Norfolk did a great job coordinating everything and keeping the project moving forward on schedule. Their attention to detail and quality of workmanship were outstanding, and they were great at dealing with changes that were needed during the project. Most importantly, the finished kitchen came out beautifully and exceeded our expectations. We are extremely happy with both the quality of the work and the overall experience. Horrible experience overall. We went with Norfolk based on a referral from a friend who's husband…read moreworks as a cabinet / installer. From start to finish, nothing but trouble. First, our designer lost the design plans and tried to cover it up. This caused us to have to try to re-remember items that we had discussed prior. For example, we asked for no spice rack, then we get a spice rack, so we then had to improvise once the project was underway. Completely incompetant...no apologies, and our designer clearly didn't listen the first time, take notes, and honestly just didn't care at all about us. We should have known then, next time we will just walk away..... Next, our contracter was a complete joke. Never inspected the site for follow up / punch list items. Eletrical and Floor contracters were sub par, we still have a light switch that doesn't work properly. They destroyed our dining room floors relocating our refridgerator, with no full repair, just a touch up that looks like crap. They also damaged our mudroom floor and apparently have no idea how to fix what they broke, so I now have a gap in my floor that has never been addressed. Lastly, they never finished the final revisions to the trim. I told this clown several times what we needed to tidy up on, and several times never receieved follow up. In other cases, he did not properly relay instructrions to the sub contractors, so twice we had cabinet / trim people show up without the necessary materials to tidy up. The cabinent / trim guys were the only bright spot in an otherwise horrible experience. I truly felt bad for Bud and Shawn as their time was wasted by our General Contractor. As it stands now, almost 6 months since we were suppossed to be "complete" and zero follow up. I am embarrased to have people show up with incomplete instructions, and our general contractor has not visited the kitchen to address anyting since NOVEMBER of last year. Do not go with this place, over budget, zero follow up, horrible design team, bad sub contractors. Complete waste of time, and we never got the satisfaction of a final, complete, project....

He didn't mind running around and pairing tiles for us. Very knowledgeable on all the products there and is willing to help in any way possible. Quotes are provided in a PDF and sent via email. Liz Klar is another very well mannered and helpful associate there. On the day Jesus was not available, she stepped in with no hesitation to assist us with all our needs. She is very well versed on all the products in the showroom and very quick to act. When you ask for a quote or any questions during your time there, she will send an email on the spot and also include any additional information that you may have discussed during your visit there. She is very detailed and an extreme pleasure to work with as well. Showroom is well lit and tastefully put together. Gives you some really solid ideas for renovations. Plenty of floor models for inspiration and product viewing. They have a wide range of sample products in the back of actual size which makes it easy for pairing different tile patterns and designs. Overall, great experience and completed my purchase with him. He goes the extra mile to really make the experience as easy for the customer. We spent four hours there and he was helping us the entire time. I will provide an additional review once I receive the shipment. Please note the below for expectations for Porcelonosa There is no free shipping. Any shipping is a minimum cost of $125 because they deliver by the pallet and no other way. Each pallet can hold up to 2,000 lbs. Another option is driving up to New Jersey Warehouse to pick up the items on your own to avoid the $125 shipping fee. I would only suggest this if it's a few items. Vanity and tile material are suggested to be shipped on two different pallets, so please be mindful that your cost will be $250 for shipping. Their reasoning is the vanity will be easily damaged if they are fitted on the same pallet. When putting your order together, be sure to include the cost of ordering extra material. Special orders take time to be shipped from Spain to USA, and will not be available for pick up or delivery for an estimated 5-7 weeks. This will put some serious delays on your renovation project. They do not have an products for sale at the showroom locations. They all come from their warehouse in New Jersey. Curbside delivery is the only availability. If you live in an apartment building, they will NOT bring the material up to your unit. Please be sure to schedule the delivery date to a day when your contractor is available to move the material up on your behalf.

We had two major issues. 1) they charged us for shipping twice bc all items were ready but one and If you break up the shipping you pay twice. That second shipping was supposed to come on a specific day and time so hired contractor to come that day and they cancelled it saying "the truck never left". They refused refund that extra shipping fee. 2) they just flat out ordered the wrong size sink. They match the sink to the vanity you chose and they just ordered the wrong which delayed the project by over a week. Basically this place doesn't care about the customer but the vanities are nice.

For a relatively modest sum of money, Charles helped us with a very challenging remodeling project. He helped us with a very significant gut-and-remodel job, where we had strict setback concerns, neighborhood guidelines, and original challenges. For example, we wanted to build an enclosed porch around a 50+ year old Maple Tree. And, he did it! If I were to sum up Charlie's greatest strength, it would be his vision. He comes up with designs that are inspiring, yet functional. He also helped us through the entire project and made sure that our contractors built the house as designed. Charlie's a quiet guy, and doesn't come off as either the "starched-white-shirt" kind or architect, or the "I'm the greatest" salesman-architect. But, judge him on his work product, and you won't be disappointed. You should probably also know that I have no other affiliation with Architects 2, and in fact, chose them after meeting with a dozen prospective firms. In fact, they don't know that I'm writing this review. So please accept my opinion when I say, Architects 2 is the best!

Lana Christiano boasted herself of a cabinet design specialist and did the worst job ever. Even after repeated visits tomorrow house, she could not just register the RIGHT color of the cabinet and as a result screwed up the entire order. On top of that, Ultracraft being the worst cabinet supplier, supplied unfinished panels which we had to fight for, with no ultimate resolution. Lana put blame on Ultracraft, which out blame back on ordering inefficiency. And not one needle moved for kitchen view to accept their mistake. Instead Lana had the audacity to ask us that we should pay for half the price of the cabinets to get thee right color, because, in her limited mind, we made a mistake. On top of all this BS, manager never stepped up. Complete waste of my time and money working with this incompetent business and pretend cabinet designers. Hope they burn in hell.
