We were on the early side which with our luck was also the day of that freak snowstorm in May. I contacted them to change delivery at the last minute, and they did with no problem. We needed more after the first delivery and called kind of in a panic, and they again were VERY accommodating. The mulch was perfect, good price, with no plastic or debris that I noticed. We had that happen with another company. After the summer hit full swing we decided to install irrigation for a new lawn. Having had such a good experience with everything else we added MLE into the quotes we were getting for irrigation. Their quote was not the most expensive by far and not the least expensive either, but it seemed like we would have better materials and more attention to detail with MLE. They came when they said they were going to, accommodated my schedule, I could not be there on the initial date. Coordinating three separate contractors to get the whole landscape done was a challenge, but I enjoyed working with Mike and Barbara to get our project done perfectly.

Every year my lawn was getting decimated by heat, grubs, etc. I was wasting time and money as the treatments I was putting on my lawn were not getting properly watered in. The amount of effort it took every year to get my lawn back was getting to be too much. So this year, I just had an irrigation system installed in my 1 acre yard by Mike Lynch Enterprises and I couldn't have been happier with the job that was done at my home. Mike and his team gave me a very competitive price, everything was documented in the quote. They even provided spec sheets for all of their top of the line products (pipe, fittings, heads, etc.). They arrived the day of the install bright and early and were literally in and out by a little after lunch time. What a GREAT group of guys !!! Mike clearly explained the process and the installation from start to finish leaving no stone unturned. There was hardly any clean up required at all when they left, you barely knew they were here. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone looking for an irrigation system to get in touch with Mike Lynch Enterprises, he's a good local guy, honest and straight forward and his team knows exactly what they're doing. I had quite a few quotes on replacing the driveway. Most of the contractors were mainly interested…read morein getting the square footage and off to the next quote without spending even a few minutes to discuss concerns I had with drainage. Not only was Johnston paving's quote reasonable...Scott took the time to discuss in detail, the drainage issue, and slight changes to the layout for easier access, additional parking, and improved curb appeal. The garage floor was also severely cracked and damaged. It proved very difficult to find anyone who would show up for a quote, let alone remove it for a reasonable price and timeline. Scott offered to remove it at a reasonable cost, and once we had a plan, we scheduled a start date. The crew was prompt and swift in removal and prep for asphalt. There was a few weeks delay in getting the garage concrete work done do to a month of rain, but once complete, the crew was back at it, and had the driveway looking fantastic. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. All the neighbors have commented on how nice the property looks now...and I owe it all to Scott and the crew of Johnston Paving!

About 3 years ago Scott Johnston repaved my small driveway and every time I clear it of leaves,…read moresnow, etc., I greatly appreciate the work he did. He personally graded and contoured the area with a small dozer to solve major runoff and drainage problems with a minimum amount of pitch in any direction. He replaced a very high, problematic entry berm put in by the town by smoothly contouring the area as an integral part of the driveway. He enlarged the driveway footprint on the fly to improve drainage and increase overall functionality at no additional cost, solved a problem with the garage/barn apron and avoided the need and cost for a police detail on a main road. He also put in a durable road-grade surface that I appreciated the first time extremely heavy trucks used driveway. His crew then did an excellent job of putting in a cobble stone border. The whole job noticeably improved the appearance of the property. I didn't know Scott before this work, but he is regarded as a real craftsman by his friends, and it is noticeable in the work he does. It was probably the best change made to the property for the money.
