sweet, not as creamy as the high butterfat super premium brands but for a local stop, is plenty delicious. Favorite flavors are Death by Chocolate, Coffee Cookie Crunch and Cappuccino Explosion. It difficult to choose between the three since a double scoop is as much as I can handle before my sinuses explode from exceeding my lactose threshold. This snack spot's popularity is well deserved and the line inside can get pretty long and move slowly. Once you give your order to the kind person behind the counter- please don't hang out in front of the ice cream display and block its view. The happy horde of your friends and family are not transparent. The last few times I've been here, there were older couples who were quietly trying but failing to peek in between lolly gaggers to consider selections and order. While staff work hard to finish orders expediently, customer crowd control would benefit if they were more upfront and stated an organized process "I'll get that started for you. Please wait for your order at the pickup area to your left, and we will call your name when it's ready". read more

Delicious ice cream and friendliest staff one could possibly imagine. Very pretty space and outdoor seating- patio and fireplace across the way (at Kelly's Husband's Food Truck) make you feel at home. read more

NEW Sorry, we must have come on an off day. Although the 3pc chicken fingers were huge... They were not hot. They were rubbery. Not gourmet at all. The coleslaw was really cabbage, no dressing of any kind. The barbecue sauce was blah. The fries were good. I always take my leftovers home... This time they're in the garbage pail. Anyone who knows me knows these are valid comments. I should have known when the fries were coming out after the chicken - That the chicken wasn't freshly fried. read more

So happy to see that "Open" sign this summer. Delicious variety of flavors. Relieved to see dairy free and no sugar added options so everyone can enjoy a good ice cream cone on a hot day. Lots of sandwich, cone and shake options. If you're one of those people that needs to eat "real food" before eating ice cream, Kelly's husband operates a food truck in the parking lot. (Haven't tried that yet) read more

COVID-19 has sent me on an ice cream tour of the tri-state area and beyond and without question Kelly's is the best! Superb ice cream, friendly staff, dog-friendly, cute seating area. And kept me feeling safe with their limited customers indoors and 6ft markers outside. I'd like to give a shoutout to my favorite flavor, but I can't because I've tried so many and you can't go wrong. read more
