Lana Christiano boasted herself of a cabinet design specialist and did the worst job ever. Even after repeated visits tomorrow house, she could not just register the RIGHT color of the cabinet and as a result screwed up the entire order. On top of that, Ultracraft being the worst cabinet supplier, supplied unfinished panels which we had to fight for, with no ultimate resolution. Lana put blame on Ultracraft, which out blame back on ordering inefficiency. And not one needle moved for kitchen view to accept their mistake. Instead Lana had the audacity to ask us that we should pay for half the price of the cabinets to get thee right color, because, in her limited mind, we made a mistake. On top of all this BS, manager never stepped up. Complete waste of my time and money working with this incompetent business and pretend cabinet designers. Hope they burn in hell.

Their attention to detail and quality of workmanship were outstanding, and they were great at dealing with changes that were needed during the project. Most importantly, the finished kitchen came out beautifully and exceeded our expectations. We are extremely happy with both the quality of the work and the overall experience. First, our designer lost the design plans and tried to cover it up. This caused us to have to try to re-remember items that we had discussed prior. For example, we asked for no spice rack, then we get a spice rack, so we then had to improvise once the project was underway. Completely incompetant...no apologies, and our designer clearly didn't listen the first time, take notes, and honestly just didn't care at all about us. We should have known then, next time we will just walk away..... Next, our contracter was a complete joke. Never inspected the site for follow up / punch list items. Eletrical and Floor contracters were sub par, we still have a light switch that doesn't work properly. They destroyed our dining room floors relocating our refridgerator, with no full repair, just a touch up that looks like crap. They also damaged our mudroom floor and apparently have no idea how to fix what they broke, so I now have a gap in my floor that has never been addressed. Lastly, they never finished the final revisions to the trim. I told this clown several times what we needed to tidy up on, and several times never receieved follow up. In other cases, he did not properly relay instructrions to the sub contractors, so twice we had cabinet / trim people show up without the necessary materials to tidy up. The cabinent / trim guys were the only bright spot in an otherwise horrible experience. I truly felt bad for Bud and Shawn as their time was wasted by our General Contractor. As it stands now, almost 6 months since we were suppossed to be "complete" and zero follow up. I am embarrased to have people show up with incomplete instructions, and our general contractor has not visited the kitchen to address anyting since NOVEMBER of last year. Do not go with this place, over budget, zero follow up, horrible design team, bad sub contractors. Complete waste of time, and we never got the satisfaction of a final, complete, project....

We have always had good service here with any of the rugs we've brought to them for cleaning…read more Recently, we brought them one of our largest rugs for service. It is a Persian hand-knotted wool rug that was made in the 1950s. It is both excellent quality and still in excellent condition. We love this rug, the colors and design. It was time for it to go in for an inspection and cleaning. The staff here is extremely knowledgeable about not only the care and repair of rugs but can inform you of the likely country of origin, age and value of your rugs if these things are unknown to you. I think the prices are reasonable but that does not mean they are inexpensive. But for high quality rugs this is the place to take them to be assured of knowledgeable care, handling, and repair if needed. There is a reason that high quality rugs hold up over time. They are generally made well to begin with created from sturdy and quality natural materials like wool and often are hand-knotted. Hand-knotting differs from hand-tufted rugs and it goes without saying is vastly different than machine made. A hand-knotted rug is woven by hand using a loom. The rug maker ties each knot of the rug entirely by hand. This is a labor intensive and time consuming but wonderful rug making technique. Hand-tufted rugs are made by hand using a tool. The rug maker in this case uses a tool to push tufts of material through the back of a cotton canvas. This is a quicker process and doesn't require a high level of expertise. In fact, as a teen I learned how to make small rugs in this manner. It was a fun craft for me for a few years. If well care for, a hand-knotted rug generally will stand the test of time. They are often handed down in families becoming in many instances more valuable and precious with time. It is important to ensure any carpet is cleaned regularly and professionally but it goes without saying that a hand-knotted wool rug should get specialized care. This is not a situation where one should consider a DIY approach or using rug chemicals from a can bought from Home Depot or the supermarket. We are fortunate to have Grillo nearby to provide the kind of care precious rugs/carpets deserve. They are very busy bees here...Once we dropped off the rug we were told it could take up to a month to get it back...and indeed they had it for a month. That was fine with is. This isn't slap dash service. During that time we were able to enjoy the pristine hardwood floor underneath the rug that we never see. Lol! Grillo has pickup and delivery service as well but since we have a pickup truck and thankfully are both strong, we were able to drop off and pick up on our own...(I subscribe to "use it or lose it"). One of the (burly) guys working here does come out to your vehicle though and with amazing deftness and talk about strength, brings the rug singlehandedly (I might add), into the shop as well as reloads it back in your vehicle at pickup.
